Biography
Pyotr Krasilov admitted in an interview that he likes to play villainous lovers. Such heroes have a complex character, this is always interesting and requires more dedication from the actor, so that the viewer develops sympathy for the negative character.
Petr Krasilov
But a man still has to be a hero-lover at a certain stage of his life.
“Everyone dreams of conquering women with just one look.”
Childhood and youth
Pyotr Krasilov was born in the summer of 1977 in one of the capital’s maternity hospitals, although the family at that time lived in Balashikha, near Moscow. Krasilov’s parents had nothing to do with theater and cinema, or any other form of art. Except that my mother, Olga Petrovna, worked at the Moscow Circus as Yuri Nikulin’s secretary. And Petya himself as a child had no desire to become an artist: the boy was fond of sports, especially highlighting certain types of martial arts, and also attended figure skating classes.
Theater and film actor Pyotr Krasilov
Young Krasilov did not like the last sport, but Petya regularly went to the skating rink for 6 years and did not give up his skates, for fear of upsetting his mother.
From the age of 3, Pyotr Krasilov grew up without a father - the head of the family died tragically.
The first to notice Petya’s artistic inclinations was a literature teacher who led a creative club at school. She invited the relaxed fifth-grader to play a small role in the production of “Dragon,” which became decisive in the actor’s biography. Now Krasilov attended not only sports sections, but also theater classes.

After the 8th grade, the teenager moved to another school in the capital, where there was a theater class. But he did not study at the new educational institution for long: Peter was not good at general education subjects. I had to return to my native school, where Krasilov had previously been interested in biology and chemistry.
It seems that the pendulum has swung in the opposite direction from acting: Petya is thinking about becoming a pharmacist. But everything returned to normal when he was again invited to the theater club. It was there that the talented young man was noticed by an experienced acting teacher, Boris Golubovsky. He accepted the graduate immediately into the 2nd year of the RATI Theater College.
Pyotr Krasilov in his youth
After graduating from college, Pyotr Krasilov already knew exactly which path he would take next. On his first try, he entered the M. S. Shchepkin Theater School and in 1999 became a certified actor.
Recalling his student years, the actor says that they were not at all cloudless for him. In his 2nd year, the guy broke his leg, and it was so unfortunate that doctors predicted a lifelong limp for the future artist. It was here that Krasilov had the opportunity to test his willpower and ability to deal with difficulties: he made incredible efforts and overcame all the consequences of the injury.
Pyotr Krasilov forgot about his eldest son

The star of the TV series “Poor Nastya” and “Lapushki” is forbidden by his new wife to communicate with the child
After marrying a girl from a commercial for a popular coffee brand, Irina SHEBEKO, and giving birth to a daughter two years ago, the famous actor became an exemplary family man, although he tries not to remember his previous civil marriage, in which he had a son. As they say in the party, the new wife does not allow him to take a step without her knowledge. So all that remains is to remember love stories.
Petya loved girls since childhood. And he almost always became a victim of female cunning, cunning and deceit. One day, coming from a kindergarten in the town of Balashikha near Moscow, the baby told his mother Olga Petrovna that he was going to get married. Mom, barely holding back her laughter, asked who her son’s chosen one was. “Irochka!” - was the answer.
Ira and I were in the same group, swinging on the swings together, playing in the sandbox. The future screen star lovingly looked after his beloved - he allowed her to play with his scoop and was ready to beat any boy who dared to offend the girl.
Natalya SELIVANOVA loved KRASILOVA, but did not want to marry him |
The dream of marrying Irochka never came true. A treacherous little girl once chose another boy over her faithful knight.
My beloved was taken away by my bosom friend
At school, Krasilov was friends with two girls at once - Olya Mayakova and Natasha Zabegaeva . To keep the girls from looking the other way, Petya constantly made up something, for which his classmates even called him a clown. After the eighth grade, his mother transferred him to a theater school. By that time, Petya’s friendship with Olya had grown into something more, and they began to meet “for real.” It is possible that the guys made certain plans for the future, but they were not destined to come true. Maxim Sevastyanov , who came from Sevastopol to Balashikha, also had his eye on Olga. And Krasilov himself helped him a lot in this. The fact is that she and Olga decided to celebrate September 1 together. And Petya came up with the idea - to invite Maxim to the company. After some time, he felt that his beloved was avoiding meeting with him. As it turned out, Olga was fascinated by his friend. Krasilov’s former passion took the final exams with an already noticeable belly. After graduating from school, she married Maxim.

