In the world of finance
Sofya Zaika (photo above) was born on April 12, 1988 in the Russian cultural capital of St. Petersburg. The girl, as they say, was born with a silver spoon in her mouth. Her father, financier Pavel Zaika, is a fairly famous person. Currently he heads the representative office of one of the most famous banks in Latvia in Moscow.
The first few years of receiving secondary education, Sophia studied at a private school in Sosnovy Bor, Leningrad region. It is not known for certain which institution she subsequently transferred to and where the certificate was issued. There is only reliable information about higher education.
While still at school, Sofya Zaika decided to follow in her father’s footsteps: the field of finance was close to her. The girl entered the State University of St. Petersburg at the Faculty of Economics. However, she did not feel her calling in the financial sector. On the contrary, in the process of studying economic “wisdom” the girl realized that it was too boring for her.
Thirst for self-expression
Creative inclinations have been evident in Sophia since childhood. Being a child with diverse interests, in parallel with receiving secondary education, she:
- went to music school;
- studied professional vocals;
- practiced fencing.
When, years later, a student who had lost interest in economics was faced with the question of choosing a career in life, she decided to rely on creative activity. Sofya Zaika nevertheless received a diploma in finance, having come to the conclusion that in any direction of her career, a higher education would not be superfluous.
After graduating from university, the young ambitious beauty went to the capital. Here she acquired the profession of a stylist.
Sophia mastered the features of this specialty with such zeal and diligence that she attracted the attention of the famous designer Ulyana Sergeenko. The latter was so fascinated by the talented and diligent girl that, despite Sophia’s lack of experience and young age, she invited her to work at her fashion house. The stutterer accepted the offer and began to apply the acquired skills in practice.
Biography and personal life
Sophia was brought up in a wealthy family, where harmony and kindness reigned.
The girl is an only child, so her parents sought to invest in her the necessary knowledge and surround her with love. Bunny grew up as an active, versatile child; she attended piano classes at a music school. In 2011, the future actress graduated from gymnasium No. 1, after which she easily entered the Novosibirsk State Theater Institute . The girl was enrolled in the acting department in the workshop of Sergei Afanasyev.
Sophia was so passionate about learning the intricacies of the profession that she couldn’t wait to get on the big stage. In 2020, Sophia received a higher education diploma with a degree in Drama Theater and Film Actress.
Immediately after graduating from a theater university, the girl was accepted into the troupe of the local drama theater . Sergei Afanasyev became the artistic director and creative mentor of the young actress.
Zaika worked at the Novosibirsk theater for about two years, and was involved in the following productions: “The Tale of Tsar Saltan” and “War Doesn’t Have a Woman’s Face.”
Subordination
When working with celebrities and models, it was important for the girl not to let herself belittled. Therefore, she took care in advance of forming her own worthy image and style. In particular, the Zaika introduced herself to everyone as Sofia Pavlovna.
This peculiar subordination determined the respectful attitude of those around her. The entire Moscow elite remembered her precisely by that name. Zaika uses the same wording as a nickname when registering accounts on social networks. The most striking example is the girl’s official page on Instagram.
Biography of Sofia Zaika
In addition to her economic education, the girl seriously took up vocal activities and sports (fencing). However, after moving to Moscow, Sofya gives preference to the art of stylistics, as a result of which she receives a position in the fashion house of designer Ulyana Sergeenko. But the girl’s dream was still an acting career. As a result, in 2014, Sofia became a graduate student at the Moscow Art Theater studio and attended courses by Igor Zolotovitsky and Sergei Zemtsov.
Subsequently, the actress took the name Sofya Pavlovna and under this name she is widely known to the entire St. Petersburg elite and is represented on Instagram.
Elite society
Sophia quickly joined the capital's social circle. She was regularly invited to various parties, which included parties that were held at Simach, where the girl took part in candid photography.
Being in the highest circles of society instilled self-confidence in the beauty. As a result of this, she decides to try to become an actress. This profession has long been desired by Sophia. But every time she thought about this field of activity, she was overwhelmed by doubts about her own abilities.
A dream come true
In 2014, Sofya Zaika began studying at the studio school at the Moscow Art Theater. The leaders of the course she enrolled in were Igor Zolotovitsky and Sergei Zemtsov.
She was especially attracted to the acting profession by the opportunity to try on a variety of images. And also set new tasks for yourself with each role. Despite the experience of filming in various projects, Sophia still considers herself an aspiring actress. Not because he doesn’t believe in his abilities again. But simply because the experience is still small.
Actress Sofya Zaika lost 20 kilograms for filming the 2nd season of the TV series “Fitness”
Filming has begun for the 2nd season of the Fitness series, which tells the story of the employees and visitors of the elite SUPERFIT club. Mikhail Trukhin, Roman Kurtsyn, Tatyana Khramova, Dmitry Chebotarev, Marianna Schultz, Lelya Baranova, Boris Dergachev gathered again on one site, and the appearance of Sofia Zaika created a real sensation. The fact is that for the filming of season 2, the 25-year-old actress lost 20 kilograms.
