Actress Polina Filonenko biography personal life

Biography

Polina Filonenko was born on the outskirts of the northern capital into a family of factory workers.
The girl grew up very pretty and her parents sent her to the theater department of the Okhta Center for Humanitarian and Aesthetic Education. Here, in parallel with her studies at school, she learned the basics of acting for seven years. By the end of school, Polina had confirmed her intention to become an actress. She chose to enter the theater institute “School of Russian Drama named after. I.O.Gorbachev." “I think if I had not studied at a higher educational institution in St. Petersburg, I would not have had those film roles,” says Polina.

No matter how many outstanding roles Polina Filonenko plays, the actress’s personal life will be of interest to her fans and ordinary viewers no less than her new works. Filonenko is not legally married, but her heart is not free. In romantic relationships, the artist, who calls herself very amorous, is surprisingly constant.

For a long time, Polina has been in a relationship with one young man. Filonenko's beloved name is Andrey. For many years they were just friends, but at some point their attitude towards each other changed, and now they have been together for the eleventh year. The couple has not yet officially registered their feelings. However, the absence of a stamp in her passport does not prevent Polina from considering Andrei her real husband.

He has nothing to do with the art world, which the actress considers a big plus. According to Polina, Andrei is not jealous and takes her frequent departures due to work absolutely normally - and this is also a plus. After all, if Filonenko’s chosen one turned out to be jealous, it is not known what Polina would prefer - her loved one or her favorite job, without which, according to the actress, she is no longer she.

But already in her fourth year at the institute, the aspiring actress had luck in cinema - she took her photographs to Lenfilm, and two weeks later they called her and invited her to audition for two films at once: “Crime and Punishment” based on Dostoevsky and “Yar” based on Sergei Yesenin.

Polina Filonenko accepted the invitation to audition for “Crime and Punishment” with delight. However, the girl didn’t really believe that she would be approved for such a serious role. But director Dmitry Svetozarov, already at the first meeting, saw in the actress what he was looking for - the image of a modest, slightly timid girl with a meek expression and blue eyes. The real Sonechka Marmeladova! Polina auditioned in tandem with actor Vladimir Koshev, and both of them were approved.

Polina Filonenko admits that the image of Sonya is very close to her: “This is a difficult role, but I can’t say that I can’t resist it. At that time, Sonya was especially close to me. I am a believer, although not to the same extent as Sonya, I don’t know prayers, but I believe in God, and I don’t understand atheists like Raskolnikov. It just doesn’t fit in my head how it’s possible to do some of the things that he did, and that’s what I transferred into the role.”

The experience gained by Polina Filonenko on the set of Crime and Punishment turned out to be invaluable, laying the foundation for her future career.

With the light hand of Svetozarova, Polina confidently entered the world of big cinema. Her role as the rebel Katya in Valeria Gai-Germanika’s film “Everyone Will Die, But I’ll Stay” made her an idol for teenagers. The film was successfully shown at international festivals in Cannes and Munich. And at the European Film Festival in Brussels, Polina Filonenko, together with her co-stars Agniya Kuznetsova and Olga Shuvalova, was awarded the Prize for Best Actress.

At the beginning of her career, Polina categorically refused offers of work in TV series. True, I later realized that there are good films among them. Her work in the 12-episode film “I’ll Be Back,” which tells the story of the fate of the three Rostopchin sisters during the Great Patriotic War, turned out to be successful. The main role in the film was played by Elizaveta Boyarskaya, and Polina played her friend Tonya, a prisoner of a fascist concentration camp. Filming took place in Pavlovsk. The barracks were specially built, and that terrible atmosphere was carefully recreated. The actress says: “... it was very scary there, there were only “Germans” around. We were all covered in dirt, but they were clean, I felt terrible there: there was forest everywhere, there was nowhere to go. Once I saw soldiers walking past, apparently they had a military unit nearby, and I was so happy, I thought: “Russians!!!” It felt like everything was real.”

