The only thing known for certain is that the singer has been interested in music since childhood, graduated from school with a silver medal and, in addition to secondary school, has an incomplete musical education in piano. After studying for 2 years at Gomel State University named after Francis Skaryna, he went to study in Germany, where he studied economics and political science for five years, but was never able to obtain a diploma.
His passion for rap prevented him from becoming a qualified specialist. It was in Germany that Parkhomenko, with the support of the performer Azad, recorded his first track 2 Kaiser, for which a video was subsequently shot. Sergei returned to his homeland with the conviction to continue the path of a hip-hop artist.
First steps in a musical career
Sergei was born in 1976 in the city of Gomel, Belarusian SSR. He does not like to talk about his childhood and parents, so there is no information about them. However, it is known that he experienced a love for music during his school years, thanks to which he learned to play the piano. After graduating from school, the young man entered the university, but two years later he left for Germany. Studying political science and economics in a foreign country, he quickly realized that this was not his business.

Fascinated by rap, Parkhomenko recorded his first track with the German artist Azad, called “2 Kaiser,” which immediately drew the attention of many producers. After staying in this country for five years, the aspiring singer returned to his homeland to pursue a musical career. In 2002, his first track “Ruin Lyalya” was released, and two years later a disc called “My Yard: Weddings and Funerals” was released, which appealed to Belarusian and Ukrainian music lovers.
Personal life
Sergei is extremely zealous about the topic of covering his personal life. There is little information on the Internet regarding his relationships with representatives of the fairer sex.
It is reliably known that while living in Germany, the singer briefly dated a girl named Michaela. Despite the musician's age, he was never officially married. “I haven’t had a single official marriage,” Parkhomenko admitted to StarHit, “I probably didn’t come across a woman with whom I could go to the registry office.”
His first common-law wife was model Dayami Morales, who for the sake of her husband changed her place of residence, moving from Cuba to Kyiv. As often happens, the marriage did not stand the test of fame. Due to endless tours, Sergei did not have time to arrange his family life. Sergei did not intend to spend the rest of his days alone and a couple of months after the breakup he began an affair with his old friend Polina Ololo. In the spring of 2009, his lover gave the rapper a son. The boy was named Mark. After another 3 years, Plato was born. For the first time, the musician showed his sons in the video for the song “Your Favorite Clown.” The family idyll, which the artist often demonstrated through numerous photos on his pages on social networks, also failed to be preserved.
Information leaked to the press that the famous performer Nastya Kamenskikh is expecting twins from Sergei. The singer hastened to refute the rumors, saying that this was a joke by his fellow rapper Potap, which he did not consider funny.

