Valery Zolotukhin, a famous Soviet-Russian theater and film actor, came to the profession after overcoming a serious illness. He became famous not only for his legendary roles, but also for his scandalous love affairs, which he did not hide from his wives and journalists. Zolotukhin stood at the origins of the creation of Taganka and, together with it, experienced its glory and fall.

Valery was born in the Altai village of Bystry Istok on June 21, 1941 in the family of the chairman of the collective farm Sergei Illarionovich and Matryona Fedoseevna Zolotukhin . The child’s artistic abilities manifested themselves before he began to realize himself: from the age of 3, the boy “earned money” by singing: he sang songs he heard from his mother, for which his fellow villagers treated him to honey and milk.
At the age of 6 years, he received a knee injury (fell from the stairs from a height of the 2nd floor), which led to the development of osteomyelitis. The boy spent 3 years of his life bedridden in a tuberculosis sanatorium far from his parents. Then he began to walk on crutches, which he got rid of only in his senior year, thanks to an iron will and a great desire to become an actor. But the limp remained for life.

The trouble with Zolotukhin happened when he was 7 years old. He accidentally fell from a 2nd floor window and broke his knee. But the doctor made the wrong diagnosis and the boy was put in plaster on his entire leg. Incorrect treatment had tragic consequences - bone tuberculosis. Until the 8th grade, Valery Zolotukhin could move exclusively on crutches.

He stoically endured the ridicule of his classmates and dreamed of what seemed like an impossible dream: to become an artist. After graduating from school, Valery Zolotukhin, a simple village guy with a bad leg, set off to conquer Moscow. He chose the legendary GITIS, and the operetta department. It was probably a miracle, but Zolotukhin was accepted.

The 27-year-old son of the great actor Valery Zolotukhin, Sergei, hanged himself on the threshold of his apartment, where he lived with his girlfriend. According to preliminary data, death occurred approximately 3 hours before the discovery of the body, from asphyxia, due to compression of the victim’s neck with a rope.
Sergei Zolotukhin
“When his girlfriend Katya came home in the evening, at first she even thought that he was scaring her and simply pretended to be hanged,” Sergei’s friend Artur Atsalamov, leader of the “Dead Dolphins” group, tells AiF, “But when she touched him, Then I understood everything and began to call for help.”
“Yes, he had nervous breakdowns,” Arthur continues. — He could have disappeared somewhere and not picked up the phone. But this is normal for a creative person. Sergei was a thinking guy. No one could ever say that he was capable of suicide. He was a God-fearing man. I talked with him very often about God, the soul, and religion. We philosophized. Naturally, they also talked about the afterlife. Sergei respected religious commandments and knew that any sin was punishable. To be honest, yesterday’s action left me in severe shock. When I found out about what happened, I immediately thought: maybe they helped him? But already in the apartment, when I saw the hook, the situation around, felt the whole atmosphere, I realized that I still did it myself. That day his girlfriend called him from work, and he talked to her quite normally. There were no signs of tragedy. Sergei was absolutely a non-drinker. He played in our group for four years. During this time, the group toured quite a lot, and Sergei and I drank at most 3-4 bottles of beer. He didn't smoke.
In general, Sergei has recently very often said that he was tired, that he was tired of everyone and asked to leave him alone. But he didn’t leave any suicide note. There were no farewell phrases, not even hints. I just took it and left. No comments.
True, four days ago one of the capital’s TV channels made a film about us. Then I noticed how Sergei answered the reporter’s questions in a strange way.
Sergei loved his father very much. Information appeared that he was his step-son. I don't think this is true. They even look similar. One person! Sergei loved his father, and he loved him. Relations between them have always been warm. As far as I know, Valery Zolotukhin did not spare anything for his son.
Valery Zolotukhin himself now refuses to communicate with the press.
Raised in the family of an actor, the young man was interested in music from childhood. Fascinated by jazz, he studied diligently for 10-11 hours a day, while forgetting about food. Soon, diagnosed with exhaustion, Sergei ended up in the hospital and gave up jazz, writes Rosbalt news agency.
Sergei continued his creative search at the institute, studying for the specialty “director of commercials,” but lost interest in this even before the start of the first session. The musician came to the craft of drumming with the help of his girlfriend, to whom he decided to prove his professional worth. Zolotukhin met the bass guitarist of “Dead Dolphins” Sasha Pomaraev and gradually joined the young team.
The musicians of the Dead Dolphins group, where Sergei Zolotukhin was a drummer, learned about the tragedy from police officers. “I saw him last Friday, we had a concert, and nothing foreshadowed trouble then,” says the band’s 28-year-old bass player Alexander Pomaraev. “I can’t understand why he did this,” Alexander shares. – It’s absurd to talk about conflicts in the family. Sergei adored both his famous father and mother. They often called each other, met, they are a wonderful, prosperous family.”
A teammate suggests that Sergei could have been pushed to commit suicide by the fact that “Dead Dolphins” had neither serious defeats nor real successes. Sergei studied music for four hours every day, but there was still no success.
The young man’s body was discovered at about seven o’clock in the evening by his girlfriend Ekaterina Ryagudova. According to one version, the young man hanged himself on a chandelier hook, according to another, on a door frame.
After some time, a squad from the nearest police department rushed to Profsoyuznaya, doctors and criminologists appeared. Sergei’s parents, Valery and Tamara Zolotukhin, also arrived. They told the police that shortly before the tragedy they talked with their son, and could not imagine what awaited them.
The reasons for Sergei's suicide will have to be established by the investigation (there is practically no doubt that it was suicide - the door to the apartment was locked from the inside). Sergei did not leave a suicide note. And so far none of his relatives and friends can guess what exactly made the quite successful son of famous parents die so unexpectedly.
“Dead Dolphins” is a Russian rock band that appeared during military operations in Grozny on September 2, 1996. Its founder is Arthur Atsalamov (Grozny). In October 2000, the group signed a contract with one of the Moscow recording companies and began preparing their debut album under the working title “Screams of Dead Dolphins.” However, work was interrupted on December 25 due to the death of the band's bass player. In August 2001, the group made its debut at the “Invasion” festival. In December 2003, Dead Dolphins released the album Dandelions for Canaries.
NEWSmusic.ru expresses its condolences to Sergei's friends and relatives.

