Childhood and adolescence
The future actor was born on September 15, 1978 in the Ukrainian Svetlovodsk into a family of hereditary military personnel. His grandfather, Konstantin Danilovich, was an aircraft mechanic in the regiment of the famous pilot Ivan Kozhedub. Father, Anatoly Konstantinovich, served in the navy. Older brother Konstantin also continued the family dynasty and is an officer in the Ukrainian Air Force. But Anatoly initially chose a different path in life, which over time also led him to the army, albeit in a somewhat unusual capacity.
Anatoly Pashinin is from the Ukrainian Svetlovodsk
Pashinin spent his early years in Vladivostok, where his father served at that time. Later, the family returned to Ukraine again and settled in Zaporozhye.
Anatoly grew up as an active, athletic boy, practiced boxing and karate, and even became the owner of a brown belt. In the future, good physical training helped him out more than once on the set of military and crime series, where he felt like a fish in water.
After graduating from school, the young man entered the Zaporozhye Engineering Academy, where he became a student at two faculties - economics and non-ferrous metals.
Anatoly Pashinin in his youth and now
Already in his first year he became interested in playing KVN and won the Ukrainian Champions Cup with the student team. Rehearsals, performances and tours kept young Pashinin busy, and by the fifth year he realized that he wanted to become an actor, not a metallurgist or manager.
The young man decided to take a risk, and, despite the lack of money and connections, he went to Moscow, where he submitted documents to the Shchepkinsky School. At the interview, he sincerely stated that he wanted to achieve recognition and fame, which bribed the head of the admissions committee, Rimma Solntseva.
Anatoly Pashinin studied acting in “Sliver”
Pashinin studied well, and although there were not enough stars in the sky, he was also not listed among the lagging behind. In my final years I began actively going to auditions, realizing that getting into cinema is much easier than becoming a good theater actor.
early years
It is not surprising that in such a family the boys grew up very athletic. So, Anatoly was passionate about boxing and karate. As a teenager, he dreamed of following in his father's footsteps and becoming a sailor, but fate decreed otherwise.
After graduating from school, Anatoly Pashinin came to Zaporozhye, where he entered the local university, and upon completion of his studies he became the owner of two diplomas at once - a metallurgical engineer and an economist.
In his fifth year, Anatoly realized that he did not want to connect his life with either economics or metallurgy. He seriously thought about his future and decided to try his hand at acting. Without thinking twice, the young man went to Moscow, where he entered the famous Shchepkinsky School.
It is noteworthy that during the entrance exams, when asked why he wanted to become an artist, the young man answered without a shadow of embarrassment that he dreams of fame. Anatoly’s admission to a theater university and his move to the capital of Russia came as a complete surprise to his family, but his relatives supported the young man’s choice.
Actor career
Anatoly, like many young actors, began his film career in 2001 with episodic roles in TV series (“The Lion’s Share,” “Next,” “A Man’s Work”). A year later, he was offered to play the main character, boxer Pavel, in the eight-episode melodrama “Provincials.” Thanks to his sports background, Pashinin coped with the task perfectly, but the film turned out to be very mediocre and did not particularly impress the audience. But the series “Ondine” (2003), as well as its actors, among whom was Anatoly, was a resounding success.
On the set of the series "Ondine"
Gradually, Pashinin’s role began to emerge (a young, ardent fighter for truth, a career military man), which the creators of the film “Stormy Gates” (2006) did not fail to take advantage of. This picture became a real high point for Pashinin, who convincingly played the young senior Doronin, who bravely fought against Chechen extremists. The audience highly appreciated the dramatic talent of the actor, who managed to convey the personal tragedy of his hero and the depth of his experiences. “Storm Gates” (soundtrack) On the set of this film, Anatoly met and became friends with Mikhail Porechenkov, whom he met again after some time in the film “Admiral” (2009), and ten years later he found himself on opposite sides of the barricades.
Anatoly Pashinin in the film “Admiral”
After the release of Storm Gates, Pashinin continued to act in TV series, the number of which by 2014 was close to four dozen. His further career was hindered by revolutionary events in Ukraine, in which the actor took a direct part.
