But this time it didn’t turn out to be the winner; Nyusha only made it to the final part and took 7th place. In addition to participating in the new wave, Nyusha’s year was also marked by the recording of the final song for the Russian dubbing of the Walt Disney film “Enchanted”.
But Nyusha did not give up, especially since she had strong support from her parents, and in 2009, Nyusha’s debut single entitled “Howling at the Moon” was presented to the general public. This was already a serious bid for universal fame; the song “Howling at the Moon” was awarded the honor of becoming the winner of the “Song of the Year 2009” award. Already at the beginning of next year, a new composition “Don’t Interrupt” was released and it became the most popular hit sung in Russian in April 2010. This single was also nominated for the Muz-TV 2010 award in the rather interesting category “Breakthrough of the Year”.
