Childhood and youth
Mikhail Bublik was born in a village near Mariupol. In early childhood, the family moved to Mariupol itself, where Mikhail studied accordion at a music school. He taught himself to play the button accordion and guitar. As his parents say, he started singing before he spoke. Mikhail has two sisters - Svetlana and Yulia.
The artist’s parents were simple people and raised their children in strictness, teaching them to do simple village work from early childhood. They perceived the fact that the guy was drawn to creativity as a hobby. Therefore, at the insistence of his parents, after school, Mikhail entered the Azov State Technical University with a degree in Welder and graduated with honors.
But Mikhail’s soul yearned for music, and he left his native Mariupol for Kharkov, where he entered the Academy of Culture at the faculty of “Variety and Public Events Director.”
Smile of Fortune, great success of musician Mikhail Bublik
It is difficult to even imagine what the musician’s creative path would have been like if not for his fateful acquaintance with Alla Borisovna Pugacheva.
The beginning of this amazing story happened a few days before Mikhail would have turned 28 years old, in August 2010.
“Walking” on the World Wide Web, on one of the pages Mikhail Bublik saw a message addressed to him from a girl whom he did not know and had never even met. After reading it, the musician did not immediately understand what, or rather who he was talking about, and even thought that the stranger had made a mistake or even decided to play a joke on the artist in this way. I was embarrassed and haunted by the news that the girl had become a big fan of their group’s work, thanks to the reviews of Alla Pugacheva herself.
Mikhail knew only one Pugacheva, but could not believe that we were talking about Alla Borisovna. Curiosity forced the musician not only to find on the Internet all the recordings of the popular radio station “Radio Alla”, but also to listen to them. Mikhail couldn’t believe his ears, but his songs were actually heard on the air, and the Russian pop prima donna herself spoke favorably of his work. Isn't this a gift of fate?! Fortune had never smiled on him like this before.
The path to popularity
In Kharkov, Bublik and his friends create the Boobliks Band. To gain popularity with the public, they perform in clubs and at student evenings, where they sing hits of the time and Mikhail’s own songs. The group's concert activities were a success, and soon they were already invited to other cities in Ukraine.
Mikhail found out by chance on social networks from an unfamiliar girl that his songs were being played on Radio Alla. And having found broadcasts where Pugacheva spoke very flatteringly about his work, I realized that this was incredible luck.
The beginning of the creative career of Mikhail Bublik
After graduating from university, Mikhail faced a serious question: who to be and what to do? Work by profession, but won’t he regret the choice he made for the rest of his life?
In the end, the young man makes a decision: he leaves the city that has become his home and moves to Kharkov to continue his studies at the Academy of Culture.
It was in Kharkov, thanks to his desire and the efforts of experienced teachers, that the “yard singer, tomboy singer” managed to turn into, albeit young and a beginner, but able to reveal his rich inner world of a person and artist through creativity.
Immersing himself in his favorite pastime, Mikhail enthusiastically engages in music, creating new songs and working in the Booblik̕s band. The popularity of the group is growing, interest in the musicians is gaining momentum. Misha Bublik's songs are heard not only among friends, but also at special concerts and parties.
Soon several of the group's songs were heard on the radio. The listeners liked the compositions so much that they began to be broadcast more and more often. This was followed by concert activity. The young musician and his band were joyfully greeted not only in the city of his childhood, Mariupol, but also in Kharkov, Donetsk and even Kyiv.
First success
In the fall of 2010, Mikhail, at the invitation of Pugacheva, goes to the “Alla's Looking for Talents” competition and becomes one of the finalists. After the competition, his songs began to be played on famous radio channels.
A little later, on tour in Yalta, Bublik meets Kirkorov, and on his recommendation, takes part in the Peter FM award ceremony with the song “Sorry.”
The singer himself calls the tour to Chechnya an event that played a huge role in his life.