Studying helped Peter survive the betrayal of his beloved girl. Until now, the actor considers himself incredibly lucky. Boris Golubovsky came to the class where he studied , who was recruiting students to the theater college RATI (Russian Academy of Theater Arts). He noticed a talented young man and took him straight into his second year.
Sabo instead of a kiss
Three years of study seemed to Krasilov not enough, and after graduating from RATI he entered the Theater School. Shchepkina. Ekaterina Klimova studied in the same course with him . They rehearsed together, played in student excerpts, and one day Peter discovered that he was head over heels in love with a beauty. The trouble is that Katya was not free - from the age of 15 she dated a guy named Ilya. Peter, in order to win Klimova, used all his charm, joked and joked continuously. And in the end, he conquered his fellow student. The actor has a funny memory from his affair with Klimova. Katya was the first girl who introduced Peter to... clogs. In one far from wonderful moment for Krasilov, Klimova simply threw them at Peter and... did not miss! Since then, according to the actor himself, he has remembered the word “clog” for the rest of his life.
In 2002, Petya and Natasha had a son, Vanechka. |
Katya remained for Krasilov just an ex-girlfriend, because after much thought she finally became Ilya’s wife and gave birth to his daughter Lisa. And after some time she left him for actor Igor Petrenko .
Judging by the fact that Peter introduced his new passion to Klimova, the former classmates remained friends.
Civil marriage
the actress of the Sphere Theater Natalya Selivanova in the Hermitage Garden, where the theater celebrated the closing of the season. Krasilov at that time was an actor at the Lenkom Theater and quite by chance ended up next to Natalya at the table. From the very first minute they “caught on” their tongues, and Natalya felt a kindred spirit in him. They had a lot in common: they were involved in figure skating as children, both grew up without a father... According to Natalya herself, she was fascinated from the very first minute. But... the wound from the divorce from her first husband, actor Mikhail Bezobrazov . They got married while they were students at the Shchukin Theater School, but their life together could not be called cloudless. The fact is that Mikhail constantly cheated on Natalya.
The actor doted on the heir |
He flirted and declared his love to another fellow student - Ekaterina Guseva , who herself provoked him to such tricks.
Natalya’s friend put an end to their marriage, to whom she constantly complained about Guseva, saying that she no longer had the strength to see them openly hugging and kissing. One day Selivanova saw her husband leaving the entrance of the house in the morning where that same friend lived. After the divorce, Natalya promised herself that she would never get married again.
And then the paths of Krasilov and Selivanova crossed again in a common company. After the celebration, Peter offered to accompany Natasha. And suddenly he unexpectedly offered to go to his home.
That night there was nothing between them: like a true man, Krasilov gave up his “royal bed” to the lady, and he lay down on the floor.
The next time they met, Peter stayed with Natalya...
A year after they met, Natalya became pregnant. The common-law husband was categorically against abortion. When his son Vanechka , Krasilov was stunned with happiness.
KRASILOV came to two-year-old Vanya’s birthday as a guest |
One day, wearing a white coat, he managed to enter the maternity hospital under the guise of a doctor.
I was busy with my little son. I bathed, swaddled, walked... Natalya naively believed that it would be like this forever. Everything changed after filming the series “Poor Nastya”. Krasilov did not leave the pavilion for days and nights and came home irritated. Natalya attributed everything to extreme fatigue... From that moment on, storms gave way to calms in their family life.
For his first big fee, Krasilov gave his wife a car. And when she started talking about buying a new apartment, he began to dissuade her - they say, don’t rush, a little later, it’s not time yet.
And then the husband began to disappear from the house more and more often - at first under plausible pretexts, and after some time he began to appear in it exclusively as a guest. And very rare. Natalya tried to find out what was going on, but Peter avoided answering. Later she learned that her beloved had become a victim of yet another female deceit.

