A native Muscovite, Katya, was born on December 6, 1990 into a creative family. Her father, an engineer by profession, owns his own business, writes beautiful poetry and is interested in photography. Mom is a talented phytodesigner.
Katya's childhood was very eventful. The girl grew up in an atmosphere of love and care and from a young age delighted her parents with her extraordinary abilities. At the age of one year and 8 months she could already read, so at the age of 2 she began to study English. At the age of five, the bilingual girl became interested in music and dancing. At the age of fourteen, Katya received her first role - the Young Girl from the TV series “Club”, the same girl who in every episode tried to break through the security of the establishment in every possible way: either she asked to be carried in a box, or she dressed up as a policeman.
A scientific and entertainment trip on a boat helped her get into the project - among the local animators there was a girl who later was involved in the selection of actors for the “Club”. She herself contacted Katya and invited her to the casting.
This was followed by roles in the series “Adult Games”, “Stepmom”, “Detectives”, “Women’s Stories”, “Law and Order”. By school graduation, the young actress’s portfolio already included about a dozen roles. With such a solid background, it was not difficult for her to become a student at the production department of VGIK and graduate with success.
While studying at VGIK, she had the opportunity to study in London, at the Lamda Theater Academy, whose graduates included Kim Cattrall, Donald Sutherland and Benedict Cumberbatch. Thanks to her perfect knowledge of English, she participated in Shakespeare's plays in the original and even thought about staying in the UK, but she got bored and decided to return.
In Moscow, Katya continued her acting education and entered Nikita Mikhalkov’s AKTI, which she successfully graduated in 2020. At the same time, she got a job as a DJ at the CapitalFM radio station and acted as a producer of the film “The Habit of Parting” with Liza Boyarskaya and Danila Kozlovsky in the lead roles. The girl worked on the radio for three years, but left due to a crazy schedule, which she really regrets.
By 2020, Kabak had accumulated about thirty film roles and two successful production projects.

Woman.ru: When did you realize that you wanted to connect your life with cinema and television?
K.K.: This happened while working on “The Club”. Because of the filming process, I had to sleep little and do homework either at night or on the way to school. But this did not affect my mood in any way.
“Adrenaline was pulsating inside me - I tried to improve, to do everything and even more. Then I realized that this is my life’s work - it gives me the necessary boost of energy. Today I know for sure that I can no longer live without a film set.”
Woman.ru: In your future career, did you easily get rid of the image of a Young Girl? Or is it impossible to say that he “glued” to you?
K.K.: Just yes, I can’t say that he stuck to me very much. Perhaps only the security guards and face control officers had a blast with me every time I appeared on the threshold of a nightclub. They asked: “Will I be the first to let you into the club?” or “Girl, you are not passing today!” There were all sorts of jokes about this topic, but since I'm a rare guest in nightclubs, it didn't bother me too much.
Woman.ru: What priorities have you set all these years?
K.K: I learned to say “no” and realized that it is important to do what you really like. You need to be honest with yourself, and this is so hard. I'm not even talking about situations when parents or loved ones interfere in your affairs with their opinions and place their hopes on you. Fortunately, I never had this - my parents always gave me freedom of choice. But due to the fact that I am a very curious and enthusiastic person, I was periodically led astray.
I worked as a producer and released the film “The Habit of Parting” with Liza Boyarskaya, Danila Kozlovsky, Petya Fedorov, Artur Smolyaninov. For three years she worked as a radio presenter in a morning show and at the same time acted. But at some point, my health and strength were no longer enough, and I realized that I needed to prioritize. I listened to myself and now I’m doing what I love with all my heart.
Woman.ru: You became the host of the “General Cleaning” show on “Friday!”, for which we congratulate you! Do you like the work in this project?
K.K: I love the Friday TV channel! and I sincerely believe that the future lies with him. I like the people who work there, their creative and innovative approach to business, so I gladly agreed to become part of this team.
“I love working on the show “Spring Cleaning” because there is magic in it. We come to the homes of people who have had something go wrong in their lives, a breakdown has occurred, and we put things in order in their house, which leads to order in their heads. And the sparkle and joy that I see in the eyes of our heroes are worth a lot.”
They feel that they have gotten rid of a big burden and can begin a new stage of their life. It's priceless. And, of course, I am very interested in trying myself in a new role and format that is unusual for me.
