Childhood

Misha Marvin was born in the picturesque city of Chernivtsi (Ukraine), where he spent his childhood. He was an ordinary boy, the only thing that distinguished him from most of his peers was his sincere love of music and the desire to use his capabilities to the maximum.

Mikhail studied at one of the schools in Chernivtsi and already at that time showed himself to be a creative person. After graduating from school in 2006, he moved to Kyiv to make his way into show business there, in the capital. To realize his dream, Mikhail decided to get a professional education, and therefore entered the Academy of Executive Personnel of Culture and Arts (Department of Musicology).

At 30 years old, Misha is still single, but already dreams of a family and children. Unlike many artists, he does not have a reputation as a ladies' man, and talks little about his personal life. In his interviews, Misha Marvin often recalls a failed relationship with a girl from Vladivostok.

At that time he worked in karaoke. She was from a wealthy family and moved to Kyiv for his sake. But after a few months of living together, the couple broke up. The reason was domestic disagreements, Misha’s inability to give her the standard of living to which she was accustomed with her salary.

He took the breakup hard, but after years these memories ceased to be painful. When asked if he could date an actress, Misha replies that he had such an experience and it was not an easy one. Artists have irregular work schedules, constant tours, and little free time.

Such a life irritates both, and the relationship collapses. He wouldn't want to repeat this. Misha would like to see a non-public girl next to him. But, at the same time, it does not exclude getting into such a situation again.

In the fall of 2020, rumors began to circulate about his affair with singer Nazima. In October, the artist wrote on his Instagram that he was going to Kazakhstan to meet the singer’s parents. There they filmed a video for the song “I’m Yours,” where Marvel took part in the title role.

It was the composition “Super Song”, and, by the way, although the musician himself is embarrassed to remember this period of creativity, the song was even taken into rotation by a couple of music channels. But soon they decided to stop the group. Simultaneously with the collapse of the group, Marvin was expelled from the third year of the academy after another failed session. The activities of the group and active music studies took up most of the guy’s time with music, and he simply did not have time to prepare for the exams.

In 2013, Misha wrote a couple of songs with a friend, who sold them the next day for a thousand dollars. The same friend introduced Misha Marvin to Pavel Kuryanov, director of the Black Star Inc. label, who offered cooperation to the ambitious young man.

To begin with, Misha Marvin helped with the preparation of singer Hannah’s album. Subsequently, the song “Being Modest is Out of Fashion,” the lyrics of which were written by Mikhail, firmly entered the young singer’s repertoire.

Next, Marvin and other team members worked on Yegor Creed’s album “The Bachelor”. Mikhail also co-authored the famous hits of Nathan, Mota and a number of other performers. Mikhail Marvin tries to avoid questions about his personal life, although the paparazzi are persistently trying to find out information on this particular topic. Biography

Mikhailo Mikhailovich Reshetnyak (Misha Marvin) is a native of Western Ukraine from the city of Chernivtsi. Born in 1989, July 15. The musician’s height is 176 cm, weight is 72 kg. The young man is athletic, keeps fit, and practices choreography so that he can easily improvise on stage and filming video clips. At the dawn of his creative activity, the artist tried to secure the pseudonym Mike Bays, but soon abandoned it, replacing it with another. He left his own name in a shortened version and took the stage name Marvin.

The future musician spent his childhood and school years in Chernivtsi. Here, since 1996, he studied at secondary school No. 5, and also, under the influence of his parents, mastered the basics of vocal art. The kindergarten teacher recommended sending the boy to music lessons. Misha shone at the matinees, already performing some songs. As a teenager, I took part in the “I want to become a star” competition, which turned out to be successful and productive. The young man not only reached the final, but also won. The achievement became a landmark in Mikhail’s life, and the dream of becoming famous as a musician and singer seemed even more realistic.

Mikhail grew up in a large family. His sister is 5 years older than Misha. In adulthood, she also chose a creative career, becoming a singer. In 2018, artist Tatyana Reshetnyak, under the pseudonym Tayana, fought for the right to represent Ukraine at the Eurovision Song Contest.

Having received a certificate of secondary education, Reshetnyak set off to conquer the Ukrainian capital. He entered the Kyiv State Academy of Management Personnel of Culture and Arts. The professional education that Mikhail planned to acquire at the Faculty of Musicology served, in the student’s opinion, as a springboard into show business.

A talented young man begins to write original lyrics for songs, and also becomes part of a local musical group called “Pavliki International”. A trio of youngsters are trying to pave the way to the Olympus of show business, performing simple compositions, which nevertheless sometimes became the object of attention and rotation on the radio.

The founder of the group and producer was People's Artist of Ukraine Viktor Pavlik. The guys occasionally performed at events and in clubs, wrote new songs, and shot video clips for the best of them.

Only “Super Song” became in demand to some extent; the successful video cost the team $300 and was broadcast on music channels for several weeks. However, more successful projects did not work out, the group lost interest among the public and was soon closed. The collapse of the team took place even though the participants led a busy social life, responded to any invitations and were leaders of the Maestro football club.

Due to frequent absences and failures at the 3rd year session, Marvin was expelled from the Academy. But this event did not break the will of the musician, who by that time had already finally decided on his future profession. Misha began writing songs to sell for other performers. It was not possible to become a popular author right away, so in order to ensure a normal standard of living, Misha worked part-time as a presenter in Kyiv clubs.

Low earnings were compensated by communication with a huge number of creative people. It was during the work process that I met Pavel Kuryanov, who held the position of CEO of Black Star Inc. The guy received an offer to collaborate in writing lyrics for new compositions by various artists representing the label. The young author wrote many songs for the singer Hannah, who is the wife of Kuryanov, Nathan and Mot. He became a co-author of almost all of Yegor Creed's albums.

Marvin did not stop at being an author. For how many years he dreamed of solo performances, so he was not going to give up making his cherished desire come true. Since 2020, Misha returned to vocals and began recording his first tracks.