Pashinin lives on pennies and begs for food
Success on movie screens is behind us, and now Anatoly Pashinin,
who escaped from Russia to join the Ukrainian Armed Forces, cleans yards in order to somehow survive. And he gets pennies.
According to him, work “comes up, guys sometimes call: “Do you need money? There is an opportunity to earn extra 500 hryvnia” (about 1 thousand 200 rubles).
And to get this, he needs to “go out, rake,” and the one who is stocking up on firewood for the heating season needs to “load, unload, bring, chop.” They also “clear the rubble in front of the house, although “not every day, it’s rare.”
And he eats while doing this kind of work on the street. “A friend calls: “I have 500 hryvnia, why should I hire someone? So at least you and I." There, somewhere, he has sausages frying on the grill while we clean everything up,” Pashinin noted.
That is, the former famous actor is now unemployed and literally survives from bread to water. At the same time, he keeps a Russian passport, which makes him “safer.” The artist, who recently celebrated his 40th birthday, spoke about how and what he lives on after returning from the ATO, wearing a red embroidered shirt with a swastika to the “Rendezvous” program.
“A Russian passport protects me much better on the territory of Ukraine than a Ukrainian passport. Because a Ukrainian passport, Ukrainian citizenship smacks of a sect. You can give, or you can take away. What if you are not fit to be the leader of a sect, we take away this passport from you. Therefore it is not necessary. There’s nothing to take away from me, that’s why I’m strong,” Pashinin explained.
For this interview, the actor asked for free food. “Very simple things have been making him happy lately, and a hearty dinner will make him very happy, that’s a hint,” he told the television crew.
Not so long ago, he bravely called for killing Ukrainians who wear the St. George ribbon, and proudly declared how wonderful it was to participate in hostilities. Now he started talking about something else. And he left the Armed Forces of Ukraine. There were rumors that he didn’t do it himself, but was kicked out because he didn’t fight, but drank heavily.
Now he complains more about the lack of a film industry in Ukraine and proposes that actor Alexey Gorbunov, who also left Russia for Ukraine after 2014, be appointed Minister of Culture in Nezalezhnaya.
Pashinin was born in Zaporozhye. Graduated from the Shchukin Theater School in Moscow. He played a lot in TV series, appeared on the big screen in the films “Admiral” and “We are from the Future,” the Komsomolskaya Pravda website recalls.
His greatest fame came from his work in Storm Gates, where he played with Mikhail Porechenkov. Today in Ukraine this film is banned from showing.
In 2020, Ukrainian television showed a report with ATO volunteer Pashinin in the title role. But now Anatoly is not going to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and has changed his views about what is happening in Independence.
Pashinin's political views
In 2014, Anatoly supported Euromaidan and approved the policy of the Ukrainian authorities in Donbass. Soon after the outbreak of hostilities, Pashinin left for Ukraine and joined one of the volunteer detachments. From time to time, Anatoly makes such radical statements that he gives the impression of a person engaged in self-PR. Recently, he has allowed himself to speak disapprovingly not only about the residents of Donbass, but also about Petro Poroshenko himself.

“MAIDAN” SYNDROME: ACTOR ANATOLY PASHININ WHO ESCAPEED TO UKRAINE WANTS BACK TO RUSSIA
Former actor Anatoly Pashinin, once famous in Russia for his roles as officers in The Admiral and Storm Gates, fled to Ukraine and became an ardent Russophobe nationalist.
Nationalist and Russophobe
Pashinin was remembered thanks to posters for theatrical productions posted in the Urals, in which the 38-year-old hero appeared as an actor in the play. A few years ago, he starred with Konstantin Khabensky in “Admiral” and Mikhail Porechenkov in “Storm Gates,” but after the Maidan he instantly became an ardent nationalist, went to Ukraine, where he began calling for terrorist attacks in Russia and delivering toilet paper to the ATO.
As it turned out, the posters with the actor were outdated and were posted in order to save money. However, in light of the ongoing war with the southeast of Ukraine, the fate of Anatoly Pashinin is still of interest.