Despite his relatively young age, the guy has already visited 67 countries. But this is just the beginning. The blogger sees a hundred countries located in different parts of the planet as his goal.
When traveling abroad, Simonov not only shares his impressions, but also gives valuable advice to his subscribers. Which hotel is better to stay in, what to buy as a souvenir, where to have a good lunch - the blogger tells all this in his regular videos.
During his travels, Sergei often conducts interviews. Moreover, his lens includes not only citizens or workers passing by, but also very famous personalities. In the winter of 2004, Parkhomenko first appeared on the Ukrainian TV channel M-1. In the same year, the rapper released an album called “My Yard: Weddings and Funerals,” which very quickly conquered the music market of Belarus and Ukraine. The same disc with a slightly modified title (“My Yard: Sports Ditties”) was also published in Russia. Video clips were shot for the title tracks of the album “Doll”, “Roined Lyalya” and “Black Boomer”.
The song “Black Boomer” had the effect of a bomb exploding when it appeared on radio stations. The track was nominated for the MTV Russian Music Awards in two categories at once - “Best Hip-Hop Project” and “Best Debut of the Year”. The composition became the leader of the charts of music television channels (Muz-TV, MTV) and radio stations (Dynamite FM, Russian Radio, Europe Plus).
In 2005, the no less successful album “Discomalaria” was released with the title track “Near Your House”. It is reliably known that the track “Discomalaria” was heard in the film “Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon,” but it is not on the official list of soundtracks. At the beginning of 2006, Seryoga’s video “Chalk of Fate” (“Song of Tamerlane”) was released. The composition was written specifically for Timur Bekmambetov’s film “Day Watch”.
Seryoga - “Black Boomer”
In 2007, under the pseudonym Ivanhoe, he released the disc “Not for Sale,” and in 2008, the albums “Chronicle of a Boy from the Gomel Streets” and “About Fashionable Girls and Unfashionable Boys.” The tracks “Circulating”, “Aggrobabruisk” and “The Show Must Go On” were especially loved by listeners. Few people know, but Sergei became the first artist to officially receive permission to borrow a sample of the song The Show Must Go On by Queen with vocals by Freddie Mercury.
Sergei Parkhomenko is known both to fans of recitative music and to fans of computer games. In Grand Theft Auto IV, the artist's compositions “Invasion” (Liberty City: The Invasion) and “King Ring” were performed.
After the creative crisis of 2012–2013, the rapper returned to the musical Olympus and in the fall of 2014, under the new pseudonym Seryoga, released the album “50 Shades of Gray,” showing everyone that he is full of strength for new victories and achievements. In September 2020, Seryoga presented a new musical project “Poligraph SharikOFF”. “This is also me, but a completely different side of me. I believe that the height of skill is to write cheerful hooligan songs when you feel bad,” said the singer. In April 2017, the singer shot a video for the song “Antifreeze”, in which he criticized many representatives of the domestic hip-hop industry. Rapper Basta saw references to his works in the composition.
After the premiere of the video, Vasily Vakulenko published a post on his Twitter account in which he called Serega a “Belarusian broom” and harshly criticized his work. On the social network VKontakte, the performer of the hit “Black Boomer” left a message for the beatmaker. In it, the man invited his colleague to resolve the conflict on the “Versus Battle” show. Basta ignored Parkhomenko’s invitation and, in his characteristic manner, reduced everything to a joke.
In addition to his career as a hip-hop performer, Sergei Parkhomenko also proved himself as a producer. In 2005, he founded his own label KingRing, where Max Lawrence, Satsura, ST1M, SD, ST and Seryoga himself were released.
— Yes, Bulgakov had such a character, but he was written differently, and for me SharikOFF is a mixture of noble and courtyard. If we talk about Bulgakovism, then he is, rather, a character from Woland’s retinue - Azazello and Koroviev. But my and Bulgakov’s Sharikov - this character is not so simple, he is half dog, half man. In the image of Polygraph, I embody my fashion ideas, but I don’t invent anything, they’re just echoes of retro classics. This is British style - an eight-piece cap, a Tom Ford shirt, a London collar and a gray suit.
— In the video “Gelik Vani” you drove cars in a wedge around Moscow. Is this deliberate banter at the FSB graduates who rode around Moscow in the same Gelendvagens about a year ago, or did you just want a pretty picture?
- Yes, it was a deliberate provocation on my part. This entire scene, when many Gelendvagens are driving along Kutuzovsky Prospekt, was directed by me. I personally controlled this entire armada. We did not have permission to block it, because this is a government highway, and there are cars on it at any time of the day. Therefore, I made sure that we blocked it ourselves in a few seconds. The whole difficulty was to line up in such a battle formation that no one could overtake us and destroy this formation.
— All Polygraph clips are made with humor. Who writes the scripts for them, and are you personally involved in their writing?
— I almost always co-direct and participate in the development of the smallest details - I cast actors, select clothes, etc.
— In several clips you have such a detail - a small Spitz dog appears in them. Why?
- This is from my life. I gave this dog to my girlfriend and its appearance in the video is a playful trolling. Although I myself don’t like this breed at all, I would never get such a dog for myself. I like cats.
— With the growing popularity of Polygraph, Seryoga goes into the shadows or disappears altogether?
— There is no need to compare these two projects. There was a division by audience. Seryoga has done a lot lately, releasing several very tough videos - “Antifreeze”, “Rage”, “Corridor”. Now it's more underground. And I don’t even want the audience who loves Polygraph to listen to Seryoga. Polygraph is a holiday, jokes, joy and fun. And Seryoga is retribution and a weapon.
— Is that why you often perform before boxing matches as Seryoga?

