Everyone discussed: the most notorious breakups of this year

BIOGRAPHY

Egor Koreshkov was born into a family of musicians. The father of the future actor was an oboist, and his mother was a vocalist. The boy grew up as a musical child, possessing hearing and a sense of rhythm. At an early age, the parents decided to send their son to a music school, to a percussion class. Egor really wanted to learn to play the drums.

After 9th grade, the teacher suggested that the young man go to a military college and serve in their orchestra. But the prospect of being a military musician did not make Yegor very happy. He was in a math class and wanted to become an economist. As a result, fate turned out differently - the young man entered the pedagogical college where his mother worked. “In college, I studied at a department with a long title: “Pedagogy of additional education of children in the field of artistic, speech and theatrical and play activities.” By the way, I can teach theater to children during after school. One of my teachers was Irina Egorova, who graduated from the directing department of GITIS, and it was she who taught me the basics of the profession. From year to year I found in this area more and more something necessary for me as a person, an individual. That’s why I chose this path,” recalls Yegor.

Deciding to become an actor, Egor entered the theater and directing department of Moscow State University of Culture and Arts. But he soon realized that he did not want to study there, and transferred to GITIS to the directing department (Oleg Kudryashov’s workshop). The artist says: “I believe that I studied in the best place. Of course, every student and graduate considers their university to be the best. I was lucky enough to get to GITIS to Kudryashov. I consider him one of the best teachers in the country. He is a student of Maria Knebel, and she studied with Stanislavsky. Kudryashov invited brilliant teachers to the course. We mechanically performed some things in the assigned work, but did not yet understand how deep they were, and we comprehended this much later. All our teachers gave us information, but not directly, but through our body. This school, to some extent, can be called Meyerhold’s – from action to feeling.”

Interesting details

It is known that Egor Koreshkov:

There are rumors that the actor is thinking about resuming the work of the Sarah Jessica Parker group and inviting a Hollywood star to take the place of the vocalist.

THEATER

Unlike most of his colleagues, Yegor Koreshkov decided not to connect his life with the repertory theater and participate in various performances as a guest actor. “I didn’t go to work in the theater because I didn’t want to fall into a routine. It’s always more interesting to do something new, unusual, to somehow enrich yourself internally,” admits the actor. Koreshkov has many interesting theatrical works under his belt, which have received critical attention and enthusiastic reviews from audiences. He performed the role of Maurice Faitelzon in the play “Shosha” at the Theater of Nations, played in the plays “Slow Sword” at the Roshchin and Kazantsev Center for Drama, “Masquerade Masquerade” at the Center named after. Meyerhold, “Fucking A...” directed by Donatas Grudovich. The artist is not afraid to experiment on stage, and considers participation in productions of “new drama” an interesting and important experience for himself: “This is a rather complex system. To be on stage and in a play - and at the same time to be yourself. Be organic and remove all theatrics from yourself. All the stages of the “new drama” are intimate, and you are very close to the viewer. You need to be so believable that the viewer sometimes doesn’t understand, are you acting now, is this a play or what’s happening? Or did some person come in from the street and is now presenting what to whom? The viewer must be inside, he is a participant.”

Personal life

Today, the actor hardly talks about his private life - from time to time he appears at social events, accompanied by various girls. Answering questions from journalists, he says that relationships take up too much time, which for now he prefers to spend on self-development: acquiring professional skills, playing sports, improving his appearance. According to Yegor Koreshkov, his ideal partner is a self-sufficient girl who will give him freedom: she will not demand to spend all his time with her, she will calmly let him go on tour and will not be offended if he wants to chat with friends. At the same time, the actor’s future wife should be feminine, soft and without bad habits.

Interesting fact! In one of his interviews, Yegor Koreshkov said that he would not want to marry an actress: in his opinion, the profession leaves an imprint on a person’s character, and all actors - both men and women - are “crazy.”

Finding a girl who would meet all the actor’s requirements, even in the capital, is not an easy task, and that’s why Yegor is still free.

MOVIE

The young actor made his film debut while still studying at the institute. In 2008, he appeared in a small episode of Valery Todorovsky’s film “Hipsters.”

Egor’s first popularity came after the release of the second season of the youth series “The Eighties,” in which the actor played the role of Komsomol activist Stas Tikhanovich. According to the actor, playing this character was extremely interesting, because in every scene he is completely different. “My character can be anything he wants, adapting to the situation and turning it to his advantage. Somewhere there is a romantic hero, somewhere there is an insidious villain...”, says the artist.

"Bitterly!"

The actor's real fame was brought to him by Zhora Kryzhovnikov's comedy "Bitter!", where he played the role of the groom at a wedding. The collaboration between the young actor and the director began back in 2010, when Yegor starred in the short film by Kryzhovnikov (the director’s real name is Andrey Pershin - editor’s note) “Happy Purchase.” As in the previous work, in the film “Bitter!” Koreshkov's partner was actress Yulia Alexandrova. The film also stars Sergei Svetlakov, Yan Tsapnik, and Elena Valyushkina.

The film "Bitter!" was a huge success and found a response in the hearts of millions of viewers and critics. Egor considers this picture a serious acting success, because it was after it that the actor was talked about as a promising, promising artist. "It was interesting

, which is not active. It’s difficult to participate in almost every scene, and at the same time fade, but then still boil up and show that you also have character,” says Egor.

