Mother, Tatyana Epifantseva, was a fairly successful artist who received an economics education. In addition to Volodya, the family raised two children. Our hero had an older brother, Mikhail, and a younger sister, Tatyana.

From the age of 5, the boy began appearing in dramatic productions at his father’s theater. He always delighted the public. He liked the applause. It was at that time, according to the recollections of the most popular film actor, that he decided to follow in his father’s footsteps and perform on stage.

  • Personal life of Vladimir Epifantsev

The personal life of Vladimir Epifantsev, according to the stories of the film actor himself, began at an early age. He was never deprived of the attention of women. They ran after him in crowds, and he enjoyed their attention.

The guy fell in love for the first time right after the army. His chosen one, like other women, lost her head over an attractive young man, and after the third date he took his beloved to the registry office. But the happiness of the young did not last long. They soon divorced.

After breaking up with his first wife, Epifantsev changed women like gloves. Only in 2003 did he meet his beloved. After the wedding, the young people were happy. The family had two sons. In 2015, a number of media outlets began to periodically report that Vladimir Epifantsev and Anastasia Vvedenskaya had broken up. But the couple themselves remained silent. Only on the show program “Secret to a Million” did the popular film actor reveal truthfully and frankly all the secrets. He said that he does not live with his wife. She is currently in a relationship with another man, but Vladimir hopes that they will soon be together again.

    Family of Vladimir Epifantsev

The talented film actor was born into a creative family. His father worked in the theater and acted in films. In 1992, the man died tragically. He drank heavily and on the way home he was hit by a train. This death was a real blow for Vladimir.

The man’s mother was an economist, showed a talent for drawing, and in the late 80s began working in the theater with her husband.

The elder brother of the film actor, Mikhail, also played in the theater and starred in several films. In the difficult 90s, he could not find a job, so he decided to break with creativity. Soon he met his future wife. After a certain time, a son was born into the family, who was seriously ill. Mikhail took on any job to cure the child, but nothing helped. Unbeknownst to himself, the man became addicted to drugs. At the end of the 90s of the last century, Vladimir’s older brother died. He is buried next to his father.

Epifantsev has a sister, Natasha, who got married and became a mother.

The family of Vladimir Epifantsev includes his many friends who help the popular film actor in the most difficult moments of his life.

    Childhood and youth

At the beginning of September 1971, a future celebrity was born in one of the capital’s maternity hospitals. The father of the family, George, was a popular theater and film actor at that time. Vladimir Epifantsev’s mother Tatyana worked in the theater, changing her profession as an economist to an artist.

Dad brought the boy to the Moscow Art Theater when he was 3 years old. Young Vova soon began to consider the theater his second home. The upbringing and worldview of his son is largely the merit of his father, whom the artist remembered as incredibly energetic and kind.

Volodya grew up in a constant festive atmosphere, which was slightly overshadowed by the family’s place of residence - the northwestern district of Moscow called Tushino. Epifantsev was a rebel in his youth, growing his hair long and listening to rock music. At the age of 15, the teenager realized that if this continued, he would go downhill, and soon began to actively engage in sports.

After receiving secondary education, Vladimir went to a school for working youth. A few years later, he went to work at a factory, and then decided to make his childhood dream come true and follow in his father’s footsteps.

The young man decided to enroll in the Moscow Art Theater School, but he was rejected there. The reason for this was the theater’s hostility towards his father, who promoted ideas that were too innovative for that time. However, Vladimir did not give up and soon became a student at the Shchukin Theater Institute. He studied acting from Vladimir Romanov.

From the first days of his studies, Epifantsev tried to show his own opinion regarding acting, but his vision was not supported by the teachers. The young man watched with envy how experimental theater was developing in European countries.

Having received the acting profession in 1994, Vladimir entered GITIS in the directing department. In 2008, a company called Phoenix Film sued Epifantsev because he violated his contract by refusing to participate in the filming of the sequel to Two from the Casket. The thing is that the living conditions offered during the filming were unacceptable for the artist. The Moscow court satisfied the company's demands and set the amount of the penalty at 750 thousand rubles. To pay compensation, Vladimir was forced to sell his apartment and car.

    Children of Vladimir Epifantsev

In 2005, the star of the Russian film industry became a father for the first time. His beloved wife gave him his first son, whom they decided to call Gordius according to the calendar. After 3 years, the family was replenished with another son, whom the happy parents named Orpheus.

The children of Vladimir Epifantsev currently live with their mother and her new lover. The actor pays a lot of money for their maintenance, trying to ensure that the boys do not need anything.

Epifantsev calls his numerous film works his children, each of which is valued by him in its own way. He can’t name his favorite, saying that each of them has become a stepping stone to new beginnings.

The ex-wife of Vladimir Epifantsev - Yulia Stebunova

Despite the fact that the popular film actor was never deprived of female attention, he fell in love for the first time after his army service. His chosen one was his colleague, with whom he played together in Romeo and Juliet. Just a few days later, the young man took his beloved to the registry office.

After the marriage was registered, the couple did not live long. Epifantsev himself says that the reason for the separation was their youthful maximalism, which led to frequent quarrels in the family. A year later, the couple divorced.

In 2003, a popular film actor lost his head in love. Soon the young people began to live together. After some time, Anastasia became pregnant. It was then that the lovers registered their marriage. The closest people were present at the celebration.

The couple lived, worked, and raised two sons together. But in 2015, Vladimir Epifantsev’s ex-wife, Anastasia Vedenskaya, left her husband, taking their children. She says that the reason was his numerous affairs, which she became aware of.

    Personal life

Thanks to the actor’s rich and varied life, Vladimir Epifantsev met his future wife Anastasia Vedenskaya. The young people first saw each other at the Shchukin School, after which they lost touch for several years and were unable to communicate due to the girl’s business trip. Nevertheless, Vladimir, in love, finally found Anastasia, coming to another city to pick her up with the aim of officially proposing marriage. Today the couple has two children: Gordey and Orpheus (by the way, the no less famous actor Ivan Okhlobystin recently became Orpheus’ godfather).
