And they will not help us. - So what should we do now? – I asked mentally “chattering my teeth”. – Remember when you showed me your first monsters, you hit them with a green beam? – Once again, her eyes sparkling mischievously (again, she came to her senses faster than me!), Stella asked cheerfully. - Let's go together?.. I realized that, fortunately, she was still going to give up. And I decided to try, because we still had nothing to lose... But we didn’t have time to hit, because at that moment the spider stopped abruptly and we, feeling a strong push, plopped down to the ground with all our might... Apparently, he dragged us to him home much earlier than we expected... We found ourselves in a very strange room (if, of course, you could call it that). It was dark inside and there was complete silence... There was a strong smell of mold, smoke and the bark of some unusual tree. And only from time to time some faint sounds were heard, similar to groans. As if the “sufferers” no longer had any strength left... – Can’t you shed some light on this? – I asked Stella quietly. “I’ve already tried, but for some reason it doesn’t work...” the little girl answered in the same whisper. And immediately a tiny light lit up right in front of us. “That’s all I can do here.” – The girl sighed sadly. In such dim, meager lighting, she looked very tired and as if she had matured. I kept forgetting that this amazing miracle child was just nothing - five years old! She is still a very tiny girl, who should have been terribly scared at the moment. But she endured everything courageously, and was even planning to fight... - Look who’s here? – the little girl whispered. And peering into the darkness, I saw strange “shelves” on which people were lying, as if in a dryer. – Mom?.. Is that you, mom??? – a surprised thin voice whispered quietly. - How did you find us? At first I didn’t understand that the child was addressing me. And I thought that she was absolutely right. We were both just children who, without thinking, embarked on very life-threatening journeys, and now did not know how to get out of it all. Suddenly Stella removed our superimposed “images” and we became ourselves again. - Oh, where’s mom? Who are you?... What did you do to mom?! – the boy hissed indignantly. - Well, bring her back immediately! I really liked his fighting spirit, bearing in mind the hopelessness of our situation. “The thing is, your mother wasn’t here,” Stella whispered quietly. – We met your mother where you “failed” here from. They are very worried about you because they cannot find you, so we offered to help. But, as you can see, we were not careful enough, and ended up in the same terrible situation... - How long have you been here? Do you know what they will do to us? – trying to speak confidently, I asked quietly. - We recently... He brings new people all the time, and sometimes small animals, and then they disappear, and he brings new ones. I looked at Stella in horror: “This is a very real, real world, and a very real danger!.. This is no longer the innocent beauty that we created!.. We came closer - none of the people showed signs of life... - They were completely pumped out! – Stella was horrified. – They don’t even have a drop of vitality left!.. That’s it, let’s run away!!! We rushed as hard as we could, somewhere to the side, absolutely not knowing where we were running, just to get away from all this blood-freezing horror... Without even thinking that we might get into the same or even worse situation again , horror... Suddenly it suddenly became dark. Blue-black clouds rushed across the sky, as if driven by a strong wind, although there was no wind yet. In the depths of the black clouds, dazzling lightning blazed, the peaks of the mountains blazed with a red glow... And then, somehow, our cemetery appeared again, where, on the same bench, our grandmothers were sitting side by side... - Do you want to show me something?... - Stella asked quietly. And suddenly, instead of the grandmothers, incredibly beautiful, brightly shining beings appeared... Both had stunning stars sparkling on their chests, and Stella’s grandmother had an amazing miracle crown sparkling and shimmering on her head...
Personal life
From birth, Drew lived with her mother, who signed filming contracts for her minor daughter and spent the money she earned with all her might. Ildiko Jad herself, or Jade, as she called herself in the American manner, was not looking for a job.
As a teenager, Drew demanded an account of the amounts received from producers. She soon realized that they were no longer there, and her mother continued to manage her finances. The girl filed a petition in court to leave guardianship and won the case. At 15 she became independent. Their relationship with Jade finally deteriorated when the woman put her daughter's children's things up for online auction in 1995 in order to make money.
Drew had little contact with her father. In 2004, John Barrymore completely moved away from his family and lived in a hotel. He had cancer and his daughter was paying the medical bills for treatment. He died soon after.
Drew Barrymore's first childhood love was Emilio Estevez, Charlie Sheen's brother. The girl made entries in her diary and indicated the dates of all meetings with the handsome blond. At the age of 19, she met the owner of a Los Angeles trendy restaurant, Jeremy Thomas, and quickly married him. The marriage did not last even 2 months.
The second marriage in 2001 with comedian Tom Green turned out to be equally short-lived - less than a year. Drew was busy with work and not particularly family-oriented. Her friends Lucy Liu and Cameron Diaz, who played with her in the film Charlie's Angels, were of the same opinion.
After the second divorce, the actress was in no hurry to get married again, although she became engaged to actor Justin Long. Their romance lasted several years and ended in 2011, when Drew became interested in art consultant Will Kopelman. She told reporters that she had met her man and was finally going to be happy.
They got married in 2012, and in the fall of the same year, the couple had a daughter, Olive. In 2014, the family expanded with a second girl, Frankie. Drew Barrymore recognizes his ability to quickly fall in love with someone and just as quickly cool down.
Unfortunately, this does not allow her to have long-term relationships with partners. In 2020, Barrymore and Kopelman divorced, but remained friends for the sake of their children.
