Childhood
Artyom was born (that is the name of the future rapper), and lived for some time in Ufa with his parents. Then they moved to Komsomolsk-on-Amur, then again to Ufa. Artyom studied at the gymnasium and was fond of graffiti. At that time he was a member of the “Never Been Crew” - a thematic party that was dedicated to graffiti. At this time, Artyom came up with a pseudonym for himself - Depo. Even as a teenager, he became interested in music. In 10th grade, he gradually loses interest in graffiti. Then Artyom decides that he wants to create and record something of his own. Then he spent most of his time hanging out with friends and smoking soft drugs. This was a kind of impetus that gave rise to the emergence of his “stoned” style.
Boulevard Depot as a child
Depo creates the first recordings of tracks using cheap equipment, using a low-quality microphone. His first tracks sounded like lame and dark rap. After a while, Artyom decided to add a second word to his pseudonym Depo - Boulevard. He wanted to stand out among other rappers, so he came up with the idea of a pseudonym: Artyom lived on one of the boulevards of Ufa, which was a favorite hangout place for guys like him.
Artyom writes songs, but his fame does not extend beyond the company. His tracks are mostly listened to by friends and acquaintances. Hera Ptah helps Artyom get into a professional recording studio. He records several tracks and posts them on the Internet. At this moment, Artyom had no great plans for these songs, as he recorded them out of boredom.
The guy graduated from high school and entered a university at the Faculty of Law, but was unable to complete his studies and receive a diploma. The reason he left the university was that he chose to develop in the musical field. During this time, he made a living working as a cook.

Growing up
Artem began attending the lyceum. After lessons he preferred to play with the guys. Together they learned the laws of the city streets and participated in various brawls. He also joined the creative association “Never Been Crew”. He was fond of drawing graffiti. For the light of applying special images on buildings and structures of the city, Artem had the opportunity to share his emotions and experiences with other people.
He has always been a creative, subtle person, and therefore this direction helped him in self-expression. Then he took the nickname Depo. Under each of his drawings, he applied it, giving a sign that this was the work of his hands.
In 10th grade I became interested in music. He was so carried away by his new direction that he could not imagine his life without rap. He found like-minded people among his peers.
In the company Artem was with, some of the guys took light drugs. This fact ultimately had a strong influence on the artist’s future style.
Boulevard Depo rapper
In 2009 Artyom moved to St. Petersburg. After the move, he presents “Place of Distribution” to the public.
Boulevard Depo, Hera Ptah and rapper i61 (iSix Van) decide to create the group “L'Squad”. They record tracks together. Their work did not gain much popularity. In 2012, rapper i61 left the group, but continues to collaborate with Artyom.
In the summer of 2012, Boulevard Depo released the mixtape "EvilTwin". It consisted of nine tracks. In the same year, Artyom and ISix Van released the track “Iraq”.
An aspiring rap artist is interested in the work of others: he listens to “FM-666” and gets acquainted with the tracks of this amateur program from St. Petersburg. In the future, this influenced his musical work.

How it became popular
In 2013, Artyom released the album “Dopey”. It consisted of eight songs. It included a remix of “They Won’t Catch Up with Us” (“Tattoo”). Listeners received this album well. In it, Artyom touched on the topic of drugs.
And 2014 became a busy year in the life of Boulevard Depo. He becomes one of the founders of “YungRussia” (a creative association in Ufa). This association included three other groups, including Dead Dynasty. Artyom was its brain center: he is part of the group as an independent artist. In May he released the album “Rapp”, recorded together with Jeembo and i61.
Boulevard Depo simultaneously collaborates with Dead Dynasty. He meets Pharaoh. They release the track "Champagne Squirt" (October 2014). Soon, Artyom and other participants will go on the “YungRussia Showcase Tour” to demonstrate their creativity in other cities.

In 2020, Artyom released several works. At the beginning of the year, “Paywall” was released from 6 tracks - his joint creation with Pharaoh'n. In April they released a video for the previously created song “Champagne Squirt”. The clip was appreciated by many: it received more than 1 million views, and therefore Depot Boulevard and Pharaoh received a universal calling.