Homewrecker Irina
A girl who came to conquer Moscow from Rostov-on-Don, seeing Krasilov for the first time backstage at the Russian Youth Theater, told her friend: “He will be my husband!” To which the friend replied: “Actually, he is married and has a little son.” The future star of a coffee commercial just chuckled in response. And she began to persistently seek the favor of the famous actor. She was then studying at the RATI on a course with the chief director of the youth theater and spent all her free time behind the scenes, trying to constantly be in Krasilov’s field of view. At the same time, she chose a very correct tactic: she pretended that she was completely indifferent to him. When Peter finally decided to meet, Irina, saying her name, asked: “What’s your name?” The goal was achieved.
Pyotr KRASILOV in the comedy “Everything is Mixed Up in the House” |
The famous actor (then the series “Poor Nastya” had just aired) was literally taken aback by such “impudence.”
The first step towards achieving the intended goal has been taken. All that’s left is to take her away from her wife, especially since Irina found out behind the scenes that it was a civil marriage. Feigning inaccessibility, Irina finally achieved her goal. Krasilov asked her for her phone number, which he wrote down on a napkin from the theater buffet. And... he didn’t call. Realizing that the victim was about to get off the hook, Irina decided to play off the offense.
“You know, Peter,” she said, looking down, “I want to give you friendly advice.” Never write down the phone numbers of girls you know on a napkin. This is inconvenient, napkins get lost.
This was enough for Krasilov to lose his head, and an affair began between them. Now it’s no longer a secret that it was Irina who gave her beloved an ultimatum - either I or my wife.

She proudly stated this in one of her interviews.
As they say behind the scenes of the theater, if this had not happened, Peter would hardly have decided to leave the family. And, according to Natalya Selivanova, Krasilov always gave in to making fateful decisions. Irina again insisted on officially registering the relationship.
On June 11, 2005 they got married. On May 31, 2006, their daughter Alexandra was born.
From the moment Irina became Krasilov’s official wife, Peter stopped touching on the topic of his past life in his interviews. As they say in the theater, Irina imposed this taboo. She insisted that they appear exclusively together at all social events. The second wife also became the “scriptwriter” of a soap opera called “The Past Life of Peter Krasilov” - in many of her interviews it was mentioned that Natalya was making a scandal and would not let Peter go. The actor's eldest son will soon turn eight years old, and during all this time, according to his first wife, dad saw him at most three times. She does not interfere with meetings. It’s not hard to guess who is prohibiting.
Theater
Pyotr Krasilov’s first place of work was the Soviet Army Theater, where the young actor simultaneously served in the army. From here the artist moved to the stage of the Sphere Theater. For some time, Peter served in Mark Zakharov’s Lenkom, but he was trusted only with appearances in the crowd.
Pyotr Krasilov in the theater
In 2001, the creative biography of Pyotr Krasilov took another turn: the young man was accepted into the troupe of the Russian Academic Youth Theater. On these stages, the artist first felt the taste of fame: he was offered a key role in the play “Erast Fandorin”. For this work, Pyotr Krasilov received the first prestigious award - the Seagull Prize.
Then there were brilliantly played roles in the plays “The Cherry Orchard”, “Red and Black”, “Yin and Yang”, “The Captain’s Daughter” and “Invitation to Execution”, staged on the RAMT stage. The artist’s popularity gained momentum, and soon directors of other theaters began inviting him.

The actor’s memorable theatrical projects were the roles of Ian in “Rock and Roll”, Truffaldino in “The Groom from the Other World” and Max in “A Wife for Two”. Petr Krasilov also takes part in the highly popular entrepreneurial performances of the Independent Theater Project “Boeing-Boeing”, “Theater with and without rules” and “Cruel Dances”.

