The brightest personality in the “City of Pyatigorsk” team was and remains its captain, Olga Kartunkova. Some KVN fans are confident that it was thanks to this woman that the team achieved great results and universal recognition.
Now Olga is invited to films and TV series. So, she starred in the film “The Groom”, as well as in the TV series “Two Broke Girls”. In addition, she was invited to appear on a regular basis in the popular project “Once Upon a Time in Russia.”

The “Gorod Pyatigorsk” team on tour in Montreal
Already as part of the “Gorod Pyatigorsk” (GP) team, the guys successfully performed in the games of the KVN Central League. According to the team captain Olga Kartunkova, the team initially consisted of 17 people. During 2 years of active activity in KVN, a selection took place among the Pyatigorsk residents. People left the team for various reasons. Some couldn't stand it psychologically, while others' life plans changed.
With the advent of the “Gorod Pyatigorsk” team, viewers immediately began to compare it with its predecessor, the “Pyatigorsk Team”. Fans expected that a team would appear on stage, similar in jokes and numbers to the team of Semyon Slepakov, they even wrote on social networks: “This is not the same Pyatigorsk!”

Olga Kartunkova, as the team leader, emphasized that “Pyatigorsk Team” and “Pyatigorsk City” are completely different teams, with different performance styles. The only thing that unites the teams is the participants from the same city.
In addition, senior stage comrades supported newcomers, helped to avoid mistakes and passed on experience to KVN. The guys still remember with gratitude the support from Semyon Slepakov, who constantly came to rehearsals in the first year.
In 2011, the team entered the Major League, where it reached the finals. The GP is in 3rd place based on the points scored. The following year, Gorod Pyatigorsk won games in the 1/8, 1/4 and 1/2 finals of the Major League. After this, the Kaveen warriors find themselves in the final battle.

KVN team “Gorod Pyatigorsk” on stage
The winner of the 2012 games is the team from Smolensk “Triod and Diode”, and the State Enterprise shares 2nd place with the “Faculty of Journalism”. In an interview, Olga Kartunkova recalls how the GP participants felt after the final. Several people wanted to leave the team. There was even a decision not to go to the next season. But the fans and admirers of the funny team persuaded them to continue the game.
“After some period, we finally got together and decided that next season we will give it our all, add some zest. This is how Murat Erkenov joined our team,” says Olga.
The team successfully performs at the music festival in Jurmala and receives the “Big KiViN in the Dark”. This is the third most important prize.
In 2013, the Pyatigorsk team improved their results and became the winners of the main prize of Jurmala - “Big KiViN in Gold”. Team captain Olga Kartunkova is awarded a special jury prize “Amber KiViN”.

A worthy end to the season was the victory of the Pyatigorsk team in the final game of the same year. GP plays with such strong teams as Kamyzyaki, Dnepr and Parapaparam.
“We gave it a little better than other teams. It was a game of friends. And it all looked as if we weren’t competing, but had graduated from school and received certificates, saying goodbye to our teachers,” Kartunkova recalls the finale.
Next year the team begins active touring. And in March 2014, “Gorod Pyatigorsk” performed a solo concert at the KVN House.
The team is often invited to perform in foreign countries, where Pyatigorsk residents have a huge number of fans. In 2020, they were unable to travel to the United States due to refusal to obtain visas at the American Embassy in Moscow.
Ekaterina Utmelidze
An equally bright member of the “City of Pyatigorsk” team was Ekaterina Utmelidze, whose life completely changed after participating in the project. It is worth noting that it was in KVN that she found her husband - he turned out to be Leonid Morgunov from another team (“Parampaparam”).

In 2014, Ekaterina, like the captain of her team, was invited to star in the project “Once Upon a Time in Russia,” in which she appears as a hysterical girl. What’s most interesting is that in life Ekaterina doesn’t even know how to raise her voice, but on screen she does it skillfully.
In 2020, Ekaterina became the host of the Russo Touristo program, which she hosted in company with another Kaveen member, Leonid Moorgunov. As a result, such cooperation grew into a relationship, and then into a family union.
Now Ekaterina skillfully combines family life and raising her son Artem with work on television.

It all started with Noah's Ark. This was the name of the future team in 2009 - the champion "City Pyatigorsk". The comedians who gathered together made it to the finals in the Central Krasnodar KVN League. After the first success, the team set its sights on the Central First League, in which it became the champion. Together with team captain Olga Kartunkova, the team achieved success in the Major League.
Artem Gulaksizov
28-year-old Artem Gulaksizov currently lives in Mineralnye Vody, but regularly meets with his teammates. The guy is married.
In addition to touring with his family team, he is engaged in professional photography and also creates high-quality video content under his own brand Gulaxizov.tv Production. Artem considers his family his priority in life, so he tries to spend most of his time with her.

While playing in KVN, Ekaterina Utmelidze not only earned the audience’s gratitude, but also met her lover. Her chosen one was Leonid Morgunov, a member of the Parapaparam team.
Of course, this issue was affected by the fact that Leonid and Ekaterina are specific KVN players. Our heroine received a marriage proposal from Lenya in an extraordinary way. This came out right on the stage where the “Musical KiViN” took place. Leonid knelt down in front of Katya and held out the box that contained the engagement ring. Naturally, our heroine accepted the offer. Thus, having announced their own engagement, Ekaterina Utmelidze and Leonid Morgunov became groom and wife. They began to prepare for the next joyful and festive event in their lives.
Timur Gaidukov, 36 years old
Timur Gaidukov joined the number of KVN stars who died before their 40th birthday. A member of the City of Pyatigorsk team received a diagnosis of acute lymphoblastic leukemia in the fall of 2018 and began treatment. Fans and relatives helped Timur financially, and ten days ago the man’s family managed to close the collection for the necessary drugs - an unknown person transferred more than 1.6 million rubles to the artist’s account. Unfortunately, it's too late. Gaidukov died of cancer on January 19, although he believed that he could defeat the disease.

Ilyas Khasanov, 30 years old
Last November, an accident on the Kazan-Naberezhnye Chelny road maimed and claimed the lives of five participants in the Tatarstan KVN league. Due to a collision between a Volkswagen car and a truck, the creator of the league, Farida Tashtabanova, died on the spot, and four other passengers received injuries of varying degrees of severity. Khasanov, who fell into a coma, could not be saved - the KVN member died two days after the accident.

Daniyar Alimbayev, 32 years old

A former member of the Aktobe Team died in July 2018. Daniyar was in one of the bars in the city of Aktau. At night, a fight broke out near the establishment, and Alimbayev became an accidental victim of the brawl. A KVN worker was wounded in the leg, hitting an artery. Doctors operated on the victim, but Daniyar died due to blood loss. The perpetrators were sentenced to imprisonment (from 2 to 15 years) and payment of monetary compensation, but Alimbayev’s widow did not agree with the punishment: “I have four small children left. In 2005, Natalya had the opportunity to perform in the KVN premier leagues as a member of the “Glamour” and “Fedor Dvinyatin” teams. With the latter, Medvedeva worked at all stages of formation in the Club of the Cheerful and Resourceful.
Despite the fact that members of the refereeing team had rather ambiguous assessments of the performance style of this team, “Fedor Dvinyatin” very quickly gained popularity among fans of the game and in 2009 reached the final of the Major League.
The further development of Natalia’s career on television occurred rapidly. After some time, the girl became a participant in the “Comedy Woman” show.