Being an actor was not part of Tolik Pashinin’s plans: he wanted to continue the family’s military dynasty. Apparently, this explains such a passion for “officer” roles. Before starting his acting career, the future nationalist studied at the Faculty of Metallurgy and Management at the Zaporozhye Academy of Engineering. But realizing that there was nothing to “catch” in Ukraine, he moved to the now hated Moscow and entered the acting field.
Ukrainian singer Arsen Mirzoyan recalls:
“Tolik and I have been friends since our student days; we studied together in Zaporozhye. Both were fond of KVN, and one day our teacher advised him to try himself in the theater field. But before receiving a third degree, Tolya decided to first test his strength: he found an advertisement for the recruitment of actors for the troupe of some provincial Russian theater, encouraged me, and we rushed together. Surprisingly, both passed! Naturally, we didn’t intend to stay there - for us it was just an experiment. But after that, Tolya went to Moscow to enroll in Shchepka (Higher Theater School named after M. S. Shchepkin - editor’s note), and I took up vocals seriously.”
Teacher Rimma Solntseva also shared her impressions of Pashinin:
“Tall, stately and incredibly ambitious - that’s how he showed up for his first lesson. He immediately shocked everyone with his confession, saying that he came here not for the sake of creativity, like everyone else, but for money and fame! It sounded too cocky."
The former actor’s former teacher noted:
“In his second year they began to invite him to the cinema. This is where it all started. The first success turned his head. He achieved what he wanted, so he began to skip classes often. The rector endured and endured, but when Pashinin, without warning anyone, left for filming and missed the graduation performance, he was expelled from the school. As far as I know, he never received a diploma.”
It is noteworthy that Pashinin later admitted more than once in interviews that he considered his best role to be the one for which he was given the most money.
"Maidan" syndrome
Rimma Solntseva is perplexed:
“I don’t know what happened to him, but Tolik became unrecognizable. For some reason he got involved in politics, began to vilify people and the country that taught him and made him successful. He wasn't like this before. He was friends with absolutely everyone. Yes, he was always proud and arrogant, but I never observed cruelty and hatred in him. I remember how he fell hopelessly in love with one of his classmates—I think it was Yulechka Telpukhova. They starred in “Provincials” together. But Yulia is a Muscovite and did not pay attention to the visiting Tolik. He was very worried, but he always kept it to himself. Only once did he open up with me... Now they say about Tolya that he drinks heavily. Maybe he takes it worse.”
Actress Yulia Telpukhova, with whom Pashinin was in love, is surprised:
“Was Pashinin in love with me? It seems to me that Tolya was fixated only on himself. Girls were of little interest to him. No, of course, he was a prominent guy and many people like him, but he never began to court anyone. It used to be that he would jump around in the dressing room in front of the girls in his shorts, tease, flirt, and that was all, period. So if I was in love with someone, we didn’t know about it.”
The hero's fellow countryman and friend Arsen Mirzoyan recalled a completely different love story:
“In Tolya’s life there was that one and only named Nadya. She is a former Israeli army officer. The guys met at one of the film festivals. Tolya came there for work, she came there to relax. I don’t know exactly why they didn’t have a family: it seems that she was married at that time, or maybe it was because Tolik left Russia, and she stayed there. But even now, my friend remembers her all the time. He had never talked so much about any woman before. To be honest, before Nadia, he didn’t take any girl seriously at all.”
There's no turning back
According to the same friend, Pashinin is now barely making ends meet without work or housing. For three years he has lived in his parents’ apartment in Zaporozhye. He also did not stay long in the ATO zone: after carrying toilet paper around the punitive trenches, Pashinin became disillusioned with what was happening. That’s why he’s in no hurry to exchange his Russian passport for a Ukrainian one, although his path to Russia is now “forbidden.”
The former actor's mother notes:
“Tolik would like to return to Moscow and start filming again, but he can’t - they’ll kill him again: either someone there will get angry, or they won’t forgive him for running away. And he already had two stab wounds (a fight in a roadside cafe - editor's note). It would be better if he sat side by side with his mother and father. It's calmer this way. He works as a beekeeper outside the city. When he leaves for a week in the fresh air, he takes some books with him and reads. He just doesn’t want to get married. I haven't met any girls yet. But I’ve already turned 38 years old - it’s time to have children. But, you know, not every woman can get along with him - Tolya is very difficult for the family, too selective, boring. I’m afraid that I’ll remain single.”
