But Samoilov decides to leave the school, because because of him there is not enough time to develop his own group. In 1987, after leaving the university, Gleb applied to the RTF-UPI troupe. His close relatives Peter Mayem and brother Vadim are already playing there. He is accepted as a bass player. From this moment Gleb’s creative path began.

Childhood

In his childhood, unlike his brother, who was interested in music, he loved to draw . But in his drawings he did not depict animals or airplanes - like all children, but drew guitars, drums, rock musicians with long hair, a distinctive feature of informals. The children of his generation dreamed of becoming astronauts and pilots, but he dreamed of rock music and dreamed of becoming a rock musician. At the age of seven he was already writing poetry. And I dreamed of reproducing them in songs. A quiet boy, he wrote poems and music for them, read books and believed in his dream.

An interesting fact is that Gleb never studied music. His parents sent him to music school, but as a child, he admits that he was very lazy and could not study in two schools at once. But there was a piano at home and his older brother began teaching him how to play the instrument. He taught himself to play guitar and piano.
