Ilya Alekseev was born and raised in a simple working-class family. None of his relatives had anything to do with the world of theater and cinema. However, the boy dreamed of acting since childhood.
In his youth, Ilya was involved in sports professionally. Volleyball, karate, taekwondo, boxing, sports acrobatics are not all the types in which he excelled. After school, he entered the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports of the Nizhny Novgorod State Pedagogical University. Kozma Minin.

“I don’t dream, but I set goals in life that I want to achieve. Of course, first of all, I want to stay in the profession, not necessarily as an actor, maybe as a producer or director. I love quality cinema, and when I watch a bad product, I want to contribute to the quality of Russian cinema.”

“Before I was seventeen, I set a goal to become an actor. When I watched theatrical performances, I thought: how do they do this, it’s completely impossible! I was not afraid to set this goal for myself and figure out what the secret of the acting profession is. Back then I thought that the main thing was to wave your legs in front of the camera and shoot beautifully. It turns out that the acting profession is much deeper, and you can study this skill all your life and remain the same student.”