This creates an interesting panorama: an actor who came from the Ukrainian wilderness and was full of ambition, made a name for himself in Russia, and then, besotted with Ukrainian propaganda and his own illusions, became a nationalist and Russophobe, which he now regrets a thousand times while reading books in the apiary.

Personal life of Anatoly Pashinin
The actor is not married and has no children. According to him, in Russia he had a beloved woman who married someone else. Now Anatoly has no time for romantic dates and kisses under the moon - he is busy at the front.
Anatoly Pashinin is not yet married and has no children
True, his battalion commander Andrei Gergert had a low opinion of the actor’s military merits and let slip that Pashinin spends most of his time in the rear or digging trenches, and was only on the front line for a month.
Artist Pashinin died “high” in Donbass
Today, many media outlets reported the death of actor Anatoly Pashinin in the Donbass, in the war zone. According to unconfirmed information, Pashinin died during a mortar attack on a rear post. He received several shrapnel wounds incompatible with life, as a result of which he died. Pashinin's director Yulia Pavlova has not yet commented on what happened, i.e. neither confirms nor denies information about the actor’s death. But according to Ukrainian media, the actor’s mother and himself responded. The mother said that her son, fortunately, is alive. The actor said that there was no order to die. Where does the wind blow from then?
Why did Pashinin go to the front?
We have already written that the famous Russian-Ukrainian actor, who starred in a number of domestic films, moved to his homeland in 2014 - Ukraine. He did this, first of all, for political reasons - Pashinin supported Maidan, shared the main ideas and values of its leaders, and therefore decided to move to Ukraine. Since that time, the artist’s behavior has changed significantly. He was noted several times with harsh Russophobic statements, and repeatedly came to the ATO zone to encourage Ukrainian soldiers and officers. At first it looked like self-promotion, but then Pashinin, I must say, showed some courage and volunteered for the Ararta battalion. In one of his interviews, he reported that he received the shoulder straps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the head of the operational command “South”, Lieutenant General Anatoly Sirotenko . And then in one of his interviews with the Ukrainian media he said that he gets a thrill from fighting in the Donbass.
“I’m not doing my duty here, being with these nice guys, I get a kick,” said Pashinin, saying that he had taken the call sign “Double.”
As you can see, today the actor’s entire life is spent getting high. The news about his death is also, apparently, from the same series, although dying in war is a common thing.
Anatoly Pashinin now
It is not surprising that this state of affairs had the most negative impact on his professional career. At first, the actor hoped that he would become a star of Ukrainian TV series, but his dreams were not destined to come true. Over the past four years, he has appeared on screen only twice: in 2016, he played a cameo role in the series “Rules of Combat,” and in the spring of 2020, he appeared in the propaganda film of the famous Ukrainian nationalist Dmitry Korchinsky, “Post-Traumatic Rhapsody.” "Post Traumatic Rhapsody" - trailer

Anatoly Pashinin left the ATO and earns 500 hryvnia by removing garbage
A former actor with a Russian passport moved for permanent residence to Square in 2014. Last year it became known that Anatoly Pashinin moved from words to action and volunteered for the ATO. Like other Russian “defectors,” the once popular serial actor in Russia, life in his small homeland did not work out. Pashinin is not invited to act in films even after he became almost a hero of Ukraine by picking up a machine gun.
Those who once worked with Anatoly said that he was increasingly hitting the bottle.
Ukrainian television crews found out how the artist, who recently celebrated his 40th birthday, was doing. He came to visit the program with the romantic name “Rendezvous” to tell how, and most importantly, what he lives after returning from the ATO. He came in a red embroidered shirt with a swastika, but this didn’t bother anyone.
