The biography of Valery Zolotukhin contains information that in 1963 he received a diploma and became an actor at the Mossovet Theater. He worked on this stage for only one year. He successfully auditioned with the director and was enrolled in the troupe. Here he worked all the years, embodying many characters in almost three dozen performances.
At first, Zolotukhin began with episodic roles. He made his debut in the production of The Good Man of Szechwan, where he played the water carrier.
Then he was invited to such performances as “Listen!”, “Hero of Our Time”, “The Life of Galileo” and many others. There were also very successful productions with the participation of the actor. This is “The Cherry Orchard”, and “The Misanthrope”, and “Vladimir Vysotsky”, and “A Feast during the Plague”. The actor's last role in the theater was Beranger. We are talking about the play “The King is Dying”.
In the summer of 2011, Yuri Lyubimov decided to part with the troupe, and Zolotukhin became the director of the theater. As artistic director, he released 6 new productions, and in the early spring of 2013 he was forced to resign. By this time, the actor was already mortally ill. However, we will return to this later.
Zolotukhin repeatedly took part in performances of other theaters. These are “Modern”, TKZ of the Vladimir Vysotsky Museum, the Soviet Army Theater, etc. He was involved in such directorial works as “Paul I”, “Mozart and Salieri”, “The Price”, “Scamps, or Kin IV”, “Prosecutor’s parable" and "Happy Event".
In addition, the actor performed on the stage of the Altai youth theater more than once. He then played in the productions “Don’t Part With Your Loved Ones,” “At the Depths,” “Childhood Holiday” and “The Inspector General.”
Son Denis - married his mother and stepfather
The son of Valery Zolotukhin and Nina Shatskaya, Denis, studied at the directing department of VGIK - this was what his stepfather, Leonid Filatov, whom Denis greatly respected and loved, advised him to do. However, after the third year, Denis’s life changed dramatically.
He left VGIK and entered the Theological Seminary. Today Denis is a priest. His family has six children. Parishioners call him Father Dionysius.

She worked as an assistant director. Once Zolotukhin was walking near the hotel and heard the sounds of a violin - it turned out that it was Tamara playing the violin. Bewitched by the music, the man climbed up the drainpipe into the girl’s window. Valery Zolotukhin proposed marriage to Tamara and a little later she gave him a son, who was named Sergei. Tamara lived with Valery for 35 years, but in recent years she was forced to share him with Irina Lindt.

But at the age of 28, Sergei committed suicide. He did not leave any note or explain his departure in any way.
Subsequently, relatives decided that there could only be one reason for such a terrible decision: the young man learned that his father, Valery Zolotukhin, lives in two families.
Perhaps he could not survive this... Sergei’s funeral service was performed by his elder brother, Father Dionysius.
Divorce
By that time, relations in Valery Zolotukhin’s family had completely broken down. So he called Tamara and urgently invited her to Moscow. When she arrived, he announced that he was going to marry her. He took all the troubles upon himself. Her husband was shocked by this decision, but could not change anything.
Her daughter Katya went to her relatives in Kaliningrad, and Tamara went to her new husband.

The tragic fate of a son
The fate of the common son of Tamara and Valery was tragic. Sergei became a creative person and musician.
His participation in the domestic alternative rock band “Dead Dolphins”, in which he was a drummer, brought him fame.
In 2007, when he was 27 years old, he committed suicide. Sergei hanged himself on the threshold of his own apartment, in which he lived with his girlfriend. No one could understand the reason for this act. The group was at the peak of its popularity. Although there were turmoil in Sergei’s family due to his father’s constant betrayals, he loved both of his parents, constantly met and maintained relationships with them, despite possible disagreements.
