Childhood
Ilya Iosifov was born on June 25, 1986 in Moscow.
He was raised by creative parents - his mother worked in the theater all her life, and his father was a professional artist. At an early age, the boy was sent to art school, as his father wanted his son to follow in his footsteps. However, this did not happen - despite his talent, Ilya hated paint and the easel and insisted that his parents stop taking him to classes. So that the boy would not sit idle, he was enrolled in a music school, but he was not interested in scales and choral singing. For two years he tried to overcome himself, but then dropped out of school again. In parallel with these failures, Ilya was not doing well at school either. At first he studied in a mathematics class, but due to poor performance he was forced to transfer to a school with a theatrical focus. The change in his usual environment unsettled him and he began to skip classes.
Ilya Iosifov before becoming famous
Despite the lack of special interest in school subjects, Iosifov liked choreography lessons - he passed all the sketches with flying colors. In 9th grade, Ilya decided to enter theater college. Interestingly, the actor later admitted that he never dreamed of becoming an actor, and for him this is just a job that he, nevertheless, must do well. Another remarkable fact from the future artist’s school biography is that he studied at the same school with the brothers Andrei and Alexei Chadov, whom he did not like at that time due to his own complexes.
Ilya Iosifov and the actors of the play “Life is Good”
In college, the young man was fascinated by the theater of the absurd and his teachers’ non-trivial approach to classical productions. After graduation, Ilya entered a humanities university, where Honored Artist of the RSFSR Yuri Klepikov became his mentor. Soon the guy began to play in the play “Life is Good” by the new experimental theater “Praktika”. A little later, he also played small roles in productions of the Armen Dzhigarkhanyan Theater - “Close Your Eyes, I’ll Tell You a Fairy Tale” and “Little Red Riding Hood”.

Russian film and theater actor Ilya Iosifov was born in 1986, on June 25 in Moscow into a family of creative people. His father was a famous graphic artist, and his mother worked in the theater with the corps de ballet.
From early childhood, Ilya was engaged in drawing, but this was mainly not his personal passion, but the desire of his parents. Ilya himself, deep down in his soul, could not tolerate paints and an easel, despite his artistic talent, which was proven by awarding the boy second place in the “Young Talents of Moscow” competition.
Later, Ilya’s parents sent Ilya to a music school, but the boy quickly became bored with solfeggio, scales and French songs, and he soon quit playing music.
Ilya’s performance at school with a mathematical focus was poor, so the boy was transferred to a school with a theater focus. Here Iosifov finally found his calling. Despite numerous absences, Ilya passed all his sketches with flying colors and loved choreography lessons. At this school, two grades older, the Chadov brothers studied, whom Ilya despised and disliked a little in childhood because of their beautiful appearance and popularity among girls, since Ilya himself was the smallest in the class, wore his hair with a parting and now laughs at himself . In those days, a commercial for the “Feint” bar appeared on television, starring Chadov with the slogan “for those who are really cool.” Now Ilya remembers those times with a smile and considers the Chadovs to be excellent guys.
After graduating from ninth grade, Ilya Iosifov applied to a theater college, where he later entered, passing the entrance exams superbly.
In 2008, Ilya Iosifov was already a graduate of the acting department of the Institute of Humanitarian Education. After graduating from the institute under the leadership of Yuri Klepikov, he began playing in the Praktika theater, where his first performance, “Life was a Good Thing,” took place. The actor also took part in the productions of “Little Red Riding Hood” and “Close Your Eyes, I’ll Tell You Fairy Tales” at the Armen Dzhigarkhanyan Theater.
In cinema, Ilya Iosifov made his debut in the series “Junkers ” in 2006, then he starred in the famous Channel One series “Tatiana’s Day” in 2007, which made Ilya Iosifov famous throughout the country and then he woke up truly famous.
Ilya Iosifov is often offered the roles of sailors. His role as a cabin boy in the 2007 comedy “Election Day” captivated many television viewers, and the series “Still I Love” in 2008 was remembered for its spontaneity and excellent acting. During his service, Korolev surprises his colleagues with his erudition.
In the series “A Second Before...” Ilya plays the role of Mikhail, a guy who deserted from the army after he learned about the girl’s betrayal.

The best minds in the radio station are taking on this important task.
In the film “Volunteer” Ilya played the role of Yura-Storm. The hero of the film, Tyr, has two paths in life: go to college and work in an office, or become a drug courier and have a lot of money. However, he embarks on a search for the anonymous and mysterious graffiti artist Python, who creates masterpieces in his craft. However, this path is extremely dramatic.