“Yes, [the job] just turns up, the guys sometimes call: “Do you need money? There is an opportunity to earn extra 500 hryvnia [approximately 1,200 rubles].” Go out and clear it out. Now this... heating season, people are stocking up on firewood, so load it, unload it, bring it, chop it. Christmas trees, sticks, there is always some kind of thing around the house: clearing away the rubble in front of the house. All the autumn jobs that lonely old people can't do. It's not every day, it's rare. A friend calls: “I have 500 hryvnia, how can I hire someone? So at least you and I." There, somewhere, he has sausages frying on the grill while we clean everything up,” said Anatoly Pashinin.
The ex-ATO participant was asked why he was so angry with the director of the film “Cyborgs” Akhtem Seytablaev in his reviews on social networks?
Pashinin reacted violently:
- Enough! We cannot afford to spend [budget money] on the ambitions of some directors! Spending it through people who have no professional relationship with culture and film production! We can't afford this! — the former actor started up. — Gorbunov [Alexey Gorbunov, a Ukrainian actor who worked in Russia and also moved to Ukraine], who has a full range of knowledge, should be the Minister of Culture, damn it! I'm talking about the real Gorbunov, about a man, a god, a creator. And he could create an industry. Even superstars will film for Gorbunov for free! Don’t call Gorbunov “ours.” Because you don't deserve such a great man! He's filming in France now. He is here in poverty with his education, with his potential! This is a betrayal towards him, this is a terrible injustice towards him! At the same time, these Loraki [Ani Lorak], these hereditary Stupkas [the son and grandson of the Ukrainian actor Bogdan Stupka], they feel awesome!
And then came the reasoning of the former star of Russian TV series about whether there should be a Ukrainian nation:
— A nation arises in the event of a people’s victory in the national liberation struggle. She fades away. Nations are mortal, alas. Who knows, maybe we won’t exist,” Anatoly thought. — History shows that many nations fell into oblivion.
Anatoly Pashinin left ATOPhoto: Personal page of the hero of the publication on the social network
Does the former actor and former soldier consider himself a politician? As it turned out, yes.
- I'm already in politics! - said Pashinin. — Politics is a plurality of interests. I have a shitload of interests. I have a million plans and ideas. I'm comfortable alone. I will implement it when the opportunity arises.
But he does not intend to passively participate in future presidential elections.
“I don’t understand why you have to choose something rotten like in a grocery store?” - Anatoly is surprised.
Paired with Pashinin on Ukrainian channels for many years, the name of another Russian actor, with whom he once shone in Storm Gates, has traditionally been heard. But after the presenter said “Porechenkov” (for greater drama, the name of his 49-year-old colleague is bleeped out on Ukrainian channels as something abusive, while photos of Mikhail are shown to explain to the viewer who they are talking about), Anatoly Pashinin I had a nervous breakdown. The former artist began to swear angrily in front of the television cameras:
- Enough about him ***, honestly ****, enough already! And cut it all out! All of Ukraine is fucking climbing into the wake of someone else’s meanness! Do you think it's still still shit? Yes, it's still shit! He did a very bad, disgusting thing! Cattle! What other attitude do I have! This whole thing pisses me off! And it’s not enough that I’m sitting at war with him! They still need to fuck! Let's start with the fact that Porechenkov will break any of them! - Anatoly shouted incoherently.
And then, confused in his thoughts and words, he blurted out: “Indira Gandhi is not my friend, of course, but he also talked about it.” It is worth recalling that Indira Gandhi is a famous politician, the only woman minister of India (11/19/1917 - 10/31/1984)
Pashinin had approximately the same hysteria at the mention of Zakhar Prilepin.
- Yes, we got it already! I don’t want these names to be mentioned next to my last name! Don't want! Some wretched things! Why should I be compared to them? Why should I give them airtime? — the former serial actor lamented.
Finally, the presenter asked why he doesn’t change his passport?
“A Russian passport protects me much better on the territory of Ukraine than a Ukrainian passport,” Pashinin explained. — Because the Ukrainian passport, Ukrainian citizenship smacks of a sect. You can give, or you can take away. What if you are not fit to be the leader of a sect, we take away this passport from you. Therefore it is not necessary. There's nothing to take away from me, that's why I'm strong!