Long-awaited success and flourishing creativity
Of course, he would have become famous, it would just have happened a little later: Alla Pugacheva only slightly pushed him to all-Russian fame, and the singer deserved praise, since he received it from the “Diva for all times.” He himself speaks about that significant moment: “Yes, it was great luck for me that Alla Borisovna heard my songs. I consider myself truly lucky that my life turned out this way. But luck is a thing that any person can cultivate, you just need to train this luck: it’s like a muscle that can be pumped up. And in the process of “upgrading” your luck, you should not compare yourself with someone else, even if this person is truly successful. You need to look back at yourself yesterday, and strive to become better than yourself every minute.”

The singer decided to use his luck in the form of Pugacheva’s praise to the fullest: in the fall of the same year he went to the “Alla’s Looking for Talents” competition, where he already appeared in person before Alla Borisovna. By the way, even before the competition, she really wanted to see what this young talent looked like, singing “Say “No” (she liked this single the most): “It became so interesting, who is he, what does he look like, with such a surname - Bagel!". Alla Borisovna didn’t just mention him in passing in her program: she played Misha’s songs several times, and at the end of the broadcast she said: “Bagel! Wait for yourself next time! You still have something interesting.” And finally, the meeting that both had been waiting for took place.
Performance at the New Year's Blue Light on the Russia-1 TV channel (2012-2013)
He was even more fortunate with this significant meeting, because it was in 2010 that Alla Pugacheva announced that the radio project was being closed, and this year the last episodes of the Radio Alla program were aired. And one more detail: she herself called Mikhail and invited him to the competition, where she was able to see the “mysterious and talented Bublik.” Mikhail described his participation in the competition as follows: “I performed in number eleven, and of course I was very worried: Alla cut off some of them in front of me in the middle of the song, without listening to the end. And she listened to me to the end, and didn’t even take her eyes off me for a minute!”
After the concert, all the selected finalists were invited to a chic restaurant opposite Mosfilm: Alla Borisovna wanted to personally communicate with those who, in her opinion, are worthy of further promotion to the big stage. More from Mikhail’s memories: “She looked amazing, joked and laughed, but also gave us valuable advice. The meeting was held in such a relaxed atmosphere that they didn’t notice how several hours flew by.” Pugacheva, by the way, invited not only singers to the competition: presenters from large radio stations and program directors were present - Alla Borisovna wanted to directly indicate to them who they should pay attention to.
First place in 2010 on the “Alla’s Got Talents” project went to the singer Sevara from Uzbekistan, but the Diva especially singled out Mikhail - he was awarded a cash prize. In addition to the “material” award, Mikhail received recommendations from Pugacheva to include his songs on such radio projects as “Love Radio”, “Russian Radio”, “Radio Dacha”. Yes, his songs were already happily played even without “high” instructions, because participation and an award at a prestigious competition means a lot. And a little later, the first serious appearance on the big stage of Moscow took place: Misha Bublik was among the artists who performed at City Day.
Concerts in his native Mariupol, the first serious tour, including a trip to Crimea. There, in Yalta, Bublik met during performances with Philip Kirkorov, who (note: without any prompting from Pugacheva!) admired our hero’s singing. Kirkorov invited Mikhail to come to St. Petersburg, where the ceremonial presentation of the Radio FM awards was to take place: there Bublik performed his song “Sorry,” which had already become incredibly popular. The arrival in the northern capital was not limited to just this concert for him: he was invited to the Ice Palace, and then almost immediately with a group of colleagues Misha flew to Chechnya to perform in front of Russian soldiers and officers in Grozny.

2012: Misha Bublik releases his first disc “Art-shelling”, and at the same time receives first prize at “Chanson of the Year”: he was awarded the award for the song “We Will Definitely Be Together”. In the same year, he received another prestigious award - an award from Piter FM. Established musicians and famous artists do not tire of praising the singer, for example, this is what Kirkorov said about him: “If such bright stars lit up more often in our musical horizon, then we would quickly lose the status of musical mediocrity and secondary status in the world.” And Shufutinsky spoke about the talented Ukrainian: “Everything is fresh - arrangements, words, melody. He’s great!”
