Personal life
Vadim arranged his personal life in his early youth with Galina Andreeva, a student at the food institute, and took his wife’s last name. 3 months after the wedding, their son Andrei was born. The wife is the closest person to the actor. Galina never received her diploma, devoted herself to her family, and saved her husband from an addiction to alcohol and a mini-stroke. After 36 years of marriage, the Andreevs got married. Vadim also serves as an altar boy in an Orthodox church.
He thought that his son would continue the dynasty, he even tried to enroll the guy in Mark Zakharov’s course at GITIS, but he refused. Instead, he graduated from the Academy of Management, worked as a film producer, and then went into business - opening a chain of stores for car owners. Of his children, he only has a daughter, Sophia, from flight attendant Anastasia Nefedova. Andrei was going to marry the girl’s mother, but the couple quarreled. Nastya stated that her common-law husband was beating her.

The famous actor does not interfere in the situation with his son. Andreev does not like life in the capital, so the family moved from the apartment on Paveletskaya to the village, to their own house. They go on vacation to Bulgaria, where they also purchased real estate. Vadim considers himself an incorrigible workaholic, and those rare days when there is no work lead to real despondency. The artist claims that inactivity gives rise to laziness, which kills a person’s personality.
After 60 years, a man, according to him, no longer thinks about sports, he only rides a bicycle, but losing a couple of kilograms a month is not a problem. The main thing is 5 meals a day and proper nutrition. Now, with a height of 182 cm, the artist’s weight does not exceed 80 kg.

The relationship between the co-stars began on the very first day of filming in front of the rest of the crew, many of whom reacted extremely negatively to this, but the lovers did not pay attention to anyone.
The romance developed rapidly, despite the fact that Andreev was married and had a little daughter growing up. The first wife of Vladimir Andreev, having learned about her husband’s hobby, did not start a scandal, but let her husband go.
“I wasn’t worried, on the contrary, I was happy for my husband that he was in good hands. She always treated Natasha well... She broke up with her husband with a light heart, and it’s strange to me that in all her interviews Selezneva still reproaches herself for breaking up someone else’s family,” says Natalya Arkhangelskaya.
Movies
The first film in Vadim’s creative biography was the comedy “Balamut” by Vladimir Rogovoy. The Arts Council categorically did not want to approve him for the role of a student from the village of Pyotr Gorokhov. Andreev’s candidacy was personally defended by the director, with whom no one dared to argue after the release of the famous “Officers” with Vasily Lanov and Georgy Yumatov.
After the premiere, the Soviet Screen magazine put Vadim in first place among the ten best actors of 1979, and the photo appeared on the cover of the popular publication. And Rogovoy invited the newly minted star to the next project “Sailors Have No Questions.”
A year later, Vadim joined the acting ensemble of the musical comedy “Carnival”, where the main role was played by Irina Muravyova. Andreev played the head of a theater studio in a provincial town. In the melodrama “Chauffeur for One Flight” with Lydia Fedoseeva-Shukshina and Oleg Efremov, he reincarnated as a village guy.