After the film “Bitter!” Koreshkov's career is going uphill. He plays in the TV series “Two Winters and Three Summers”, “You’re Having a Baby”, and the films “Another Year”, “Betrayal”, “The New Old Home”, “Winterreise”.

"Brothers Ch"

Another bright and memorable work of the actor is the role of Anton Pavlovich Chekhov in Mikhail Ugarov’s film “Brothers Ch.” The picture describes the events of one summer day in the life of the Chekhov family. The film's script was based on Chekhov's personal letters to his brothers, the diary of the writer's father, as well as plot motifs from great stories and tales. Egor Koreshkov managed to brilliantly embody the image of a young talented writer, on whose shoulders lies the responsibility for his family. The actor says about his character: “In the process of preparing for the role, I treated Chekhov not as a great writer, but as an ordinary person. Mikhail Ugarov and I wanted to modernize and simplify this story, to emphasize that geniuses are people like everyone else. I played a man who is just beginning to realize his talent."

"Ballet in the Flames of War"

Egor considers his participation in the Russian-Chinese production “Ballet in the Flames of War” to be an unusual experience in his acting career, in which the actor played the role of a Russian officer. The filming, as Koreshkov admits, was not easy, but the experience was amazing and useful. In addition, several scenes in the film were directed by Nikita Mikhalkov. Egor had only pleasant impressions from working with the master: “He looks at you like that, envelops you with charisma, conveys the essence of your role in such a way that you just walk into the frame and do as needed. When Mikhalkov is on the court, everyone walks on tiptoes. Although, of course, he doesn’t force anyone to behave like that.”

"Metamorphosis"

In 2020, the film “Metamorphosis”, directed by Sergei Taramaev and Lyubov Lvova, was released, in which Egor played the role

. According to the plot of the film, the hero lives in his own world, where everything is connected with music and exists for the sake of it. It’s as if he is in a completely different coordinate system than the people around him. But everything changes when he meets the 11-year-old daughter of a wealthy businessman, Sasha. And in this child the musician finds a kindred spirit. “I wanted to create a hero who, on the one hand, would be pitied, and on the other, so that people would find in him that magical strangeness that allows him to brilliantly perform works and have a rich inner world. The facial expressions were born strangely. I accumulated for a month and a half, watched a lot of concerts, and before filming I didn’t even know what it would turn into,” admits Yegor.

"Sofia"

Among the actor’s recent works is the role of the Italian Pietro in the series “Sofia” directed by Alexei Andrianov. The film tells the story of the last heir to the Byzantine throne and the grandmother of Ivan the Terrible, Sophia Paleologue. The main roles in the film were played by Maria Andreeva, Evgeny Tsyganov, Nadezhda Markina, and other famous actors.

Romance by Egor Koreshkov and Natalia Turovnikova

In 2020, Yegor Koreshkov’s personal life attracted the attention of the press: the actor constantly appeared accompanied by Natalya Turovnikova, a well-known socialite in Moscow circles. The age difference - 11 years - did not seem to bother the lovers at all.

However, after some time, journalists became aware of their breakup: at one of the special events, the couple appeared separately; Neither Yegor Koreshkov nor Natalya Turovnikova made any attempts to communicate with each other. They also refused to give any comments to the press.

The only thing that reporters were able to find out from mutual friends of the former lovers was that the decision that these two made was completely balanced, and therefore cannot be changed.

INTERVIEW

About young artists

“To get into the cinema, you have to distinguish yourself. And the graduate has nothing special to distinguish himself with, unless he acted during his studies or played a significant role in the theater. Or you'll be lucky and star in a feature film. You can get into an arthouse, but you have to know the people who launch such projects. Most often you don’t know them - they’re their own crowd. It is also possible that some large company declares the actor as a debutant and opens him. This happens rarely, and you also don’t always know about these castings. It’s difficult to break through, but with time it’s possible.”

About the game in life

“Some actors need to act in life, to be visible. They seem to be afraid to stop, so they continue to entertain people off stage. In my free time, I try to accumulate knowledge and experience, look closely at the behavior of those around me, and look for interesting characters. And when I come to the set, I don’t try to entertain anyone, I just try to understand and bring my character to life. I’m like a puppeteer who spiritualizes a puppet, after the performance I put it in a box and leave the theater like an ordinary person.”

About appearance

“We almost never make films about intelligent people. More often about the lower strata. If a Russian person, then this nose is a potato. I have a big problem with my appearance. They refuse me roles and explain that I am supposedly too handsome. They also say that my appearance is too European for our cinema. I don't know how to take this. What should I do now, go to Europe?”

About praise

“There are people whose words are important to me. They will tell me as much as they want about how well everything turned out for me, but if one specific person whom I especially trust says that everything is bad, I will believe him.”

On the state of Russian cinema

“There is a renaissance happening. It will be better later. I see how big steps our cinema is taking. The difficulties, of course, are not getting less. The problem is not only that we are trying to be equal to Hollywood and European cinema. Not only auteur cinema is becoming deeper, but also mainstream cinema. Still, few people are given the way further. Few people invest in films. The fight is not for life, but for death. Cinema is a new space for us. We don't know how to remove it. We had a lot of problems in the 90s, everyone fled, no one remembers how things are done, our services, neither technical nor cinematic, do not work properly, because no one trains them. At all levels we are self-taught. We are just starting to learn everything. But I see serious prospects. I watch how people fight, defend scripts, shots, and casting. The process is underway."