Further creativity
Artyom releases “OCB Smoking Raw” of 7 tracks (2015). A little later, he, together with the members of “Dead Dynasty”, released a mixtape “Otricala” of 9 tracks. And on February 24, 2016, Artyom and Pharaoh demonstrated their jointly created work “Plaksheri”. In September 2020, a video for the song “5 Minutes Ago” was released. The video went viral: it received more than 30 million views in less than a year.
Boulevard Depo PHARAOH — 5 minutes ago
Together with rapper i61, Artem releases the albums “Rare Gods 1”, “Rare Gods 2” in 2020. The first consists of 6 “stoned” tracks, and the second of 8 songs in a psychedelic and chaotic format - future rap.
Music
Artem recorded his debut songs at home using primitive equipment. The first audience was friends and acquaintances, among whom there was a person who offered to help the rapper with professional design of the tracks. At first, Shatokhin took the short pseudonym Depo, and later decided to add the word “boulevard” to it - Boulevard. After graduating from school, the young man entered a university at the Faculty of Law, but he was of little interest in studying. He devoted himself to music, and to earn money he worked as a cook in a local catering establishment.
Rapper Boulevard Depo
An important stage in the biography of Boulevard Depo was the move to St. Petersburg in 2009, where new opportunities opened up for him. At this time, the musician presented the public with a new collection, Place of Distribution. Together with 2 friends, he founded the group L'Squad, with which they began to give their first concerts, but the group did not last long.
A friend named i61 left L'Squad after 3 years, and the second member Hera Ptah also quickly lost interest in the project. Left alone, Boulevar Depo recorded the EvilTwin mixtape, but only the next record, Dopey, made it popular.
Boulevard Depo song "I'm flying"
Artem finds rap music quite boring and strives to bring originality to it. During his first experiments, he came to the conclusion that the cloud-rap style suited him best, in which no Russian musician had ever worked before. The peculiarity of the style is the “foggy” sound, the desire to make the sound a little mystical. Cloud rap is also characterized by melancholic, dreamy lyrics on lyrical themes, which is close to the musician. Boulevard Depo says that since childhood he has been prone to a gloomy outlook on life:
“All this negative connotation has been in my blood since childhood.”
The song “Champagne Squirt” by Boulevard Depo and Pharaoh
The new album includes 8 tracks, the most famous of which is the remix of the “Tatu” song “They won’t catch us.” In 2014, the rapper met colleague Gleb Golubin (Pharaoh), and together they recorded the song “Champagne Squirt.” Subsequently, the first video in the musician’s career was shot on it. A video of stunning girls in the bathroom went viral and quickly gained millions of views on YouTube.
2015 turned out to be very productive for Boulevar Depo. In addition to the release of the new album Rapp, in the recording of which rappers i61 and Jeembo helped him, the musician became the founder of the YungRussia association and took part in the recording of the Paywall album. At the end of the year, the performer pleased fans with another album, Otricala. Of the 13 tracks, 3 became popular: “Denied”, “Mom’s Jacket” and “Pavel Topsky”.
Boulevard Depo and Pharaoh's song "5 minutes ago"
A couple of months later, “Plaksheri” was released - the fruit of the joint work of Boulevard Depo and rapper Pharaoh. The title of the collection is made up of 2 words – “luxury” and “cry”. The video for the song “5 Minutes Ago,” shocking and daring, became another YouTube hit. In 2016, the musicians continued to work together, recording the album Rare Gods. Friends - Obe Kanobe and Thomas Mraz - helped the rappers with it.
A year later, Boulevar Depo's discography was replenished with the albums Sport and Sweet Dreams. The musician also published a video for the song Carousel, filmed using the 360-degree technique.
Latest works Boulevard Depo
The album “Sport” was released in 2020. It is a collaboration between Artyom, Jeembo, i61 and DIE4R. The album consists of 5 songs. Afterwards, the EP “Sweet Dreams”, created from 10 tracks, was presented. Famous Addonis, Glebasta Spal and Pharaoh featured in it.
for the song “ Carousel ” with a viewing angle of 360 degrees. The video collected 600 thousand views in a month on YouTube.