Movies
The cinematic biography of Valery Zolotukhin begins in 1965. Director Vladimir Nazarov invited the young actor to his film “Package”. In this historical adventure film, Valery Sergeevich got the role of a Red Army soldier who was given the task of delivering a package to Semyon Budyonny.

Even if this work did not bring Valery Zolotukhin wide fame, it turned out to be a kind of prologue to the star role - Bumbarash. But on the way to all-Union fame, the actor starred in another film by Nazarov - the detective story “Master of the Taiga.” The role of district police officer Vasily brought popularity to the young artist. And working together on the set with my friend and colleague Vladimir Vysotsky brought great satisfaction.
Three years later, in 1971, a masterpiece of cinematic art, “Bumbarash,” was released. Valery Zolotukhin instantly became a star of Russian cinema. It is noteworthy that Zolotukhin had to show cunning and ingenuity to get the star role. After all, initially it was not intended for him, but for Mikhail Kononov.

Then Valery Sergeevich “took” the filmmakers with his amazing arrogance, declaring that if they want to make just a good picture, then Kononov is just right, but if they want to look into eternity, then they need him. And it turned out to be true. The film became a masterpiece and the artist’s calling card.
Critics consider Zolotukhin's finest hour to be the 70s. It was during this period that wonderful films with his participation were released: the detective story “The Missing of a Witness,” which became a continuation of “The Master of the Taiga,” the comedy “Shores,” the drama “Every Day of Doctor Kalinnikova” and “About Those I Remember and Love.” And these are just the projects that were filmed in the early 70s.

In the second half of the 70s, a wonderful film “The Tale of How Tsar Peter the Arap Married” was released. It was immediately followed by the films “Lyubov Yarovaya”, “Funny People” and the series “Little Tragedies”.
At the very end of the 1970s, viewers enjoyed watching a new film with the participation of their favorite actor - the detective story “Preliminary Investigation”. The audience also remembered the wonderful New Year’s comedy “Sorcerers”, where Zolotukhin appeared.

Unfortunately, the 80s and especially the 90s turned out to be a period of long calm in the star’s cinematic career. Perhaps the only worthy film work of this period can be called Nikolai Dostal’s retro-drama “The Man with an Accordion.” In the new century, the star actor returned to the screens. He appeared in the blockbusters “Night Watch” and “Day Watch” by Timur Bekmambetov. Zolotukhin played an old vampire.
Personal life
While studying at GITIS, Valery Zolotukhin fell in love with a beautiful classmate Nina Shatskaya. Everyone considered her an unattainable queen. And to a simple village guy from Altai, Shatskaya generally seemed like a star. But soon everyone was surprised to notice that Nina reciprocated her feelings for her classmate. They got married in their last year and were happy for a long time.

In this marriage a son, Denis, was born. And if it weren’t for the artist’s love of love, the couple would have stayed together for a long time. After all, Zolotukhin adored Nina Shatskaya. But he couldn’t help himself - the opposite sex attracted him irresistibly. Shatskaya and her 10-year-old son left her husband and soon married Leonid Filatov.

Valery Sergeevich met his second wife Tamara, the director’s assistant, on the set of the film “The Only One.” He liked the girl. But he was able to finally fall in love with her when he heard a beautiful violin playing on the street. When Zolotukhin climbed up the drainpipe through the window to look at the virtuoso violinist, he saw the same Tamara. In this marriage, a second son was born - Sergei.
Valery Zolotukhin and Irina Lindt
Zolotukhin met actress Irina Lindt at the theater in the late 90s. The passion that flared up was all-consuming. The artist was torn between his family and his young (33 years younger) mistress. He could not choose one woman out of two, because he loved both. The marriage with Tamara remained valid until Zolotukhin’s death. And Irina was his common-law wife, who gave birth to Valery Sergeevich’s son Vanya in 2004, a real copy of his father.
Personal life of Valery Zolotukhin
Valery Zolotukhin lived with his second wife Tamara until his last day. However, rumors have always circulated about his passionate love for the opposite sex.

The actor practically did not communicate with his eldest son Denis. After all, Zolotukhin broke up with his mother when the boy was 10 years old. In fact, he was raised by a completely different man.
He had four children.
