His mother’s nationality is Crimean Tatar; she always took care of the history and culture of her people and even in her childhood she sang beautiful national songs and danced. At birth, her name was Ulker, which translated from Tatar means Polar Star, but while studying at a Russian school, she took the Russian name Olga.

Soon, family happiness was overshadowed: the boy’s father left the family, and after a while the family learned that Myasnikov Sr. had been diagnosed with kidney cancer. The man was treated and was able to live another ten years, dying at the age of 45. Little Sasha loved his famous grandfather very much and spent all weekends with him. His grandson learned worldly wisdom from him and even then learned a lot of interesting things about his future profession. But his grandfather soon passed away when the future physician turned 12 years old.

The young man, whose fate had long been sealed, could not choose another profession and after graduating from school he went to apply to the Pirogov Medical Institute. After receiving his diploma, he continued his studies at the Institute of Clinical Cardiology, which was named after his grandfather, where he completed his residency and postgraduate studies.
Family
Alexander Myasnikov’s second wife’s name is Natalya, she and her husband endured the hardships of life in Africa and difficult years in America. At the age of 40, she gave birth to her beloved son Leonid (and at first her husband insisted on terminating the pregnancy, fearing for his wife’s health).
The couple also went through a difficult period when Alexander became interested in another woman. Today his daughter Polina is growing up from this relationship. The difficult job of a doctor
Having defended his PhD thesis, the aspiring doctor went to Mozambique, where he was sent with a group of geologists as a full-time doctor. At that time, hostilities were unfolding in South Africa, and Alexander had to treat the wounded and save children from death. Over the years of working in a hot spot, he learned a lot, including how to conduct complex operations and quickly navigate military field conditions. The doctor was then sent to a military hospital in Angola, where he worked until 1989. After returning home, he continued his activities by getting a job in a cardiology center. In the early 90s, Myasnikov was offered a position as a doctor at the Russian embassy in France; there he collaborated with Parisian colleagues for three years and resolved issues related to public health.

In the mid-90s, Alexander Leonidovich worked in one of the medical centers in New York and at the same time improved his professional level. Having achieved the title of doctor of the highest category, the man returned to Russia, where he opened his own clinic. Armed with new knowledge, he applied the experience of foreign colleagues and equipped his hospital in accordance with international standards.

Natalya dreamed of becoming a mother, and when at the age of forty she found out about her pregnancy, she immediately decided to give birth. Alexander Leonidovich initially took this news with hostility and suggested she have an abortion, but his wife refused.
