True, considerable preparations were made for the implementation of the plan. The girl, who graduated from school and then college, of course, dreamed of an acting profession. At the Mimar Sinan University of Arts in Istanbul, where Bergüzar entered the theater department, in addition to special disciplines, she really liked volleyball and other games in which she felt like part of the team. Therefore, I literally had to give up my sports preferences for the sake of art. The parents managed to reach out to their daughter and clearly explain that without additional acting classes, nothing would work out for real professionals.
Student years
And soon Susan Baston, who taught such great movie stars as Nicole Kidman and Thomas Hanks, became a teacher of young talent. The lecture and lessons had an effect. And when everything she heard and saw was able to be applied on the set of short films and theatrical performances, the university graduate was ready for serious work both in cinema and on stage.
Films and TV series
Korel entered the acting life by playing in the little-known TV series “Broken Life.” Participation in the next film “Valley of the Wolves: Iraq” in 2005 was not easy for Berguzar. The heroine Leila had to speak Arabic, which the actress did not know. But the performer coped with the role, and the success of the film became the success of Korel. This work was followed by others, the most striking of which are “Olive Branch” (in another translation “Olive Branch”) and the series “1001 Nights”, which brought Berguzar fame and the Golden Butterfly television award.

In the crime action film Uncle Kara, Korel played the role of a girl with whom the main character, played by Kenan Imirzalıoğlu, falls in love. There are many obstacles between lovers, one of them is irreconcilable differences between the family. In addition to her brilliant acting, Berguzar distinguished herself in the film by performing a musical composition in one of the episodes.
The experiment turned out to be successful - the song was liked not only by the audience, but also by representatives of show business. Soon, Korel signed a contract with producer Aykut Gürel to create a solo album, which she presented at the beginning of 2020. In total, the disc contained 12 tracks. The artist donated the proceeds from the sale of the disc to a charity fund for orphans.

The “Golden Butterfly” is not the only insignia of Corel. Berguzar played the role of a military wife who, together with her children, is waiting for her husband who has gone to the front in an occupied city. Personal life

The husband is a Turkish actor, partner in the series “1001 Nights” Halit Ergench, 12 years older than the actress. The couple met in 2006, when Halit was still married. For the sake of new love, the actor gets a divorce, despite the fact that his ex-wife was expecting a child, and soon marries Berguzar. After the wedding, the actress changed her last name to Korel-Ergench. The couple has a son named Ali, who was born in 2010.
