Fang Xing Long (Chan Kon San, Chen Gansheng (Mand.) Chan Kongsan (Cant.)) - was born in Hong Kong on April 7, 1954. Jackie Chan was born on April 7, 1954 into a poor family living in Hong Kong.

His father, Charles Chan, was from the Anhui province of China. His first wife died of cancer at a young age, and he was left alone with two young sons Shi De and Shi Sheng (these are Jackie Chan's paternal brothers, they later became beggars and died in poverty). Charles worked at the port, where he inspected passenger belongings. One day he discovered opium in the luggage of Lily's girlfriend. He wanted to arrest her, however, after listening to the story of her difficult fate, Charles Chan took pity on her and let her go. This is how Jackie Chan's parents met for the first time.

With the outbreak of the civil war in China, Charles, who supported nationalist views, left his sons and fled persecution to Shanghai. A girl lived here, whom he released at the port. Charles found her at the address and at first hid with Lily.

Jackie Chan's mother also has a difficult fate. Her parents married her off early to a shoemaker they liked. The girl gave birth to two daughters. But during the war, her husband died, and she was left alone with two little children on the brink of poverty. Having heard that they pay good money for transporting opium, out of desperation the young woman took a risk. They were lucky enough to find work at the American consulate on Victoria Peak, then they worked in the residence of the French consul. Lily was a maid, and Charles did a lot of work in the garden and around the house. The salary was then $120, and to get at least a little more, Charles asked to teach him cooking. As a result, he became an excellent cook and worked as a cook for a long time.

A year later, Chan came to his parents in Australia. There he went to study at Dixon College. While there were no acting offers, Chan worked at a construction site.