Personal life
Artyom is not married, he has no children. Loves video games, parties and relaxing surrounded by friends and girls. As for music, he listens to everything, starting with American blues of the 50s. to electronics and dubstep.
Partying in a club after a performance is not for him, as the rapper admits in an interview. For Artyom, a lot depends on his mood, including his work - writing tracks. But he always tries to give his best at concerts. Wikipedia also gives an idea of the rapper’s biography and work; there are official accounts on Instagram and Twitter.

Jacques-Anthony
In 2020, on his Instagram account, Artyom posted a photo in which he allegedly urinated on a minibus with the symbols of Jacques-Anthony’s Reigun Records label. Subsequently, Jacques wrote several angry tweets on his Twitter account, in which he threatened Artyom with violence[35]. A year later, Jacques spoke on the “Vpiska” show about meeting Artyom at one of the parties. Jacques said that they had a good conversation and he does not hold a grudge against Artyom because of the conflict a year ago[36].
Pharaoh
On February 9, 2020, Pharaoh performed at the birthday party of Russian football player Fedor Smolov. A little later, Artyom wrote on his Twitter: “Shoot me if I suddenly fit in to speak at corporate events, by God.”
.
Many listeners of both artists believed that this tweet was addressed specifically to Gleb[37]. In the spring of 2020, Artyom took part in the show “Find out in 10 seconds.” One of the songs planned by the presenters was Pharaoh’s track “One.” Artyom began to randomly name the names of Flesh and Travis Scott, after which he said: “Come on, I’m kidding, I know who it is
.
Moreover, he did not mention Gleb’s name or pseudonym[38], but the answer was still counted. Gleb stated that he had not quarreled with anyone and Artyom himself was offended for some reason [37]. Gleb also spoke positively about him in an interview with Vogue magazine, calling Artyom his friend[39]. In an interview with Esquire Russia, Boulevard Depo said that communication came to naught due to the vile, vile attitude towards the guys (who were in DD), performers from Ufa [ source not specified 41 days

Oxxxymiron
In May 2020, Oxxxymiron on his Twitter account compared the title and cover design of the single of his artists from “Booking Machine” Thomas Mraz and Markul Sangria
with a little later released the single of the American artist Pharrell Williams “Sangria Wine”, slightly grinning at his Western music colleagues. In response to this, Artyom wrote that Oxxxymiron had gone crazy. He replied that he had gone crazy a long time ago and that this was just a joke, and his accusation of plagiarism should not be taken seriously. To which Artyom replied that Oxxxymiron often speaks seriously about such topics. This concluded the dialogue between the two performers[40].
Kizaru
The conflict began when, from the beginning of 2020, Kizaru began to speak unflatteringly about the YungRussia association and its members in his broadcasts on Periscope. In response to this, in July 2020, Artyom posted on his Instagram account a screenshot from the game Pokemon Go, which shows that the rat-like character was renamed Kizaru. On the same day, Oleg left an angry comment with insults and threats against Artyom, which was not followed by any replies. 2 years later, on October 26, 2020, Kizaru published a tweet in which he said that “due to the federal search, he cannot even open an individual entrepreneur”
.
In response to this, Boulevard Depo wrote, allegedly “what is the use of the Russian federal wanted list if you are in Barcelona
. After this, a skirmish between the artists began on Instagram, during which Artyom wrote that Kizaru was “hyping” in his position, and Oleg called Artyom “abnormal” many times. In the end, Artyom asked Oleg to block him on Twitter, which was done.
Flash
In the fall of 2020, Flesh released a music video for the song Space Jam
, after which Pavel received a barrage of criticism from listeners and accusations of plagiarism of the Playboi Carti
What
and Machine Gun Kelly
Wild Boy
.
On his Twitter account, Pavel wrote a post in which he partially denies all the accusations against him and offered to find at least two analogues for any named artist, to which Artyom rather boldly “sent him to hell.” In response to this, Pavel wrote that he always respected his movement “YungRussia”, and also that Artyom should not talk to him like that. Artyom wrote that i61 taught Pavel everything and that he previously respected him too and called Pavel a “leech that sucks the style”
of other performers, which half of the country doesn’t like for this. Pavel further admits that collaborating with i61 has brought him a lot of experience, and also invited Artyom to listen to his upcoming music album and express an honest opinion about it. As a result, Pavel admitted that in his dialogue with Artyom he “went too far” with statements addressed to him, and also that artists with an original style are still present in Russia[41].