They started talking about Iosifov the very next year, when he played the smart and modest programmer Misha Nikiforov in the popular Channel One television series “Tatyana’s Day” with Anna Snatkina and Natalya Rudova. Finding yourself
Ilya Iosifov was born in Moscow. His mother worked in the theater, in the corps de ballet, and his father was a graphic artist by profession. The father tried to teach his son to draw and sent him to art school. However, Ilya did not show interest in this area, he went to classes with reluctance, although he took second place in the “Young Talents of Moscow” competition. After that, Ilya studied at a music school for about two years. Only music turned out to be boring for him... For some time, Ilya Iosifov studied at a school with a mathematical bias, then he was transferred to a school with a theatrical bias. And this, it should be noted, did not affect his academic performance for the better. He himself admits that he was a terrible truant. After ninth grade, Ilya entered theater college and there he finally found himself. Fascinated by the avant-garde, and in particular the theater of the absurd, Ilya quickly found a common language with his director and successfully made various sketches, participated in student productions... After college, Ilya Iosifov continued his acting education at the Institute of Humanitarian Education on the course of artistic director Yu. V. Klepikov.
Theater
For one theatrical season, Ilya Iosifov played at the Armen Dzhigarkhanyan Theater. The actor played the roles of Gemini in the play “Close Your Eyes, I’ll Tell You a Fairy Tale” (based on the play by Lyudmila Razumovskaya) and the Little Wolf in the play “Little Red Riding Hood.” Collaborates with the PRACTIKA theater.
First roles on screen
One of Ilya Iosifov’s first works on the screen was the role of cadet Alexandrov in the 12-episode historical drama “Junkers” (2007), directed by Igor Chernitsky based on the works of A. I. Kuprin. The script included the novel "The Junkers", the stories "The Duel" and "At the Turning Point", a number of other stories by the writer, as well as documents from the military history of Russia and the memoirs of the last cadets - graduates of cadet schools in 1917. A wonderful patriotic film without unnecessary pathos and empty props evoked a lively response from the audience. In the same year, Ilya Iosifov starred in a number of films. In the comedy "Election Day" he appeared in a small role of a sailor, in the adventure film "A Second Before..." he played the fugitive soldier Misha, and in the melodrama "The Model" he played the role of Sasha, the youngest son of the artist. As is often the case, the long-running television series brought widespread fame to the young actor. In 2007-2008, Ilya Iosifov took part in the filming of the melodramatic series “Tatiana’s Day,” which lasted for 221 episodes. His hero Ilya there was Misha Nikiforov, a guy who spends a lot of time at the computer. As you know, filming in such projects takes place “on the fly,” so no special creativity was required from the actor. Nevertheless, Ilya himself considers his work at Tatyana’s Day to be a good school, where he was able to gain the necessary experience and hone his technique of working in front of the camera, which was then useful for other television projects.
2009-2013
After a number of diverse supporting roles in a number of films and TV series (Kostik in the series “Hour of Volkov-3”, Seva Barsukov in the military drama “Katya”, Yura - Storm in the drama “Volunteer”, etc.), Ilya Iosifov starred in one of the main roles in the TV series "Stroibatya". The actor created the image of former student Ivan Korolev, expelled from Moscow State University and called up for military service. Here the typical “nerd”, as he was in civilian life, will have to adapt to the new realities of life... The next sensational project in which Ilya Iosifov took part was the youth series “Physics or Chemistry” (an adaptation of the Spanish series of the same name), which talks about the problems and the concerns of modern youth. Ilya played the role of a young guy, homosexual Fyodor Romanov. Vivid, memorable images were created by the actor in the 20-episode military crime film “MUR. Third Front" (MUR employee, captain Ilya Tikhy), in the historical drama "Deli Case No. 1" (Anton Platonov), in the comedy-drama series "Save the Boss" (Alexander Baturin). And in 2014, the fantasy series “Ship” (an adaptation of the Spanish series “Ark”) was released, in which Ilya Iosifov played the role of Renat Akhmadullin, a calm, well-mannered young man, medalist and athlete.
Entering college and starting an acting career
At the entrance examination to the theater college, Ilya Iosifov conquered the commission and passed the exams with flying colors. Iosifov recalls how he was discouraged by the teacher’s methods, but his non-trivial approach to teaching contributed to his passion for the theater of the absurd and in his third year he took part in a free production of “Alice in Wonderland.”
After graduating from college, Iosifov entered the Institute of Humanities in the acting department and studied on the course of Yuri Klepikov. After graduating from the institute, Ilya Iosifov begins working at the Praktika experimental theater, where he plays in the play “Life is a Good Thing.” Soon he moved to the Armen Dzhigarkhanyan Theater. In the play “Little Red Riding Hood”, Ilya received the role of the Little Wolf, and in the production of “Close Your Eyes, I’ll Tell You a Fairy Tale” - the role of Gemini.