In 2009, Olympius Inferno was released, a film about the war in South Ossetia. Filming took place in Abkhazia, with the participation of people who survived their war. “You can’t beat them,” says Polina.

In addition, from 2009 to 2010, the actress played leading roles in the films: “I’ll Show You Moscow”, “Winter Woman”, “Love Therapy”, “Love Without Rules”. In recent years, Polina has starred in many films and TV series: “The Road Home”, “And the Ball Will Return”, “Father in Law”, “The Other Shore”, “Samara”, “Unexpected Joy”, “Autumn Melody of Love” and many others .

According to the actress, every shooting day is like a holiday for her. If she happens to play some big role, then she is completely immersed in it, forgetting about everything in the world.

Polina Filonenko

The topic of Russian cinema is now more popular than ever on Gossip. To be honest, I am skeptical about such a phenomenon, but is everything so bad? I bring to your attention a short post about a very talented, in my opinion, and most importantly Russian actress - Polina Filonenko! A simple girl who grew up in a hooligan yard, on the outskirts of Akademicheskaya, became an actress. And a year later, after graduating from theater school, she received one of the prizes at the Cannes Film Festival. Incredible takeoff. 17 films in two years. They ask: “Surely, huge physical costs, psychological stress?” In response, without any posing or languid rolling of the eyes: “No, everything works out easily...”, and sparkles with a smile! She managed to color her first role, the wild peasant woman Lipa in the film “Yar,” with ethnic poignancy and light eroticism. In Crime and Punishment, Polina succeeded in something that not every master can do - to match Dostoevsky’s complex language, and to bring out all the intricacies of internal contradictions. In the modern plot “Everyone will die, but I will stay,” the actress plays an infernal ninth-grader who, in a week of her life, has passed all possible thresholds of growing up. The story is permeated with the true nuances of teenage life and vocabulary, which Polina, together with the screenwriter, introduced into the film during filming. Filonenko was so reliable that after one show, 14-year-old boys promised to take revenge for her misadventures. The film became one of the most talked about in the fall of 2008, and collected awards in Cannes, Brussels and Munich. In 2009, Olympius Inferno was released, a film about the war in South Ossetia. Filming took place in Abkhazia, with the participation of people who survived their war, in real ruins. “You can’t beat them,” says Polina. But she herself was real - both in fire and under bullets.

Upcoming premieres: the melodrama “Love Without Rules,” where Polina starred with Alexander Domogarov, and the military drama “I’ll Be Back.”

Now Polina Filonenko is looking for new images. In addition to watercolors, more and more powerful colors appear in her palette. And to the question: “What are you really like?”, she answers: “I’m alone.” White stripe
I always knew that I would get into films not from episodic roles, but from the main ones. My first day of shooting was on the set of “Yar” by Marina Razbezhkina, and a week later - the first episodes of the series “Crime and Punishment”. I realized a long time ago that everything in my life is either bad or everything is good. Before these roles, everything was bad for me, and when they offered me two main roles at once, I realized: a “white streak” had begun. It was stupid to refuse this!

Wedding I'm not going to get married yet. If you get married, it means that you need to plan for a child soon - I think it’s too early. I’m also not very good at cooking, and I’m not ready to move away from mom and dad yet. If the wedding does happen, it will be in St. Petersburg, although my boyfriend says: we’ll go to the village. With a challenge I don't have a specific clothing style. I dress comfortably for filming: sneakers, trousers, jacket. I love high heels. I was a rapper at school. Then we had a very fashionable “Baltic Clan” - St. Petersburg musicians. Now all this is not very interesting, but then it was kitsch, a challenge. I went to school with my pants lowered, so that half of my butt was visible, and my jacket was short. I was called to the director and scolded. And I put on my brother's pants.

Personal life

Polina Filonenko’s personal life, one might say, was determined from childhood, from the moment she met a boy named Andrei. They had always been friends, but seven years ago their friendship turned into love and they have been together ever since. Polina’s young man is far from the acting profession, and this only makes her happy. She believes that a real man cannot be an actor, because they have a specific character.
