Ex-participant of “House 2” Stas Karimov: I don’t allow my daughter to watch this madhouse
Twin brothers Stas and Oscar Karimov from Belebey were pioneers in the popular TV show: they came to “House 2” among the first and stayed there for almost a year and a half. TV presenter Ksenia Borodina did not remain indifferent to Oscar, but their romance ended as quickly as it began. Stas once tried to melt the ice in the heart of Olga Buzova. Now the brothers have a completely different life: beloved wives and a minimum of publicity. Stas Karimov told Komsomolskaya Pravda about the lessons the project taught.
Stas and the Oscars stayed on “House 2” for almost a year and a half
— How did your life turn out, what do you do?
Stas: I live in two cities: on weekdays I work on a social project in Cheboksary, on Fridays and weekends I perform in Moscow. I also have design orders - I draw advertising and printing, but still DJing is my main occupation. Oscar and I started playing 14 years ago, and since then music has not let me go, we have traveled all over Russia and the CIS. Now I am 36 years old and I am happy with what is happening in my life. People still come and recognize me wherever I go. They say that my brother and I have not changed at all, I hope this is true.
— Are you used to the Moscow rhythm of life?
Stas: It’s rare to get up early: night performances make their presence felt. But as soon as I wake up, I always do light gymnastics, then I go to the gym, and then the day is completely devoted to family and work.
— Do you often come to Bashkiria with your brother?
Stas: Once a year we try to visit our parents in Belebey: we have an older brother and a niece who live there. It happens that we perform in clubs: in Ufa, Sterlitamak, Oktyabrsky. By the way, we have an adequate price tag for media people: from 50 thousand rubles for two. I would like to visit my native land more often, but my brother and I already have our own families, I devote myself entirely to my beloved girls.
Stas rarely posts photos with his family - now there is a minimum of publicity in his life
-Are you happy in your marriage?
Stas: Yes, I have a beloved wife, Lena, and a 13-year-old daughter, Uma: by the way, she already has a black belt in taekwondo. My daughter is my greatest pride; she studies at the gymnasium with excellent marks, draws, and sculpts.
— Do you have any secret to an ideal family life?
Stas: The most important thing is to trust each other, support and not give in to provocations, no matter from whomever they come. There is no need to swear over trifles: if you have real, sincere feelings, you need to fight for them. Now, on the same “House 2” and just in life, people come together, diverge, look for new partners and never find anyone. You need to forgive and accept the person. And, of course, never regret anything. I don't regret anything in my life.
“HOUSE 2” HAS TURNED INTO SOME kind of rabble
— Of course, your daughter knows about her television past?
Stas: Yes, Uma is used to people recognizing me, but we don’t turn on “House 2”: I don’t allow my daughter to watch this madhouse, and she herself won’t. If earlier the television production was a really interesting, experimental project, now there is, excuse me, some kind of rabble. 13 years is a long time even for such a successful project, so it is not surprising that the ratings began to fall. An alternative has appeared - the same “Vacations in Mexico”. I would like to appeal to the producers and directors of “House 2”: you won’t be satisfied with scandals alone, without some kind of positive morality the project will die.
- “But the grass was greener before” does it mean? Do you keep in touch with the old people?
Stas: If possible: they are all part of an important period in my life. Styopa Menshchikov, Roma Tretyakov, Lena Berkova, oddly enough, with the Sun (Olga Nikolaeva, participant in the project - author ) we went together to perform so many times... Of course, not everyone wants to communicate: Borodina cut off all contacts long ago. I understand her: new life, family, she’s not interested in us. But I have always respected Ksyukha and will never go back on my words.
— How do you feel about the musical successes of the other host of the project, Olga Buzova?
