Alexey Sheinin grieves deeply for his daughter, who passed away due to cancer.

MOVIE

Nelly Pshennaya made her film debut in 1969, playing the role of Yaroslavna in the film “Prince Igor”. In total, the actress performed more than 60 films, including roles in the films “Agony”, “Office Romance”, “Shot in the Back”, “Midshipmen, Go!”, “Two Fates”, “Apples of Paradise”, “Island of Unnecessary People” ", "Only about love" and others.

In 2020, the Rossiya TV channel premiered Sergei Lyalin’s multi-part film “The Hornet’s Nest,” which tells about three generations of women of the Maltsev family. Nelly Pshennaya played the role of Liya Arkadyevna Gurevich, a mysterious person to whom the head of the Maltsev family bequeathed all her property. The film also stars: Maria Kulikova, Evgenia Simonova, Elizaveta Arzamasova, Andrei Chernyshov, Evgeniy Sidikhin, and others.

Career

Immediately after passing her final work at GITIS, Nelli was offered a place in the team of one of the oldest theaters in the capital - named after Mossovet. The head of the course, Grigory Konsky, put in a word for her. In 1969, Lyubov Orlova, Serafima Birman, Vera Maretskaya, Rostislav Plyatt, Faina Ranevskaya also played on the stage of this theater. Everyone in the theater was afraid of the latter, including Pshennaya. They even played with Ranevskaya in the same production, where Nelly replaced the suddenly ill Valentina Talyzina.

Millet accepted any offers, including willingly taking on episodic roles and not disdaining to participate in crowd scenes. She did not see anything shameful in this even after gaining popularity. In one of the interviews, Nellie admitted that she is already happy with what she plays, so it is not so important for her whether it is the main role or a secondary one. Soon directors began to trust her with typical heroines.

Nelly never betrayed her native Mossovet Theater. For more than 50 seasons she has been playing only on its stage, becoming one of the leading actresses. Pshennaya took part in the following productions:

  • "Dangerous ties";
  • "Little tragedies";
  • "King Lear";
  • "Dear friend";
  • “The Brothers Karamazov”, etc.

In 1969, Pshennaya made her film debut. She starred in the historical film “Prince Igor” in the role of Yaroslavna. The very next year she appeared in the film “Young”.

In 1973, Nelly was offered to play in the film “Agony”. According to the script, she had to bare her breasts in front of the camera. At that time this was an out of the ordinary request. However, Pshennaya was ready to do a lot for the sake of art, and agreed to the role without hesitation.

In the 70-80s, Pshennaya had no end to proposals from directors. She was literally in great demand. In 1977, the actress starred in “Office Romance.” There she played the wife of the hero Oleg Basilashvili. In 1987, Pshennaya took part in the filming of Svetlana Druzhinina’s famous film “Midshipmen, Forward!”, where she played the role of Anna Bestuzheva.

At the end of the 90s, difficult times came for Russian actors. Few feature films were produced, and filmmakers focused on TV series. Millet was filmed in a similar format. She played in such famous TV series as “Apples of Paradise”, “Two Fates”, “Hornet’s Nest”, “Marriage by Will”.

PERSONAL LIFE

Nelly Pshennaya was married several times. Her first husband was a classmate; the young people got married while still studying at the institute. After being married for less than a year, the couple separated.

Pshennaya’s second husband is actor Alexey Sheinin. The couple had a daughter, Evgenia. The couple lived together for 7 years, after which they separated.

According to the actress, after her divorce from Sheinin, she did not think about a new marriage. Although affairs with men did happen - and not rarely. Nellie says: “In general, I consider myself a woman deprived of love. But I have long been accustomed to loneliness. Why should I be responsible for a man who sometimes cannot be responsible for himself? There was a time when I suffered and cried. It happened that I offended men. Maybe God punished me for this.”

“Hidden for several years”: The daughter of a famous Russian actor died from a fatal disease

Actor Alexey Sheinin gave a frank interview. The man spoke about his marriage to actress Nelly Pshennaya and the death of their daughter Evgenia, whose life was taken by cancer.

Today, December 18, celebrated actor Alexei Sheinin turned 70 years old. Fame came to the artist after his roles in the films “On the Corner, at the Patriarch’s”, “Apples of Paradise”. Currently, Sheinin is a teacher at GITIS and an actor at the Theater. Ermolova. The artist was married twice. Sheinin's first wife was actress Nelly Pshennaya.

“Nelly Millet is still a beauty, but then you couldn’t take your eyes off her. Although her parents were from the village, she walked along Gorky Street in such a way that one got the impression that blue blood flowed in her. One evening, after rehearsal, she says: “When will you get my phone number?” I replied: “Why?” She was very surprised. From that moment our romance began, which grew into a seven-year marriage,” said the actor.

It’s interesting that after the divorce, Pshennaya never remarried. “Is it possible to get married after me? I am an easy person, it’s not difficult to live with me if you forgive small weaknesses. You won’t find anything else like it,” Sheinin boasted.

As it turned out, while married, Nelly Pshennaya became interested in her husband’s friend, actor Yuri Demich. “I gave my wife three days to think about it. Now I would forgive her, but then at 33 I still didn’t realize much. Although he was not a saint and cheated on her himself... Nelly is a dear person to me. I've been helping her all my life. “I recently gave money for eye surgery,” the artist noted.

In his marriage to Pshenna, Sheinin had a daughter, Evgenia. “I never forgot our daughter Zhenya for a day, I constantly supported her. Two years ago she passed away from cancer, my daughter was the most beloved woman in the world for me. I still don’t know how I survived after her death...” Eg.RU quotes Alexey Sheinin.

After her divorce from the actor, Pshenaya devoted herself to her daughter, and then to her grandchildren. “Her main role is grandmother, although she is a wonderful actress. The eldest granddaughter Polina was selected for the school of journalism at Moscow State University. The beauty has grown, I am proud of her. The youngest, Nastya, will become an artist, it won’t be possible to dissuade her,” said the actor.

For the second time, Alexey Sheinin married a French woman named Annie. They have been together for 25 years. “My wife is a two-time French champion in show jumping. At the time we met, I was in a terrible state of mind, and also had a hypertensive crisis. Annie first took care of my health, and then my heart. For my sake, my wife began working under a contract at the French embassy in Moscow. At first we communicated in English, then Annie learned Russian. I also learned French so that I could somehow communicate with my mother-in-law. We have been together for 25 years, we have a son, Andrei, who is studying in Paris at the architectural institute. Now Annie still has a residence permit, she is waiting for Russian citizenship,” said the actor.

QUOTES

About Me

“I have a quality that is wrong for an actress - I am not vain. I raised myself this way from the very beginning, when I saw from my student years how people envied each other. It could be any little thing: from a given role to a presented bouquet after the performance. I realized that this could actually burn me from the inside, and I eradicated envy in myself. The most important thing for me was how I would play. I also taught myself not to be afraid of failure. I don't consider myself successful. I’m not a socialite, not a party girl, I’m a different person—homey, family-oriented.”

About cinema and theater

“It’s more difficult to act in films. Here you come and start playing either from the end or from the middle. And all in parts - one scene can be divided into several pieces. In the theater, staging and understanding of the plot comes with rehearsal, but in cinema this is not the case - scenes are rarely rehearsed. And the worst thing about cinema is the waiting. And if you have learned this, then you can do this hard work. Filming is very exhausting: the film crew is constantly around you, talking... It’s hard to concentrate. But in the theater, if you couldn’t finish playing something, you have a chance to replay it.”