Krasilov plays in several performances, he is the winner of the prestigious Golden Mask theater award for the role of Fandorin in the production of the Russian Academic Youth Theater, he starred in many TV series, but it was the series “Don’t Be Born Beautiful” and the project “Dancing” that brought him real, all-Russian fame on ice".
In the series, he convincingly played a rather complex, not entirely positive hero, and in “Dancing on Ice” he won, together with Olympic champion Oksana Grischuk. – Tell me, Peter, where do you feel more comfortable, on stage or in front of the camera?
– You know, I feel very comfortable everywhere. I feel great in my profession, I absolutely love it, I get such pleasure when this action happens, be it cinema, television or theater.
– Do you agree that it was the movies shown on TV that made you truly famous?
Brief questionnaire:
Are you friends with the Internet? I don't use the Internet. It happens, from time to time, to cheer myself up or humiliate myself (laughs), I sometimes climb. Depends on mood.
What is an unaffordable luxury for you? Castle with a dragon (laughs).
What animal do you identify with? Probably with some family member...
Did you have a nickname as a child? I don’t remember something... Maybe it didn’t happen.
Do you look at women as an actor or as a man? How to say! I look at women with a male gaze. From the perspective of an actor, I only look at them on the set or on stage, when I need to love or hate them according to the script. And in life I evaluate women as a man, as a person, like Pyotr Krasilov .
What turns you on? My job.
Are you a night owl or a lark? Lark.
Do you have a talisman? No, and I believe that each person makes his own destiny!
How do you relieve stress? Yes, I don’t have any special techniques...
What ringtone is on your mobile phone? Evanessence.
Favorite aphorism? “We need to love each other more, value our lives and those of other people.”
Best gift for you? Seven hours of sleep.
– You know, I somehow didn’t think about it. I am one of those actors who absolutely love doing their job, and when they also pay money for it and are recognized on the street, it’s absolutely great. Many people from our workshop say: “I dream of playing Hamlet...” or someone else like that. I don't dream, I just play with what they give, what they offer. After all, what if the role you’ve dreamed of all your life doesn’t happen? And what? In one’s declining years, the thought begins to linger that a creative life has not worked out. Nooo, I don’t want to be upset later, I’ll just play.
But if we face the truth, I am still much more of a theater actor, because even if we simply compare the number of performances in which I have played and am playing, and the number of films with my participation, the comparison will turn out to be significantly more in favor of the theater.
– Well, anyway, whose role is closer to you according to your temperament, the hero-lover or the villain?
– A villain-lover (laughs – author’s note). Well, it’s always interesting to play a villain, he’s usually a very complex character, and that’s always very interesting. And it’s a great skill if you can evoke sympathy for your negative character. Very few people succeed in this. Well, as for the hero-lover, his traits are characteristic of any man at a certain period of life, after all, everyone dreams of conquering all women with one look. It just goes away with age.
– Have you always wanted to become an artist?
– Yes, it’s hard to say... Actually, at first, already at a serious age, after school, I wanted to become a pharmacist, well, one who mixes different medicines. Such a strange dream for a teenager. But it so happened that I entered the theater. And I realized that I saved many sick people by not becoming a pharmacist (laughs - author's note). The fact is that I now have a clear and understandable feeling that not only do I really love my profession, but I also don’t know how to do anything else and couldn’t do it.
– Surely you have to sacrifice a lot for the sake of your profession?
– Yes, and sometimes it’s not very pleasant. We are not talking about such sacrifices as sleep, rest, and so on, here only you yourself suffer, but for example, when you refuse to meet with friends for the sake of work... Although that’s why they are real friends, to understand you. But such refusals should not be abused.
Well, not sleeping or not eating, not resting for the sake of filming or a performance - this is already a common thing.
– You see, I still can’t be called an insanely in-demand actor, sitting at home and lazily sorting through stacks of proposals. It’s not even that, it’s just that I’ve accomplished so little in my life that I’m interested in everything and want to try everything. Sometimes I don’t even know how to answer questions, because I haven’t tried this or that yet, I don’t know about something yet, and I don’t yet have my own opinion on some matter. I'm still young, green...
– But, nevertheless, “young and green” Pyotr Krasilov managed to get married.
- It's true! (Pretends to look important, but can’t resist and smiles).
But here’s the thing, here you don’t have much control over yourself, here everything is at the level of feelings, you live your life, then suddenly bam - she!
Then you are together with her for a month, two, five, again - you feel that you need to get married, otherwise you will lose. I’m talking about myself, of course, this is how it happened for me. Irina (Irina Shebeko, actress - author's note) and I had known each other for quite a long time, we had some kind of relationship, well, like everyone else, we fought and made up. And then suddenly a moment came when I felt something was wrong and said to myself: “So, Comrade Krasilov , if you don’t decide on something serious now, you’ll lose this man.” And here I must say that this thought came to me right during the performance, and during the intermission I called Irina and proposed to her. Like all beautiful, independent women, she replied: “I’ll think about it.”
– Tell me, Peter, civil marriage is so fashionable now, many of your colleagues in the shop prefer not to tie themselves into marriage, they say that real feelings are more important than the stamp in the passport.
– This is, of course, true, feelings are important. But for me, “a stamp in the passport”... How can I say this... Firstly, I’m probably just a person of a certain upbringing and for me marriage, a normal legal marriage, is natural. And then, it is very disciplined internally and makes you responsible.