Stas: We always sang at “House 2” and went on tour, so why not? More than half of the artists on our stage don’t know how to sing, who cares? Of course, I’ve only heard one song of hers, it’s difficult to evaluate it somehow. Olya is talented, smart, and has achieved everything herself. In addition, she has a multi-million audience that supports her. What else can I say, I can only wish you great luck. I myself cannot live without creativity, without the emotional return of listeners, so I completely understand it. By the way, I am always happy to communicate with fans on social networks and receive feedback about my musical works.

Back in 2004, the first episode of the most popular reality show “Dom-2” was aired. Over its almost fourteen-year history, the program has undergone a lot of changes. More than a thousand participants passed through the project. The guys got married, had children, got divorced, left and came back again. Some were forgotten immediately after their departure, but the brightest ones are still remembered by TV viewers. Today, many people are concerned with the question: what happened to the first participants of the reality show, where are they and what are they doing? The Karimov brothers, Oscar and Stas, were precisely one of the pioneers of the popular television series. But after their departure from “House-2” they somehow disappeared from public view. Ksenia's education
A year after the start of the project, she went to study at GITIS, majoring in acting (she already had one higher education in hotel management). Just like the TV project, she didn’t get into the desired institute the first time; she had to force the admissions committee and once again prove that she would do everything towards her goal. But to the greatest regret of her fans, Ksenia’s career as an actress did not work out because she had to leave her studies due to a very busy filming schedule.

Don't you think that it is very difficult to imagine Ksenia as an actress playing someone, she has become such a complete person in herself that it is very difficult to imagine her playing a role. Personally, in 15 years I have not tired of observing and being inspired by the natural Ksenia. How accurately and convincingly she speaks, expresses her thoughts clearly and understandably, her opinion has become so authoritative that not only the participants, but also a multimillion-dollar audience listen to her and listen to her. I remember her like this from the very first day of the famous TV construction project. Ksenia has obvious talent as a thermal imaging presenter, and the camera definitely loves her. How it all began
The Karimov brothers were born in Bashkortostan (in the city of Belebey) in 1980. Nice and cheerful guys from an early age were interested in music and creativity. Oscar was especially drawn to the stage. It was he who always acted as the ringleader and always came up with different adventures. Stas, as an older brother, grew up more responsible, reasonable and more inclined to solve organizational issues. Possessing such qualities, it is not surprising that the brothers made an excellent creative duo. Therefore, when the casting for a new television project was announced, they decided to try their hand without hesitation.
The organizers liked the openness of Stas and Oscar Karimov, and the brothers became part of the first participants of “House-2”. Thus began their creative path to popularity. And she didn’t have to wait long, because the show at that time was simply collecting record ratings. The unprecedented success could not be predicted in advance. This transmission format was new on Russian television, becoming one of the first reality shows in Russia.
From the history.
Dom-2 preceded the television project Dom, which was hosted by the king of the stage, Nikolai Baskov himself. The project ran from July 1 to November 1, 2003, and involved 12 married couples who built the house themselves. The final of the show was hosted by Dmitry Nagiyev himself, and the winners were a married couple from Perm who chose the equivalent of a house worth 8 million rubles. A very impressive prize for the early 2000s.
The project was a success, and the producers decided to continue the theme of construction, but added another element of love. Everyone knew Ksenia Sobchak, I assume that everyone knew her even before she was born. This is the fate of children of famous parents. But Ksenia Borodina is a girl from a simple, but interesting family. Parents are from Armenia. They separated when Ksyusha was 1 year old. Mom married an Italian architect and moved to live in Italy, her daughter stayed in Moscow with her grandparents. Since childhood, she has strived for fame. I wanted to perform on stage, become a famous singer or actress. She didn’t succeed for a very long time, and she also didn’t have a proper education. Her mother really invited her to Italy, but it would be very difficult to build an acting career there. One day she couldn’t even stand it and gave up. The tickets were purchased and she was about to go to the airport, but then they called her and offered her the role of presenter in a new television project. Of course, she immediately agreed, which is why she had a huge fight with her family.
