Mikhail was born in Moscow.

An important meeting for Mikhail’s future career took place during his student years, when he was studying at the Institute of Steel and Alloys. He met with Vladimir Vinokur. Time passed before Vinokur realized that Mikhail’s desire to get on the stage was real, and no difficulties along this path scared him. Only after this did he begin to invite Grushevsky to performances so that he could communicate with new people, visit artists, and immerse himself in the behind-the-scenes scene of the show.
At that time, everything that Grushevsky did was called amateur performances, for which he received certificates and thanks, but he really liked it all.
It was thanks to perestroika that he was able to gradually move from amateur performances to professional activities. To enter the professional stage, you needed an artist's diploma. But in order to receive such a diploma, Mikhail would first have to serve in the army, so he decides to stay at the institute. After graduation, Grushevsky got a job as an engineer. It was 1987.

The comedian's biography began on November 29, 1964 in Moscow. Mikhail was born into an ordinary family: his mother is of Ukrainian nationality, and Grushevsky prefers not to talk about his father, since his parents divorced when the boy was 5 years old. Fortunately, the group turned out to be in demand, the artists enjoyed success and toured a lot. Their speeches responded to many pressing topics. Mikhail was the first to parody Mikhail Gorbachev. The number turned out to be a bomb, although many then believed that he was taking a risk. Most of all, the public's interest was fueled by the fact that almost all the numbers where Mikhail performed with this parody were cut from television broadcasts. Later he parodied Zhirinovsky and Khazbulatov.
Finding yourself
In the mid-70s, Misha Grushevsky graduated from high school and entered the Institute of Steel and Alloys. He was one of the best students on the course. Our hero was responsible for organizing cultural events. Mikhail himself came up with jokes and humorous acts.
In the early 80s, Grushevsky received a university diploma. The young specialist had no problems finding employment. Misha was hired at one of the Moscow research institutes.

The Meshchansky District Court of Moscow sentenced Sergei Grushevsky, producer of children's pop groups, famous showman and radio host. He was charged with four counts of sexual assault on a person under 14 years of age and one count of indecent assault on a person 12 years of age but under 14 years of age.
As the press service of the court told the New Omsk publication, Sergei Grushevsky was sentenced to 17 years in prison in a maximum security penal colony.