Mikhail Bublik – It will be light (Three chords)
A few more quotes from famous people about Mikhail Bublik. Alexander Shulgin, head of the company that exercised control over show business and entertainment: “I rarely recommend anyone, but in relation to this singer I do it with pleasure. He’s somewhat similar to Jason Mraz, he’s one of a kind, a people’s guy.” And here’s what Andrey Maksimov, columnist for Rossiyskaya Gazeta and editor-consultant of the VGTRK media holding, said: “He’s not like anyone else! He has a furious stage temperament and an incredibly strong and beautiful voice.” The singer confirmed the positive statements about himself by the masters of the cultural world: in 2013, he again became an award winner at the Chanson of the Year competition, this time for the song “40 thousand versts”.

The next significant stage in his life was his meeting with Elena Vaenga and collaboration with the beautiful Russian singer: this event raised Mikhail to an unimaginable height of popularity. But this meeting might not have taken place: thank God, “His Majesty Chance” intervened again. Misha’s St. Petersburg acquaintance, a lady named Vera, who was organizing large European tours of famous Russian artists, heard one of his songs. This is what Bublik himself said about this single later: “I wrote this song, but I didn’t know where to put it - somehow it seemed to me that it didn’t suit me. It was completely out of character for me, I even wanted to hide it away and forget it - I didn’t want to perform it.” Vera suggested to the artist: maybe show the song to Elena Vaenga? According to her, the singer must have liked the work. And so it happened - Vaenga not only fell in love with this song, but began to ardently insist on performing it together.
E. Vaenga & M. Bublik – What have we done
This is how the song “What have we done?” was presented to the already large army of Mikhail’s fans (and Elena’s fans). In “Saturday Evening” on the “Russia 1” channel, they performed a single to thunderous applause from the audience, which for many months would not leave the top lines of the domestic music charts. Of course, attempts were immediately made to stir up intrigue from the newly minted duet, but surprisingly, this time the rumors about Elena Vaenga’s affair with another “new kid” on the stage quickly went away. Well, Mikhail did not look like a “heartbreaker” or a fatal man: both then and now he gives the impression of a deeply decent person.
Personal life: married or not
Mikhail does not like to talk about his personal life. The singer expresses everything that happens in his soul in his songs.
After the release of the song “What have we done?”, which Bublik performed in a duet with Elena Vaenga, the press tried to create intrigue from their duet, but this fact was not confirmed.
He was not married and has no children. But he has many fans, perhaps soon the handsome and romantic singer will meet his fate and his songs from the category of sad ones about unhappy love will move into a completely different direction.
About his personal life
Unfortunately, there is almost nothing to say on this topic: Mikhail Bublik is a completely “closed book” in terms of personal things for journalists. It is known that he is not married and has no children. But masters from the media sphere still managed to “extract” some information from him with cunning questions: he has a beloved woman, he just carefully hides it! In one of his interviews on Radio Chanson, in a series of quick questions, he was asked: “How do you feel about the fact that “gender” holidays are now going out of fashion? Why don’t men congratulate women on March 8th, and vice versa?” Misha replied: “How so? A woman should feel attention to herself, especially on a day like this! For my part, I think the best gift is flowers.” Aha, the presenters thought, there is her, Misha Bublik’s beloved woman! To consolidate his success, he was quickly asked: “What was the last thing she gave you on February 23?” - and received the answer: “Eau de toilette.”