Participation in a television project
We have already written that Oscar Karimov constantly encouraged his brother to participate in various adventures. So this time Stas could not resist his brother’s offer to participate in the television project “Dom-2”.
The guys successfully passed the qualifying round. In many ways, they were facilitated by their identical and more than attractive appearance. The guys also showed their best in communication. They have always been talkers, so they instantly won over the commission that was selecting for participation in the show.
So easily and simply the brothers entered the perimeter of the television project with the rest of the participants on May 12, 2004.
Oscar's new relationship
Oscar was not lonely for long; he soon met a girl, Alena. The couple dated for a long time, after which they decided to live together in a Moscow apartment. Oscar Karimov and his wife, photos of whom you can see in this article, are truly happy.
Oscar admits that he does not maintain any relationship with Ksyusha, but still communicates with the participants in his season of the television project.
Oscar also says that he is incredibly happy with his Alena, they literally understand each other perfectly and almost never quarrel.
Got it on my own
Oscar Karimov constantly showed signs of attention to Ksyusha, but the girl did not dream of an office romance. She avoided him in every possible way and asked him to stop grabbing her in his arms at least on camera.
Over time, she decided that it was better to be friends with the enemy. Spectators watched their friendly conversations and funny jokes. Ksenia constantly suggested that Oscar start building a relationship with one of the participants, but he only declared his love to her.
Such tender words as Oscar spoke to her in private eventually melted the ice in the presenter’s heart, and she allowed herself to relax.
Many viewers of the television project followed their romance, were happy for the couple, and called their relationship the most tender and romantic.
But the organizers of the project did not need such a turn of events. They asked the girl to end her relationship with the participant. They scared Oscar that they would simply remove him from the set.
Soon he was given an ultimatum: either he begins to love one of the participants and build a relationship with her, or he leaves the perimeter.
Oscar Karimov simply could not imagine another girl next to him, he loved Ksenia very much, so he chose the second option - leaving the project. Thus, his participation in the TV show lasted 218 days.
Relationships and life of Stas Karimov on the project
From the very first episodes, viewers could observe how Stas indicated his sympathy for Marina the Mouselova. Quite quickly, the guys declared themselves an established couple and moved from the shared bedroom to a VIP house, which by the standards of the project was considered very comfortable housing. But just as quickly as the couple was born, just as quickly it broke up. A little later, the guy began to court another participant in the TV show, Olga Buzova (now the host of “House-2”). Stas truly fell in love with the girl, and Olya reciprocated his feelings. But the relationship did not become strong, and the couple broke up. Olga immediately began building a relationship with Stas, who left the perimeter in June 2005.
Mikhail Terekhin
On one of the beautiful summer days of 2011, a very impressive participant appears on the site of house -2, who, by the way, came to the casting in a BMW x5. All the free and unfree participants immediately noticed an interesting specimen, but Mikhail was in no hurry to choose and enter into a relationship. As it turned out, later, he began an affair with the very presenter of the popular project. By that time, Ksenia had become a glamorous, “polished” girl in the good sense of these words. Her figure, appearance and sense of style have become unique standards of beauty and elegance. The army of fans grew like a snowball, but still it was the former chief of the criminal police who was able to win her heart. Let me remind you that at that time there were not the best days in Mikhail’s life. He escaped from his past life, where he was involved in a case for accepting a bribe in the amount of 450,000 rubles. He was also married to Christina Terekhina, who was left alone with her little son. But Ksenia stood up for her beloved man and even accompanied him in court, where he was finally found guilty and he was fired from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The couple was together for more than 3 years. There were a lot of loud quarrels and partings and the same stormy applications. They even managed to take part in the “Terem for Two” competition and win a house! By the way, it is interesting to note that Olga Buzova and Dmitry Tarasov also wanted to participate in the competition, but the participants did not allow the presenter to do this.
The steam did not pass the strength test. Fans, as often happens, are divided into two camps. Someone wished them restoration, someone said that Ksenia deserved better. And so it happened.