In a civil marriage, there is always an easy way to solve problems - slam the door. Let’s say, you came home out of sorts, this, that, word for word, a scandal over nonsense, everything still affected your mood - and that’s it, please, you’re already thinking: “Let it all go to waste...” and slamming the door , gone. And then you cool down a little and you realize that you had a fight over something stupid, but you really love... But all people are different, and they may not accept you back. Or they will accept it, but there will be an unpleasant aftertaste, and for a long time.
– Who do you think is the boss in the family? Not in yours, but in general, in principle?
– And with me, both “in principle” and at home, it’s the same. I have quite an unconventional opinion on this matter, and I'm lucky to have met a woman who agrees with it. I think that there should not be leaders in the family. I’m talking about those families in which people marry as independent, mature individuals, as was the case with Irina and me. In this case, no one will strive for “dominance.” When you have already lived a little in the world, you already know how to respect others. I really like Irina’s character, she always says everything straight out, what she thinks, she cuts it without looking back. In general, she’s like me, determined. After all, I fell in love with her almost at first sight, but for some reason I couldn’t take the first step, not because I was shy, just... Well, I don’t even know why... We even talked on “you” for a long time. And then, I remember, one day he comes up and says: “Peter, you didn’t congratulate me,” I start mumbling something like “you weren’t there,” “I don’t have your phone number,” and the like. So she took out some kind of napkin, gave me a pen, and directly forced me to write down the phone number. And then, I only called three days later. And he immediately confessed his love to her.
– Do you agree that, as they say, “women and men descended from different monkeys”?
– Oh, from different ones... I understood a lot about these amazing creatures when I myself was in their shoes: I had to dress up as a woman, they offered me such a role in the series.
Previously, I, like many, thought that women wear trousers and sports shoes, unfeminine, ah-ah-ah... But I took pictures in zero degrees in a light skirt and blouse, with bare legs and high heels. And now it’s simply impossible to deny women the right to wear jeans and sweaters...
And heels too! Thank God that because of the Dancing on Ice project, at that time I practically lay down and stood up in skates. Therefore, walking in shoes was quite easy, since the sensations are very similar.
– Speaking of the project, how did you get there?
– Well, I just wanted to prove to myself that it was not in vain that I fell on the ice for six years as a child: I was involved in figure skating. Moreover, the coaches said that I have talent, but my fantastic laziness gets in the way. And when I was offered to participate, I agreed. But I fully realized what I had gotten myself into only when I recognized my partner. Well, that is, I knew that I would skate with the world’s only two-time Olympic champion in ice dancing, Oksana Grischuk, but we didn’t know each other. And just after talking, I was confused.
This was the first time I met a person with an “absolutely first” character. In everything, in any matter, she did not want to, physically could not, be second. Probably, only such people make champions. And then I’m like this... I came to have fun...
Only my natural diligence helped, and, of course, my partner. I somehow got infected from Oksana with this desire to win everything and always. She asked us to put on the most complex programs, and here... The result. Thanks her.
– How do you feel about criticism?
– Believe me, I’m not lying at all when I tell you that I love criticism. The fact is that I feel very uncomfortable, physically uncomfortable, when people praise me.
It’s strange, it seems like it should be pleasant, but the feeling of being lost, not knowing how to behave and what to do with oneself overpowers everything. They probably won't believe me, but it's true. I prefer statements about my work in the following form: “Here he was not bad, but here and here we need to work and work...” Well, something like that. And it’s also very pleasant to hear something like this from recognized masters, even if among ten critical comments there will be one positive, not even positive, but this is “nothing”, “not bad”.
– Can you formulate in words the main conclusion that you made from your life?
- Oh, well, you have questions... I don’t know about the main thing, but it seems to me that it is very important in life to try to realistically assess your capabilities and not be disappointed in case of failures. I remember that after the Shchepkinsky School, despite a fairly noticeable and successful graduation performance, they didn’t take me anywhere. Not to the theater, not to the cinema, nowhere. And I remember these thoughts: “Well, how can it be, I can do something that others cannot, I’m noticeable, and teachers praise me - but now I’m suffocating from offers to act in films, to act...” But it turned out - nothing like that, face into the mud bam, that's it. And no one needed me, with my wonderful, unique, as I thought, abilities. And here you can’t be disappointed: in life, in your favorite business, in anything. Then everything will be fine.
Movies
Pyotr Krasilov's cinematic career began somewhat later than his theatrical career: the artist made his film debut in 2003. In 2010, the actor appeared in Julia Aug’s tragicomedy “Sakura Jam” in the image of the director of an enterprise who is unable to establish relationships in the team. In the 2-part melodrama by the same Mikhail Tumanishvili “Strong Weak Woman,” Krasilov finds himself in a love quadrangle with Karina Andolenko, Ekaterina Klimova and Alexei Makarov.
The following year, Krasilov was seen in the 2nd season of the popular adventure series “Notes of the Forwarder of the Secret Chancellery,” in which he played Semyon Plakhov, a secret agency employee. Also in 2011, Pyotr Krasilov appeared in the detective melodrama “Surprise Me,” directed by Andrei Shcherbinin. According to the plot, the hero Krasilov has an affair with the heroine Svetlana Khodchenkova. In addition to them, Boris Galkin and Natalya Bardo starred in the film.
TV viewers and critics highly appreciated the work of Pyotr Krasilov in the 4-episode melodrama “My Mommy,” where the beloved actor played a monk, demonstrating his brilliant skills of transformation and ability to play in the most unexpected roles.