The singer calls himself an ordinary guy from a simple Ukrainian town, and he really is like that - he loves his homeland and parents. He loves to talk in interviews about his family, about his childhood, and if they offer filming, he always takes the opportunity to go to his native land and show the house where he grew up. Misha will take the film crew to his kindergarten and offer them some raspberries and black currants. He will show his father’s apiary, “small, just a few beehives” - his words. He will tell you about his grandfather’s trophy spoon, for which he fought with his sisters as a child, “and we also fought fiercely for a place by the window,” his words. When you watch these programs, where he once again comes to his parents, you believe: he is an unusually sincere and positive person, and he will be very lucky with the woman who will become his wife and the mother of his children.
Mikhail Bublik: I do not hide my biography. But I talk about myself not on the Internet, but in songs
In the capital's Prime Hall on April 13, Mikhail, a six-time winner of the Chanson of the Year award, will present his program “Frankly”. On the eve of the concert, we talked with the singer about sudden fame, biographical secrets, Mariupol roots and modern music
- Mikhail, for some reason there is not a lot of information you on the Internet - even on the official website, instead of the traditional “Biography” section, there is a section “Instead of a biography” with short statements about you by Pugacheva, Kirkorov, Shufutinsky... You have something to hide ?
— It seems to me that in today’s world there is so much information that there is a need to be concise. Then a press release, which is written in honor of one’s own name, always looks strange, like some kind of narcissism, so a different position is closer to me. As for the lack of information, I talk about myself a lot more in songs than might be necessary to get an impression on all the issues of interest.
— Your big debut took place in 2010 - then at the Peter FM in St. Petersburg, your song “Sorry” was performed. you remember the first time you felt truly famous ? n't this feeling scary ?
“It seems to me that a person cannot be afraid if he is doing something by calling. That is, the situation, of course, may be unfamiliar or unusual, but it cannot be scary, just as a doctor in an operating room cannot be afraid, nor can a public person in public. Most likely, it is not fear that appears, but a feeling of greater responsibility.
— Tell us about your new program “Frankly”. Are you really going to open up?
— This program is about finding yourself, about love for a woman, about how important it is to find the right words that can develop good feelings in an era of blah blah blah, when there is no meaning and conversation on the merits. And this program is also about mercy, which will build this world. These are very loud words - not mine, I read them somewhere. I read it and thought: why mercy? Not work, not intelligence, not technology, but mercy... After all, in the world of wild nature there is nothing like it. Everything there is subject to the principles of cold and common sense. The wolf eats the wounded animal, rather than helping it. The strong defeat the weak. But mercy is characteristic only of man. Mercy and love make a person truly alive. In any case, this is exactly how what I sing from the stage resonates in my soul today.
— Not long ago you took part in the anniversary concert of Alexander Rosenbaum. But which singer would you go to for an anniversary concert with pleasure and sing his songs?
— I don’t like to sing other people’s songs, but since my youth I have had deep respect for the work of Alexander Yakovlevich, so I agreed. And I would go to the concert of the British singer Jamie Cullum, not necessarily the anniversary one (laughs).
In general, as for modern musicians, today, when a huge amount of new music appears, I don’t even have time to remember the names. In general, I like what is happening today in Ukrainian, Russian, and Belarusian music, but it seems to me that music is losing its national, special characteristics characteristic of folk culture. Loses its own root system, its individuality.
— Tell us about the “Battle of the Choirs” project , where you acted as a mentor . What did he give you and what did you give him?
- I didn’t evaluate it. This was an attempt for me to understand from the inside how the filming process works. It was interesting to work with the team. Although professional work with a choir requires much more knowledge and experience than I had. Therefore, I think that I personally gave little to the project. The project took me behind the scenes of the complex filming process.
— You come from Mariupol. Which of your famous fellow countrymen do you know?
— Mariupol is a wonderful city, symbolic and dear to me. Of his fellow countrymen, perhaps the most famous is the artist Arkhip Kuindzhi.
— Mikhail, where is your bright surname ?
— From my parents (laughs). I come from an ordinary Ukrainian family, where it is customary to gather around the table and sing songs... And play - after all, I studied accordion at a music school.
