At the age of six, the boy Petya went on the ice, and since then his whole life has been devoted to the skating rink. According to him, already at that age he began not only to train a lot, but also to go to training camps and spend a lot of time outside the home. Of the three hundred and sixty-five days of the year, according to his calculations, he spent more than two hundred as a child and young man not with his parents! That is why, again from personal recollections, he grew up so independent and hardworking - after all, from an early age, Petya often found himself far from his father and mother, and was no longer forced to make childishly serious decisions himself. A little about his studies: Peter, despite frequent absences from classes, tried to study not just well: in the tenth grade he fell just short of achieving excellent grades and received a silver medal in the final exams.
Start of a sports career, departure abroad
His career as a figure skater began in the late 80s, Pyotr Chernyshev competed as a singles athlete. There are mentions in sports articles of those years that he was one of the few who were the first to master the triple jump - the young man showed great promise in figure skating.
