Why the new video clip of the performers is criticized

Social media users argued over the new video of Beyoncé and Jay-Z, filmed in the Louvre. Moreover, not so long ago the Louvre announced that the main masterpiece of the museum - the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci - is so fragile that it cannot even be moved to another floor of the building.

However, art columnist for Kommersant FM Dmitry Butkevich explained that the canvases shown in the frame were reliably protected from any kind of danger.

“In addition to the Mona Lisa, many different kinds of works appear there - from the Nike of Samothrace to paintings by Jacques-Louis David. I think that, in fact, nothing can harm da Vinci’s masterpiece, since after being photographed non-stop by hundreds of thousands of Japanese people every day for several hours, no spotlights are afraid of it. In addition, the canvas is in a special vandal-proof light and soundproof box,” said Dmitry Butkevich. - Of course, it looks a little strange.
