Elena Perova's childhood
Lena was born in Moscow.
She has always been independent. As a first-grader, the girl got up on her own in the morning, got ready and had breakfast without outside help, and went to school alone. Since her parents worked as musicians at the Satire Theater, she often disappeared there, mostly behind the scenes. As a schoolgirl, Lena participated in the filming of “Guest from the Future,” where Natalya Guseva played the main role. The director of the film is Pavel Arsenov. Perova played one of the roles there in the episode about the Spaceport.
In addition to school, the girl attended a music school. The parents took their daughter to Valentin Ovsyannikov’s group “Children’s World”, where Lena, along with other teenagers, was taught to sing. Later, Ovsyannikov’s group became a children’s theater studio, where they staged children’s musical performances. After a while, the three most gifted girls were singled out among everyone and they decided to create the “Lyceum” group.
The beginning of the career of singer Elena Perova, group “Lyceum”
The country saw the group “Lyceum” for the first time when it debuted in “Morning Star”. The girls sang a song by the group "ABVA". The start was successful, and soon everyone was talking about them. It only took a year to release the first album. It was called "House Arrest". Three girls in white shirts and blue jeans, playing guitars to hit tunes, sang. Their performances have always been distinguished by good and strong female vocals.
In 1994, when all the members of the group graduated from school, the Lyceum began touring a lot. At the same time, their next album, “Girlfriend Night,” was released.
Perova's solo performances
Elena was suspended from performing as part of the Lyceum in 1997. The reason was Elena’s violation of the terms of the contract. For some time after her dismissal, Perova performed with the A-Mega group. This collaboration did not last long. Already at the beginning of the millennium, she decided to perform solo. The former lyceum student released her album “Fly after the Sun.” A few years later, the second album was released. Lena wrote the words and music herself. As a creative person, she was always interested in the process of creating a song. Perova's songs can be classified as pop-rock.
Lena Perova now
Misfortunes still do not bypass the singer. In May 2017, Lena Perova broke her collarbone. The injury turned out to be complicated and required surgery. After surgery, the singer was in the Botkin hospital. Now her condition has returned to normal.
In 2020, Lena Perova became a participant in the “Tonight” special episode dedicated to the TV presenter of the “Morning Star” music competition, Yuri Nikolaev. The artist did not come to the studio for filming, but recorded a video message to her former colleagues and television viewers.
Elena Perova in the cinema
After her first experience of filming in films during her school years, Elena took part in filming for the second time already in 2002. It was the film “In Motion”, shot by Philip Yankovsky. Perova's heroine's name was Liza Kolesova. According to Elena, she fell in love with Lisa and the world that surrounded her. From time to time Perova watches the film, and she always feels sorry for her Liza. After this filming, she hoped that she would still have the opportunity to play in a film. And so it happened. Already in 2008, she began acting in one of the main roles in the TV series “Margosha”. Lena took part in three seasons.

Personal life
- In 1997-1998 According to information repeatedly expressed on her own behalf, Perova was married for a short time to the son of the Minister of the Coal Industry of the Government of the Russian Federation (name and surname are unknown; such a position does not exist in the Government of the Russian Federation).[9][40][41]
- In 2001-2002 was in a relationship with the administrator of the group “Zemlyane” Evgeny Kurbatov, who at that time was the producer of her solo rock project “Feathers” (composed of Chelyabinsk musicians).[10][11]
- There is a widespread belief about her bisexual orientation and, in connection with this, lesbian relationships with women, which she herself does not deny.[40]
- As of 2020, not married, no children.
Perova in the show “The Last Hero”
Elena wanted some adventure, so when she received an offer to participate in “The Last Hero,” she immediately agreed. Coincidentally, during this period Perova had a rehearsal period in Moscow, and she could well have been away for the duration of the project.
As the singer recalls, since childhood she had a dream of going on a hike, where everyone would eat from a common cauldron around the fire. She didn’t even think about the prize for winning the show; that was not the purpose of her participation. I wanted to reach the end not for the sake of victory, but in order to prove to myself that I could overcome a lot.
Elena recalls that the most difficult thing was that they had no information about what was happening in the world, they had no idea what time it was, what they looked like, and so on. I wanted to sleep all the time, as there was often torrential tropical rain at night.
Living on the island, according to the terms of the project, the participants more than once experienced attacks of claustrophobia, despite the fact that they were surrounded by the sea, the sun was shining, and there was the sky above their heads.
Due to the fact that there was always not enough food for the participants of “The Last Hero,” it seemed that upon returning to Moscow, Elena would eat a lot of everything. But it turned out that during the life on the island the body got used to a small amount of food, the stomach contracted, and time passed before it stretched to its previous size. “Zhor” began only a month after returning.
Vladimir Presnyakov, Larisa Verbitskaya, Vera Glagoleva, Elena Proklova and other celebrities also took part in this show.
Hard fall: What happened to ex-soloist of “Lyceum” Lena Perova. Nobody expected this!
A well-known TV presenter, actress and singer who performed in the popular groups “Lyceum” and “Amega”, Lena Perova has not appeared in gossip columns for several years.
Concerned journalists contacted the artist to find out how she was, reported News in the World

The last time Perova’s name was on the tabloid headlines was in 2014 due to her hospitalization. If you open Wikipedia, significant events in the life and career of the performer date back to the same period. And then - silence.
It is extremely rare that Perova posts her selfies on Instagram, so most often in her microblog there are comments of this kind - “Lenochka, where have you gone.” Reporters called the artist and asked what she was doing away from the bustling crowd.
“At the moment, I have put my musical career on pause. This does not mean that I have decided to completely abandon it. It’s just that for the last ten years I have devoted myself to the media sphere – radio and television,” Perova explained her disappearance.
Elena hastened to reassure her worried admirers, assuring that she was not sitting idle.
“Currently I’m working at Children’s Radio on an educational project. Unfortunately, I cannot disclose the details, but in the fall you will find out about everything yourself,” the artist promised.
Life has separated Perova from other “lyceum students”.
“I don’t communicate with my former colleagues in the group - Isolde and Nastya. We have no common ground,” the website Woman.ru quotes the 90s star.
At the end of the conversation, Elena made it clear to the sharks of the pen that she was happy with the way her life had turned out.
“Everything is fine with me: both in work and in my personal life,” the performer reported.
Let us remember that young people went crazy for the Lyceum team in the late 90s. The group’s hits “Trace on the Water”, “Autumn”, “Cloud Engine” and “Stranger” sounded from every iron. Anastasia Makarevich, Izolda Ishkhanishvili and Lena Perova actively toured until the latter quarreled with the group’s producer and quit. The second wave of popularity came to Perova when she performed in the pop group Amega. In 2002, Elena became one of the most prominent participants in the show “The Last Hero”.
