Tatyana Mitkova, biography: family and childhood
She was born on September 13, 1955 (or 1957). Her native and most beloved city is golden-domed Moscow. What kind of family did the future TV presenter grow up in? Tatyana's father was a Soviet officer serving in foreign intelligence. And her mother was an employee of the USSR Embassy in Switzerland. But after the birth of her daughter, she became a housewife.
Tanya grew up as an active and intelligent child. From an early age she showed interest in music and could spend hours listening to records with songs by Soviet performers. The parents sent their daughter to one of the prestigious schools in Moscow - an institution with in-depth study of the English language.
As a teenager, Mitkova Jr. began attending a dance club and vocal studio. Our heroine also spent her free time at the skating rink. In a short time she managed to learn how to skate.
Television career
During her student years (during her internship), Tatyana Mitkova ended up in Ostankino. At first, the girl was an editor's assistant. Soon management appointed her to the position of special correspondent. Many of you may have seen Tanya in the television projects “120 Minutes” and “International Panorama”.
In those years there was strict censorship on TV. The presenters had to cover political events in the world, adhering to the “general line” of the channel. However, Mitkova turned out to be not a very flexible employee. For example, when covering the Falklands conflict, Tatyana expressed her approval of the actions of Great Britain and the United States. Later, in one of the broadcasts, she called on Soviet military leaders to withdraw troops from Afghanistan. And in January 1991, Tatyana Rostislavovna refused to cover the events taking place in Vilnius. After that she had to quit.
In August 1991, Mitkova returned to Ostankino. She was appointed presenter of daytime broadcasts on Channel One.
In October 1993, Tatyana Rostislavovna was offered a job at the newly created NTV television company. And she agreed. Until July 2004, our heroine hosted the evening editions of the “Today” program. The whole country fell in love with the charming journalist. At various times, her co-hosts on the “Today” program were Mikhail Osokin, Petr Marchenko and Kirill Pozdnyakov.
In 2001, a split occurred in the creative team of NTV. Mitkova did not support the majority of journalists and her immediate superior E. Kiselev. These people left the channel. Soon a meeting was held at which the rest of the team chose Tatyana as editor-in-chief of the Information Service. That's not all. In July 2004, she received a new position - deputy general director of the NTV channel.
When did the Moscow State University graduate become a presenter again? This happened in October 2011. The beautiful Tatiana appeared in the updated program “Today. Results on NTV." This program aired until 2014.

On the eve of NTV's 25th anniversary, the channel will premiere. Famous Russian journalist Tatyana Mitkova, who has been working at the television company since its founding, is again on camera in the “Cool Story” project.
Tatyana is the author and presenter of the new project. This is a story about real “wonderful people” - professionals who are passionate about their work. Each of them is a bright personality, and the author of the program is interested in the work of the hero, and life outside it, and, most importantly, his ideas and principles. To understand and tell what motivates an outstanding person, what once determined his choice, and what it was like for him to live with it is the task of a journalist.
Tatyana chooses the meeting place with the hero, knowing how important it is for him. The journalist met with surgeon Dmitry Kanner, the youngest head physician of one of the most famous cancer hospitals, at the clinic before a risky operation. Dmitry was preparing to operate on his colleague, an oncologist surgeon. With Nyuta Federmesser, Tatyana went to a village charity house and recorded an interview at the First Moscow Hospice. With scientist Artyom Oganov, who is called a future Nobel laureate, the journalist studied the properties of crystals in his laboratory. And with the entrepreneur and philanthropist Alexander Lebedev, I crossed the Alps and saw the monument to the Russian army restored by him.
«My heroes can be called winners. Everyone has different stories - some had turning points in their lives, others persistently and smoothly walked towards their goal, others overcame themselves. What they have in common is an inner conviction that allowed them to achieve their current status, when their activities evoke, if not admiration, then sincere respect. These people do not strive for publicity, they avoid talking about themselves, but they can talk about the business they live for hours. As an actor, Vladimir Mashkov is also our hero
»,
– says Tatyana Mitkova.
In the first episode of the new project, Tatyana Mitkova meets with Pavel Fomenko, an employee of the World Wildlife Fund. He calls himself a "tiger lawyer" and saves wild animals from people. In March of this year, after a collision with a predator, he ended up in intensive care and while in the hospital he wrote the story “The Kiss of the Tigress.” Having barely recovered, Pavel returned to work - nothing can stop the “Hero of the Planet,” as the American Time magazine called Pavel Fomenko. And this is a really cool story.

Filmography
Our heroine has no acting education. However, this did not stop her from getting into the film industry. In 1993, Tatyana was approved for a small role (TV presenter) in the tragicomedy “Sensation”. Mitkova’s colleagues on the set were Tatyana Pankova, A.V. Petrenko and Misha Kapralov.
In 2000, the second film with her participation was released. We are talking about the detective-crime series “Kamenskaya”. She played the TV presenter again.
And in the TV series “Truckers” (2001), Tatyana Mitkova turned into an announcer. She coped with this task brilliantly. In 2007, our heroine’s creative repertoire was replenished with a cameo role in the melodrama “Vanechka”.
Personal life of Tatyana Mitkova
The TV presenter and actress registered the relationship at the registry office twice. She, like a real intelligence officer’s daughter, carefully hides her personal life from outside interference. However, we still managed to find some information.
Her first husband was Vsevolod Solovyov, an international journalist. In this marriage, a son, Dmitry, was born in 1984. He has grown up a long time ago. The guy did not follow in his parents' footsteps. Dima is interested in auto racing and photography. Recently, a young man made Tatyana Mitkova a grandmother, which she is incredibly happy about.
The current husband of our heroine is a man far from television and cinema. Unfortunately, his first name, last name and age are not disclosed. It is only known that the man is engaged in financial transactions on the stock exchange.

Tatyana Mitkova disappeared from television screens several years ago and practically did not appear on camera. The leadership position occupied by the famous NTV presenter does not allow her to comment on this or that issue, since she herself is an information source.
Tatyana Mitkova returns to television
The journalist believes that alternative sources of information have now appeared to television.
“I can’t say that I feel very comfortable as a participant in the television process. Of course, television is part of our media. But it seems to me that this is a part that is losing its influence every day,” Tatyana noted.
According to the presenter, now many, including herself, learn news from the Internet.
Despite the fact that Tatyana refused to give interviews for a long time, this time she decided to talk about her loved ones. She stated that her family never discouraged her from quitting her job and doing something else. However, Mitkova is not going to give up what she devoted almost 30 years of her life to. To quickly regain strength and be in a good mood, Mitkova goes in for sports.
“I play tennis twice a week at eight in the morning. And I play on weekends. And now I’m still skiing, I even opened the season on the weekend - near Moscow, of course,” Mitkova shared in an interview.

Speaking about the family, the journalist noted that she never put pressure on her son and did not demand that he follow her example. She was of the opinion that the heir should decide for himself which path to choose. She is trying to raise her grandson using the same system. Tatyana became a grandmother almost nine years ago, but never announced this to the public. Mitkova spends a lot of time with the boy, and is preparing a surprise for his birthday. The family will go skiing in the Krasnodar region.
Tatyana admitted to the TV program that she did not want to impose anything on her grandson, since it was too early for him to think seriously about the future.
“Seva was on television, he likes everything. But he likes a lot of things, so we'll see. Let a person experience this world. When you're nine years old and fixate on one thing, I don't think it's right. Only if these are superpowers, and it is clear that the whole life can be connected with this. I never pushed my son to do anything, so I won’t push my grandson either. I would like him to simply grow up to be a versatile, decent, good person,” the TV presenter said frankly.
