Makar’s biography began on November 20, 1997 in Moscow, when he was born into the wealthy family of artist Masha Shukshina and successful entrepreneur Alexei Kasatkin. He was the second child of the TV presenter; the woman also raised her daughter Anna from her first husband, translator Artem Tregubenko. This union did not last long, but Maria did not give up on her personal life, so she soon married again.

Shukshina denies personal conflicts with her grandson’s mother.