In the melodrama “When you come back, we’ll talk,” viewers again saw Peter in a starring role. The characters Krasilov and Andrei Fedinchik have the same first and last name, which leads to confusion when the plane the men were flying on crashes.
Peter had the chance to play the brother of Lyudmila Gurchenko’s mother in the biographical series of the same name. Julia Peresild dared to play the role of the famous actress and singer. The girl performed the songs “Five Minutes” and “Let’s Smoke” in the film. Frontman of the Lyube group Nikolai Rastorguev, in the guise of Gurchenko’s friend Mark Bernes, sang “Cranes” and “Moscow Windows”.

In 2020, two striking film-performances were released: “Invitation to Execution” and “Pokhodtsev and Two Others.” Both were staged on the stage of the Russian Academic Youth Theater, where Pyotr Krasilov serves.
The actor not only manages to star in new films, but also works a lot on stage. In 2020, on the stage of the RAMT, which had become his home, theatergoers watched Krasilov’s performance in the performances “Ladies night. Only for women", "Chekhov-GALA".

Peter is often invited to take part in popular television projects. In 2006, he became a participant in the show “Dancing on Ice,” beloved by millions, where, together with Oksana Grischuk, he reached the leadership position.
Perhaps the fact that the artist had learned to behave decently at the skating rink was decisive in choosing Peter for the main role in the sports drama “Queen of Ice.” The actor played the role of an ambitious young skater, the last hope of a coach played by Tatyana Dogileva. In the frame, the athlete and mentor were skating, which they wore in “Dancing on Ice.”