The interview ended with Anatoly Pashinin negotiating a free dinner from the TV channel in exchange for this interview:
— Lately, very simple things have been making me happy, making me happy. A hearty dinner will make me very happy, that’s a hint,” the man smiled ingratiatingly.
Let us remember that Anatoly Pashinin was born in Zaporozhye (Svetlovodsk) in 1978. He went to Moscow to study as an actor and graduated from the Shchukin Theater School. He played a lot in TV series, then got on the big screen in the films “Admiral” and “We are from the future. The greatest recognition was received by his work in “Stormy Gates”, where he played together with Mikhail Porechenkov. Today in Ukraine the series “Stormy Gates” is banned. In 2020, a “heroic” report with ATO volunteer Pashinin in the title role was released on Ukrainian TV. Anatoly does not intend to return to service in the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The former Russian actor admitted that he gets “monstrous pleasure” from shedding blood in Donbass (details)
Actor-punisher Pashinin became a beggar and asks to act in Russia again
New details have emerged about the fate of Russian actor Anatoly Pashinin, who since 2014 left Russia for Ukraine and fought in the Donbass in the ranks of the Nazis.
How the actor lives now and how the decision to leave Russian cinema and our country turned out, his former colleague Sergei Marochkin said in his blog.
“I have already written a long article about Pashinin, in which I expressed my opinion about his situation and I will not repeat it. I'll leave the link at the end of the article. I was on the set of a new series at the Amedia film studio and got into a conversation with the director who had filmed Anatoly several times. He gave out such a palette of emotions that letters cannot convey. In addition, he told me some news about Tolik and his current life.
Anatoly Pashinin very successfully acted in our films and TV series until 2014. He worked in many theatrical projects and appeared on television. For example, I participated in Fort Boyard in a team of artists. But Anatoly decided to go to Ukraine and support her. He joined the ranks of volunteers and went to fight. He spoke horribly about our country and people. With your permission, I will not quote his words. Everything is easy to Google.
In 2018, Pashinin left the front line and disappeared from view for some time. There were speculations that he was killed or committed suicide, because he repeatedly threatened to do this. But no.
As it turned out, Pashinin was left completely without money and worked as a laborer. Cleaned snow and carried out other similar orders. He stated in various interviews (after which he asked to feed him) that he wanted to return to the acting profession and start acting in Ukrainian cinema.
But it didn’t work out, and the director told me why.
According to my new acquaintance, Pashinin, even at the beginning of his career, was sharp-tongued and often showed himself in scandals with colleagues. I even remembered the stories of our Shchepkinsky old-timers about his conflicts with other students. He had a fight with the creators of “Storm Gates” and did not show up for the dubbing. As a result, Pashinin’s hero was voiced by another actor.
And recently Pashinin was approved for some Ukrainian film, but he left the project, again, because of his long tongue. For some reason, in an interview with a Ukrainian journalist, he said that there is no cinema in Ukraine and he would be glad to return to film in Russia. After such words he was fired. He even called Amedia and asked if there were any roles for him.
But in Russia the path to cinema is probably closed to him forever, and now Ukrainian film studios don’t want to work with him.
In the last interview, he looks very pitiful and says that no one needs him. So why start all this? He earned excellent money in Russia, worked with the best directors and could achieve unprecedented heights. Then he could appear in Ukrainian cinema, but even there he destroyed himself.
I already wrote in the previous article that he cut down the branch on which he was sitting, but now he repeated it again. He is often called a traitor and I agree with this statement, but, first of all, Pashinin betrays himself and not for the first time. We studied with him at the same theater institute and I am annoyed that he betrayed our teachers by saying nasty things about the Russian people. So how does Anatoly Pashinin live now?
He turned into an unemployed beggar who no one needs. He works for food and can only dream of new roles.
Here's the story. Many of my friends consider him a talented person, but absolutely short-sighted and simply stupid. Maybe so".

On Saturday, August 1, the director of the punitive actor Pashinin, Yulia Pavlova, tried to refute the information about his plight. The woman stated that Pashinin allegedly receives many different offers to participate in filming.
“He has something to do there, naturally, in Ukraine, so it’s not he who asks, but he still receives different offers,” she assures.
