In March 2007, the selection committee of Channel One sent the unknown group Serebro to represent Russia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2007[4], where they performed the song “Song #1” and took third place[5]. “Song #1” topped the Russian radio chart[6], and also managed to get into the national charts of Switzerland[7], Sweden[8] and other countries. In the same year, the first Russian-language and second single “Breathe” was released, which peaked at No. 2 in the official Russian radio chart[9]. At the end of the year, Serebro won in the categories “Best Debut” at the MTV Russia Music Awards and “Best Selling Russian Artist” at the World Music Awards.

In 2008, the singles “Opium” and “Say Don’t Be Silent” were released, which both topped the Russian radio chart[10][11]. The band's debut album was expected to be released that same year, but it took place in 2009. The record, called “OpiumRoz”, was presented on Poklonnaya Hill and attracted about 70,000 spectators[12]. The album included 11 compositions, including 4 previously released singles, as well as Temnikova’s solo song “Dust of Angels”, written by Maxim Fadeev and Lyudmila Voynalovich.

In 2009, with an updated lineup, Serebro released the song “Sladko,” which also topped the Russian radio chart[13], becoming the group’s fourth No. 1. A week later, the English version of the track was presented, which became the first single from the upcoming second studio album. In 2010, the mini-album “Favorites” was released, which included both versions of the track, as well as the English-language singles “Sexing You” and “Angel Kiss”, which were also released in Russian under the titles “Not Time” and “Let’s Hold Hands” . In 2011, the group signed a contract with the Italian label “Ego”, which released the lead single “Mama Lover” from the upcoming album of the same name, and later the Russian version of “Mama Lyuba” was released. The peak position of the song in the Russian radio chart was No. 8[14], which was the worst result for Serebro on this chart, but nevertheless the single became widely popular after the release of the video and was presented in the “Song of the Year” and “Video of the Year” nominations for “ Muz-TV Awards 2012". Also for the first time for the band, the track entered the national charts of Belgium and Italy and peaked at No. 6 in both countries[15][16] and was able to get into Billboard

    Elena Temnikova: biography

Elena Temnikova is a Russian singer, participant in the music show “Star Factory 2”, ex-soloist of the group “Serebro”, in which she took third place at the international Eurovision 2007 competition. Since 2014, she has been developing a solo career and created her own music label BY TEMNIKOVA.

The biography of Elena Temnikova originates in the provincial Russian town of Kurgan. The girl grew up active and interested in creativity, studied in various children's clubs, and teachers did not have time to praise the future star for her academic success.

From the age of 4, the girl was already interested in music and attended karate courses. In addition, she painted and sculpted, embroidered and knitted, and also learned to play the violin. These passions were encouraged and supported by their parents. From childhood, they taught the child independence, the ability to take responsibility and make decisions. All this had an impact in the future, as Elena became a determined and purposeful person.

As an adult, Temnikova repeatedly recalled with gratitude and nostalgia in interviews that it was her parents who became for her the example to which she pays attention throughout her life.

    Elena Temnikova in childhood

The peak of Elena Temnikova’s young creativity took place at the age of ten, when the girl began performing and rehearsing. She has won regional and all-Russian music competitions, and she finished school well, and her hobby did not interfere with her studies. Elena did not complete her studies at the music school, but moved to Valery Chigintsev’s vocal studio.

The turning point for the girl was December 2002, when Elena Temnikova took first place in a regional vocal competition and was sent to conquer Moscow, where Temnikova also took the Grand Prix.

A few months later, the young singer finally moved to the Russian capital and planned to enter a theater higher education institution in the PR department. Then Elena accidentally found out about a new casting for the popular project “Star Factory”. The girl appeared before the jury on the last day of selection and entered the show.

    Personal life

In December 2009, rumors spread on the Internet that the lead singer of the Serebro group, Elena Temnikova, was leaving the band[41]. One version of the departure was an affair with composer Artyom Fadeev, the brother of producer Maxim Fadeev, who forced Lena to refuse further work in the group[42]. On November 30, a casting for a vocalist was announced on the group’s official website[43]. Subsequently, Elena admitted that the news about her affair with Artyom was a PR stunt invented by Maxim Fadeev[44].

The first husband, Alexey Aleksandrovich Semyonov (born September 11, 1975, Gorky (now Nizhny Novgorod)), met Elena on the project “Star Factory 2”[45]. Formally, they were married for 6 years, but for the last 4 years they actually did not live together.

In 2014, she married Dmitry Yuryevich Sergeev (born October 4, 1981, Novosibirsk), the head of an IT company. On March 27, 2015, the couple had a daughter, Alexandra.

    Dmitry Sergeev now

In 2020, on the 38th birthday of her husband, who, according to rumors, is now producing her other half and occasionally accompanies her at social events, Elena could not resist touching congratulations on social networks. The post caused a flurry of enthusiastic comments from fans.

A month before the new year 2020, fans, excited by the cancellation of their favorite concerts, noticed the excessive roundness of her stomach and hastened to put forward the theory that she was expecting a second child. But the singer nipped the rumors in the bud, saying that she had simply gained weight.

A beautiful wedding, a strong family, a reliable husband and a long-awaited, beloved child - every girl dreams of this, and Elena Temnikova is no exception. Her “candy-bouquet period” with businessman and future second husband Dmitry Sergeev was short, but full of passion and unearthly love. Soon after meeting, the couple decides to legalize their relationship. And they do it in an unconventional way - the lovers fly to the Maldives, where the two of them, without witnesses, have a romantic wedding on the ocean shore.

Beautiful photos from Elena Temnikova’s wedding soon spread throughout all the glossy publications. The bride in an elegant, long dress the color of heavenly azure and the happy groom in a snow-white outfit. Once upon a time, a modest girl from a provincial Ural town could not even dream of such a thing!

Elena Temnikova is not shy about demonstrating her love for her husband in front of everyone

Not much is known about Temnikova’s second husband, Dmitry Sergeev. He is 33 years old, he comes from Novosibirsk, and has a higher legal education. For a long time, Sergeev lived in Germany, where he successfully developed his business. He married successfully, was happy in his marriage and became the father of three beautiful children.

Elena Temnikova's second husband, before meeting the singer, was a wonderful family man

Suddenly... Once on TV they played a video of the popular group “Serebro” - “You Are Not Enough.” Dmitry saw Elena - and, as they say, disappeared. Fell in love like a boy, forgetting about his wife and children. Having studied the group’s tour schedule, Sergeev persistently seeks a meeting with Temnikova, showering her with bouquets, but has not yet decided to meet her.

Dmitry Sergeev admits that Temnikova is his “dream girl”

They are introduced by mutual friends on Valentine's Day. After talking incessantly for several hours in a row, Sergeev and Temnikova understand that this is fate. Later, the singer’s future husband admitted that he simply “drowned in her eyes.” A painful period of separation began: he was in Europe, she was in Russia, on tour... There was only one way to end this nightmare: by tying the knot, which the couple hastened to do. True, for a long time Temnikova remained silent about her new, married status and carefully hid her husband from journalists.