And in 2010, the artist again joined the list of participants in the ice show, but now it was “Ice Age”. Peter performed in pairs with Margarita Drobyazko. The audience especially remembered the dance “Cruel Romance”, which amazed with its passion and vivid emotions.
Pyotr Krasilov dreams of the red carpet
The actor believes in a happy accident, but refused to film in the series “Poor Nastya-2”
Last summer, filming of the continuation of the popular series “Poor Nastya” was supposed to begin. The script has already been written, the leading actors who starred in the first part of the series, Elena Korikova and Anton Makarsky, gave their consent.
But it was not possible to start filming. As we learned, actor Pyotr Krasilov (who played the young prince Mikhail Repnin in “Poor Nastya”; he is also known for his supporting role in the equally popular series “Don’t Be Born Beautiful”) refused to star in the sequel, thereby putting an end to the future of the television project .
Unexpected offer
We began our conversation with Pyotr Krasilov with the question of why he refused to participate in the filming of the series “Poor Nastya-2”.
— I didn’t like the script, that’s the whole point. It seems to me that it would be much more interesting to make a full-fledged film with a completely different, complete story than to suck out a multi-kilometer saga. This story has already been told, and it will be very difficult to surprise the viewer with something a second time.
— Are the other actors offended by you for refusing?
- This is the choice of everyone. At the moment I am interested in another job. And if I had agreed to the adventure with “Poor Nastya,” then I would not have had enough time for this work. I just do what I want and enjoy doing.
— Do you mean working in the film “Second Wind” directed by Mikhail Tumanishvili, which is being filmed by order of the Russian Ministry of Defense? They say you got there by accident?
- You can say so. Everything happens suddenly and by chance for me. They called me and said: “We want to invite you to the main role in Tumanishvili’s film. We'll send you the script by email now, so read it and we'll be waiting for you tomorrow.
I read the script and liked it. Okay, I think I'll go. Maybe something will come of this. The next day I arrived, and they immediately told me that for the role I would need to get a haircut, they asked me what size suit I was.
I say: “Wait, wait, what costumes, maybe another artist will act!” And they were dumbfounded: “What are you talking about, what kind of auditions, filming starts tomorrow!” That is, I didn’t even have time to think...
I have not met Tumanishvili before, but, one might say, I was brought up on his films. I think all the boys watched his “Solo Voyage”, everyone was a fan of the film “Accident - the Cop’s Daughter”... And I saw no obstacles to not filming.
— How long have you been waiting for such an offer?
— To be honest, at that time this role was simply necessary for me. And I haven’t worked in this genre yet - adventure cinema plus a human story about love and friendship.
As the director said, this film is not about the army, not about the everyday life of soldiers. We film about how people change because they do things that are typical of real people.
Strong and capable of madness in the name of saving the life of another person... It is impossible to live and remain human if you are cynical about everything. It is impossible to become a hero if you think that you are the superior race, and the rest are just servants.
At first my character thought so too, until he found himself in a certain situation. After all, he went to serve not of his own free will, but by the will of circumstances.
But since he was ambitious, this allowed him to achieve a lot and change himself for the better - to become more sensitive to people...
Theater stage
- Peter, you work on the same stage of the Russian Academic Youth Theater with your comrades, also better known as serial actors - Alexander Ustyugov, Nelly Uvarova... Don’t you compete with each other?
— Oddly enough, we don’t compete. We are all about the same age, we know each other well... We also have good relationships with the older actors. We infect them with our youth, and they share their experience.
And there is no such thing that we can say: “The old people are crushing us, they are not letting us breathe.” It seems to me that we were brought up at a time, pah-pah-pah, when we were given normal moral qualities that allow us to do without these intrigues and scandals.
— Do you think it’s an accident or a pattern that so many young talented actors have gathered in one theater?
— I think it’s a pattern. Alexey Vladimirovich Borodin, the artistic director of the theater, has an amazing instinct! He can unconsciously attract talented people to work.
And it turns out that mostly these are not only good artists, but also wonderful people. I'm not talking about myself now.
- But performances and rehearsals take a lot of time... Don’t you feel sorry for him?
— I believe that theater for an artist is a base that should not be lost. This is a huge experience - in the theater you can always test your acting skills. Theater is direct communication with the audience, always unforeseen situations.
And if you are in a bad mood, you have no right to play badly. In the theater you must always fight with circumstances and with yourself, confirming your professional suitability.
— You met your wife, actress Irina Shebeko, at RAMT. Why doesn't she work in the theater now?
“She didn’t want to connect her professional activities with the theater. But I didn’t put any pressure.
The right to choose
— The press writes that you stopped acting in TV series because of your high self-esteem. How would you comment on this?
- Regarding my coolness - this is, of course, strong! I don't consider myself that way. I don’t act in TV series for another reason. As I said above, it all depends on the script. If it’s good, I’ll star in at least a 300-episode series. For me, creativity is at the forefront of everything.
— Nikita Mikhalkov once said that in his films he does not cast actors who are “washed up” in TV series. Aren't you afraid of becoming one of them?
- Everyone has their own opinion on this matter. Some people don’t shoot famous artists at all, others only shoot famous artists and don’t shoot unknown but talented ones. So I’m not afraid of being left without work.
— Every actor has a dream to play one role or another. What is your dream role?
“It’s stupid to dream about something illusory.” And if it doesn’t work out, should I consider that I lived my life in vain?
For example, if I set a goal to play Don Quixote, do I need to stretch my legs, grow a beard, dye my hair, lose weight, go a little crazy and say: “I am Don Quixote! Take me down immediately!”?
I know only one thing: if there is a role and I like it, I need to agree. And then she will become both loved and significant. The profession of an actor is absolutely unstable, and it’s still useless to guess anything.
You can be a brilliant artist, but they won’t film you. Or, on the contrary, you can be mediocre, and they will shoot you. And you can’t fight this, this is life, and it will always be this way.
A good role is a matter of chance, roulette. And then, if you take the opportunity and do your job to the best of your ability, then maybe something will work out.
Or you can make no effort at all, and then you will never work in this profession again. Naturally, each artist has his own ambitions, everyone wants to act in full-length films and only with great directors.
Everyone wants to walk the red carpet in Cannes and Hollywood. And this is normal - in this profession there must be pride, otherwise you can forever remain behind the scenes.