— Do you have a favorite Ukrainian proverb?
“It’s not that she’s a favorite, she’s just the one that came to mind at the moment.” “Don’t praise yourself, don’t let people praise you.”
DO NOT MISS!
Mikhail Bublik will present his new program “Frankly” on April 13 at 20.00 in Prime Hall. Tickets: 45 - 110 rub. T. (033) 365-00-00.
Conquest of Russia
Mariupol, Kyiv, Kharkov - in these and other Ukrainian cities they knew who Mikhail Bublik was. The singer’s biography aroused people’s interest. Our hero wanted to conquer Russian listeners as well. But he did not have the necessary connections or money for promotion. However, Misha was very lucky.
In August 2010, a message came to his page on one of the social networks. The girl thanked Mikhail Bublik for the soulful songs. She also mentioned that she learned about his work from Alla Pugacheva. Our hero began to check this information. It turned out that M. Bublik’s songs are regularly played by the Radio Alla radio station. And the Diva herself highly appreciates the performer’s vocal abilities.
What about Mikhail Bublik? His biography was soon replenished with an important and joyful event. He took part in the “Alla's Looking for Talents” competition. A smiling and handsome guy reached the final of this project. He managed to achieve wide fame and recognition from listeners.
After the “Alla is Looking for Talents” competition, Mikhail, along with other finalists, went on a tour of Russian cities. People everywhere greeted his performances with cheers.
The beginning of a creative journey
And then His Majesty chance decided everything in Mikhail’s fate. A completely unfamiliar girl wrote to him on one of the social networks, saying that she was very happy to get to know Mikhail’s work and was grateful to Alla Pugacheva for this. At first Bublik didn’t understand what Pugachev had to do with it, and began to correspond with the girl, from which he found out that a fan had heard his songs on air on Radio Alla.
Mikhail listened to all the broadcasts, and indeed his songs were heard there. But not only did they sound there, the Primadonna also spoke well of them: “Oh, I liked the guy. Although the song is short, you can feel everything in it: power, character, and the degree of talent. I was immediately hooked."
And a few days later, Philip Kirkorov also wrote a flattering review on his Twitter page: “The appearance of such a musician and his songs is a real event.” A few weeks later, Bublik met with Philip in Yalta, where he was on tour. The king of the pop scene took Misha’s CD with musical compositions and promised to do everything in his power. When Mikhail was returning from Yalta, he received a call and was offered to perform at the Peter FM music awards ceremony with the song “Sorry.”
It was very unexpected. And now the self-taught Mariupol musician stood in front of twenty thousand spectators on the stage of the St. Petersburg Ice Palace. And he had one dressing room with Tatyana Bulanova and Elena Vaenga.
And after the concert, Major General of the Russian police Vladimir Kubyshko approached Misha and invited the artist to give a concert in Chechnya. They first flew on a military plane to Mazdok, where a meeting with journalists took place, and then the musicians were fed mind-blowingly delicious boiled chicken and Ossetian cheese. Then they flew to Grozny on a military helicopter. The concert was attended by the President of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov and the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Rashid Nurgaliev.
Mikhail Bublik: personal biography
The tall and smiling guy has never experienced problems associated with a lack of female attention. Both in Ukraine and in Russia he had no end to fans. And now there are no problems with this either.
Mikhail Bublik, whose biography we are considering, carefully hides his personal life from prying eyes. It is known that he was married. Unfortunately, the name, surname and occupation of his wife are not disclosed.
For several years now, Mikhail Viktorovich has been a bachelor. There are a lot of contenders for his heart. But so far the same woman with whom the singer would want to go to the registry office has not appeared on the horizon. Mikhail Bublik does not make any special demands on his potential chosen one. The main thing is that she was kind, honest, pretty and thrifty. In interviews with printed publications, the musician has repeatedly stated: the man is the breadwinner in the family, and the woman should stay at home, cook and raise children.