— The songs of Polygraph SharikOFF were not played, and they still are not played - both without quotas and with quotas. So I didn't feel any difference myself. And I’m all for the fact that now more Ukrainian tracks will be played on Ukrainian radio. The Ukrainian language is wonderful and melodious, and you have wonderful artists. I think it is necessary to promote the Ukrainian language through music and send artists on tour to Russia so that they earn money there and return back to the country.
— I know that you invited Basta to a rap battle. How did this story end? And what do you think is the reason for his crazy popularity, that he has already twice gathered the largest indoor venue “Olympic” in Moscow (36 thousand people in total)?
- Basta has not yet accepted my offer. He is a great guy and businessman. Vasya spent a long time building his success story, so he can collect at least ten Olympic medals. He will continue to collect them for a long time, even when he ends as an artist and his songs run out.
— What is the reason for the crazy growth in the popularity of Russian rap, not only in Russia, but also in Ukraine?
— In this genre, sincerity is important and there is an opportunity to swear and talk about topics that are not talked about at all or are not so acute in ordinary pop music. Additionally, each genre has its own golden period. Now it's time for rap, which is what rock used to be. In the same way, it will go away in due time. But what is popular now is less and less like rap. Rappers began to sing more and more, intoning and using auto-tune - the beats became beautiful and sweet. In fact, it's now pop music.
— I remember you had difficulties performing in Belarus, despite the fact that you are a citizen of this country. You were almost banned from holding concerts there. Has the situation changed somehow?
- It is not true. I have never been banned from holding concerts in any country. But despite this, I only had one concert there the whole time. They don't call anymore.

Movies and TV shows
In 2008, the rapper was invited to express himself in dubbing. In the cartoon "Madagascar 2" the hippopotamus Moto-Moto speaks in his voice. In addition, the Russian-language texts for the soundtrack of the film were written by him. In 2010, Sergey tried on the role of a jury member. In the music show “X-Factor” (Ukraine), he not only judged performances, but was also a producer of musical categories (“Collectives”, “Over Twenty-Five”, “Guys”, “Girls”). At the show, the singer spoke unflatteringly about one of the contestants under the pseudonym Monatik, predicting an unimportant career for him in show business. Years later, Monatik gained great popularity and became a judge on the project “Dancing with the Stars,” in which Sergei was one of the participants. The KingRing label also included a Moscow rapper who was noticed by Seryoga. He was given assistance in recording a solo album, in which the entire label took part. But then ST realized that he didn’t like this kind of music and left the label.

According to Polina Ololo, the ex-husband took the children and is preventing any contact with the mother, who does not even know the whereabouts of her sons. “The most important thing for me is that we are together, I am looking for them and will definitely find them,” she wrote on Instagram, where she covers all the news on this case. The singer's ex-wife gives many interviews and urges people to help her get in touch with her children. According to the latest information, Sergei took his sons to Crimea so that they would be as far away from their mother as possible. Parkhomenko himself refrains from commenting.
Sergei is seriously seeking to obtain Ukrainian citizenship. The singer lives in Kharkov and notes that he loves this city.
In the musical field, everything is going well for the artist, he continues to release fresh singles and gives numerous concerts. The predominant project for Sergei today is “Polygraph SharikOFF”. During a creative crisis, the hip-hop artist began working on radio and television. On the radio station “Humor FM” he hosted his own column, where he also performed ditties. It is not surprising that after this Parkhomenko again attracted attention, thanks to which he was invited to take part in the show “Weighted and Happy People” on the STS channel as a coach. During the program, the rapper intends to train the participants of the show differently than in other seasons, and become a real guide for his team.
Failed marriages and raising sons
Sergei does not like to advertise his personal life, preferring to talk about his career successes. Now he is free from marriage and has no intention of getting married in the near future. It is reliably known that his wife was the Cuban model Dayami Morales, who lived with him in Kyiv. However, due to frequent tours, this union quickly fell apart.

The song “Black Boomer” was a hit in the mid-2000s. It sounded from everywhere: in minibuses, from the windows of houses and mobile phones. The previously unknown author and performer of the composition, the Belarusian rapper Seryoga, instantly became popular. The period of glory was short-lived. Partly, the singer was let down by his tendency to vacillate and eternally search for something new. The situation on the music market also changed: interest in pop culture began to fade and the music of “street hooligans” faded into the background.