Personal life
As a student at the Shchepkinsky School, Pyotr Krasilov met with fellow student and now famous actress Ekaterina Klimova, but the student romance turned out to be short.
The actor met his first wife Natalya Selivanova while working in the Soviet Army Theater. Natalya had already been married to her colleague Mikhail Bezobrazov and was in no hurry to walk down the aisle again. But after meeting Krasilov, the girl changed her attitude towards marriage and accepted Peter’s proposal.

The young people sympathized with each other from the first meeting. A son, Ivan, appeared in a civil marriage, but the child did not strengthen the couple’s relationship - the actors soon separated, having lived together for a total of about 2 years.
In 2005, Pyotr Krasilov’s personal life again began to sparkle with bright colors: he married actress Irina Shebeko. A year later, the couple had a daughter, Sasha. The family tries to spend as much time as possible together, but, as it became known, it is not so easy.

In 2020, information appeared that Irina went to study as a photographer in Los Angeles, taking her daughter Alexandra with her. In America, the family bought an apartment, Sasha goes to school and studies music. Therefore, the artist sees his family when school holidays come.
Pyotr Krasilov has established relations with his first family, in which his son is growing up. Before this, the actor did not communicate with Vanya, according to rumors, at the insistence of Irina.

On the social networks Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, Krasilov’s fans have created fan pages where they publish photos of their favorite, footage from films and theater projects. Peter does not have personal accounts yet.
In the early 2000s, the tall (height - 180 cm), handsome actor starred in a commercial, which he later recalled as a way to earn quick money. Having become famous after his role in “Poor Nastya,” Krasilov noted that he was unlikely to accept such offers again.
Personal life of Pyotr Krasilov
As a student at the theater school, Peter met with classmate Ekaterina Klimova.
Peter met his first wife while working at the Soviet Army Theater. Natalya Selivanova then played in the Sphere Theater. At the first meeting, the young people began to sympathize with each other. In a civil marriage they had a son. Soon Natalya and Peter separated, having lived together for about two years. When my son was one year old, he left. Now father and son see each other, although not as often as we would like. Ivan, Krasilov’s son, enjoys and is very successful in figure skating. They talk on the phone often.

Krasilov got married in 2005. His wife was Irina Shebeko - at that time still a student at GITIS, and now an actress. A year later, their daughter was born, who was given the name Alexandra. The spouses try to appear together at all events.
Peter participated in Dancing on Ice, where he performed in tandem with Oksana Grischuk. The guys became finalists of this show. It was then that his experience of figure skating as a child came in handy.
The actor loves active recreation, especially attractions. As Krasilov said, he can stay there for days. On the other hand, the actor is not against lounging around at home, relaxing, chatting with his family; Peter also knows how to find his charm in this.
Petr Krasilov now
“I don’t want to act in what they send me, and maybe they don’t send me good ones. Now I enjoy the theater work in which I participate. I accept this and try to come out of it with my head held high. You can film anywhere every day, but you won't like what happens there. Why get into trouble?
Petr Krasilov Now
the acting profession is dependent, and it is not the artist who decides whether to act or not to act. This is how Pyotr Krasilov explains why he stopped appearing on the silver screen and adding to his filmography.
On the theatrical stage, Krasilov realizes his dream of playing serious roles. The actor no longer appears in the image of Fandorin; he believes that the actions of young people are not characteristic of a middle-aged man. And in 2018, Peter was awarded the Theater Star Award for the best supporting role in the production of Democracy, in which he played a Stasi spy (counterintelligence of the GDR). Officials of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation had this character in mind when they nominated the artist for awarding the Certificate of Honor of the President of Russia.
Pyotr Krasilov and Andrey Bazhin in the play “Democracy” in 2020
In 2020, the Academic Youth Theater produced a play based on Tom Stoppard’s play “The Problem.” The heroes of the production are scientists from the Brain Institute. Therefore, as Peter explained, the relationship between a man and a woman, loneliness and the problem of choice are told through scientific terminology. And we must try to make the viewer understand behind the complex structures that we are talking about love.
