Face (Ivan Dremin) was born on April 8, 1997 in Ufa. Soon the parents divorced. The mother, according to the rapper, was diagnosed with schizophrenia. In the 90s, his father was engaged in trade, now he does odd jobs, and in 2019, apparently under the influence of his son, he started a Youtube channel, where he shares his opinions about his colleagues. Older brother Bogdan is the creative director of Face.
At school, Vanya “grabbed” twos and threes, and had conflicts with teachers and classmates. In addition to general education, he studied at a music school, which he changed to a sports school, and wrote poetry. As he grew older, Dremin became involved with a bandit company that robbed passers-by, tried to sell drugs, for which he became a guest at police stations.
Attempts to enter universities to major in tourism were unsuccessful. To prevent the guy from getting into trouble again, his father sent him to his grandmother in another area of the city. Ivan went to Pharaoh’s concert and realized that the stage was what he needed.

After finishing his studies at the local lyceum, Ivan was going to become a university student, but he did not get enough points on the Unified State Examination in order to enter the budget. The parents did not have the money to pay for their son’s studies, so the young man had to get a job.
Quite soon, Ivan realized that he was not satisfied with such a life, he decided to quit and then get serious about music. Before gaining fame, he often had problems with the law.
Personal life
Fans who are interested in Ivan’s personal life were haunted by the heroine of the songs named Lisa. Elizaveta Semina really exists. Face was in love with a girl who studied in a parallel class at school, unfortunately, not mutually.
Having become famous, the rapper had no shortage of fans. Free morals were put to an end by a new friend, Maryana Rozhkova, also known as blogger Maryana Ro. Before Dremin, the girl dated her Internet colleague Ivan Rudsky (Ivangay). Face saw a sad video on her Instagram about the couple’s separation, and wrote a few encouraging lines.

Face loved music since childhood, became interested in the work of “The King and the Jester”, Zemfira, the groups Slipknot and Rammstein, and he himself decided to try his hand at rap. Bogdan did not like the first pseudonym of the musician Punk Face. He suggested taking the nickname Face, which is translated into Russian as “face” and perfectly reflects the diversity and diversity of the owner’s creative views and preferences. In addition, the rapper appeared on stage under the names Lil Montana and Black Forest.
Face released the first album of 6 songs in his creative biography in 2015. The most popular was the composition “Gosha Rubchinsky”. The clip, according to the musician, cost 200 rubles, but this did not stop it from collecting millions of views on social networks and brought Dremin his first fans. Gosha himself, a popular clothing designer, became an example and source of inspiration.

For his first solo concert in Kirov, Ivan did not receive a fee, and even got to the place by taxi. Three subsequent performances brought in 3 thousand rubles. And in Moscow the incredible happened: 2 concerts - and half a million “wooden” ones.
This money was enough to attract the American director, creator of the Lyrical Lemonade channel for promoting hip-hop, Cole Bennett, to film the “I don’t give a fuck” video. Following this, the album Revenge and the single “Flow”, recorded together with rappers Markul and Yanix, were presented to the public.
The performer created the Hate love album with 17 tracks during a difficult period in his life. Face suffered from panic attacks and was on antidepressants.
After a while, Ivan Dremin managed to once again conquer Russian-language YouTube with the song “I’m Dropping the West.” The name has become a kind of meme, popular in the rap community. The next hit was the composition “Believe” on the theme of mercantile relations, a collaboration with Yanix (Yanis Badurov).
The album No Love, released in the fall of 2017, was ahead of the album by the group “Mushrooms” in terms of the number of reposts on the social network VKontakte. In the tour that followed, Face performed in 33 cities of Russia, giving a concert a day, and earned more than 6 million rubles. But this amount was “wasted on clothes, security, parties” and other attributes of star life. By that time, Bogdan was left without work, and the brothers moved to Moscow.
The album “Inscrutable Paths” turned out to be different from previous creations. Face touched on issues of morality, corruption, poverty and even the past World Cup. The author received favorable ratings from Oksimiron.
It is worth noting that not everyone is ready to perceive Dremin’s music. The guy is accused of poor language, the presence of profanity, but the performer’s audience is very young. It was not without reason that his concerts were canceled; drug control and the police came backstage.

Face's new hairstyle
However, it is a big mistake to think that Face is a limited drug addict. Ivan said that he realized his responsibility to his fans when he saw 3-year-old toddlers humming, albeit unconsciously, his songs. And, according to the rapper’s former manager, his compositions are mostly banter. Dremin is not at all like their heroes.
In 2018, the Instagram administration temporarily blocked the artist’s account, deeming one photo obscene, which, by the way, was staged.