“I was faced with not the easiest task: to lose 20 kilograms in 2.5 months. The fact is that after completing the filming of “Fitness,” I continued working on other projects, therefore, I could not lose weight: the camera sees any, even minimal, deviations in weight. As soon as all the projects were completed, I began to lose weight extremely and lost 8 kilograms in the first month. I exercised twice a day, gave up dairy, gluten- and glucose-containing foods, and red meat. I admit, it was hard, especially when after a month the weight stopped coming off. I lost another 2 kilograms and that’s it. I was angry and worried, and in the end I decided to seek advice from Roma Kurtsyn,” said Sophia.

Sofya Zayka before losing weight
A colleague gave the actress simple advice: “Be patient and wait.” The star’s persistence was crowned with success, and within a month she lost another 10 kilograms. “I had no doubt that Sonya would cope with the task. She has it in her character: if she needs to do something, she will do it. Although she herself still doubts whether it is noticeable that she has lost weight. We have to calm her down, which is noticeable,” said Boris Dergachev, who plays the boyfriend of the heroine Bunny.
Roman Kurtsyn also showered Sophia with compliments: “The bunny is a powerful motivator for many girls, I’m sure of it! The first thing I said when I saw Sonya here was: “Wow, where are your cheeks?!” I'm shocked! I see that she is comfortable in the new weight, but I hope she still decides to return to the old one, at least, I really asked her to do so.”
Film crew of the series "Fitness"
It is worth noting that the 33-year-old actor himself also worked hard to prepare for filming. True, unlike his colleague, Roman did not have to lose weight, but gain weight, which he lost for another project. Over 2 months of training, Kurtsyn gained 10 kilograms.
The 2nd season of “Fitness” will be aired on the Super TV channel this year. The director will be Kirill Vasiliev , known for the film “Well, hello, Oksana Sokolova!” “The 1st season of the project proved that in addition to “Kitchen” and “Hotel” we were also able to successfully bring “Fitness” to the television space. The audience loves it, and we are sure that the 2nd season will not disappoint,” said general producer of the series Vitaly Shlyappo .

Beautiful Frenchwoman
Actress Sofia Zaika’s screen debut took place in 2020 in “Mysterious Passion.” The series produced by Channel One was a film adaptation of the work of the same name by Vasily Aksenov, which tells the story of the legendary sixties - Vysotsky, Okudzhava, Akhmadulina and many other symbols of that era.
The names of real heroes were replaced by consonant combinations, but the prototypes of the characters were determined without the slightest difficulty. Actress Sofya Zaika received in this project the role of the French film star Marie Eugene, whose prototype is Marina Vladi.
Being at that time a first-year student at the Moscow Art Theater School, the young beauty was very nervous before filming - after all, she had to work on the same set with already famous and experienced actors:
- Sergei Bezrukov;
- Philip Yankovsky;
- Chulpan Khamatova;
- Yulia Peresild;
- and others.
But Sophia coped with her role perfectly. Illustrious colleagues spoke positively about her work and highly appreciated the girl’s talent. The aspiring actress overnight turned into a famous and beloved artist by many viewers.
In one of the episodes of the series, Stutterer sang a song in French. As her co-stars later noted, at that moment Sophia reminded Marina of Vladi as much as possible.
Sofya Zayka - about filming the comedy “Slave”, Milos Bikovich, weight loss and love for piglets
Oksana Bondarchuk
TV Mag Columnist
Life presents the selfish major Grisha, played by Milos Bikovich, with an amazing surprise - one day he wakes up... in 1860 in a master's estate. Now he is not the king of life, but an ordinary slave among the serfs. It turns out that the father decided to teach his son a lesson and hired a whole village of actors. Grisha will have to overcome many difficulties in order to learn to appreciate people, learn kindness and, of course, love. On December 26, a new film by Klim Shipenko (“Salyut 7”, “Text”)
) "Slave".
The first viewers have already appreciated the humor and touchingness of this New Year's comedy .
On the eve of the premiere, TV Mag asked the performer of one of the leading roles in “Slave” Sofia Zaika (“Fitness”) about why “Slave” is worth watching, why she was whipped on the set and whether it is easy to make friends with Milos Bikovich. Sofia, your Instagram contains many warm memories of filming “Slave”
, and what day do you remember most vividly?
I really remember filming in Pskov very fondly every time. For the film, beautiful sets were specially built in nature, and I am crazy about filming on location, I love working in nature, and here is such a leap into the historical! The most memorable thing was filming the Ivan Kupala celebration scene. We filmed in the forest for two nights in a row, it was +4 outside, and we played during the hot weather. I remember how they kept each other warm, ran into the trailers during breaks, wrapped themselves up, and then undressed in the frame, depicting summer. Then they wrapped themselves up again... It was all so romantic!
“Slave” - a comedy by Klim Shipenko starring Milos Bikovich, Alexandra Bortich, Sofia Zaika and other stars
How did the video in which you were whipped appear? Why was the heroine flogged?
In fact, Milos was being whipped on camera! (Laughs.)
I watched him being beaten, and I became incredibly interested, I said: “Let’s try me too.” As a result, filming was slightly delayed due to the fact that Bunny was whipped between shots. It does not hurt. There he was such a professional that he felt like a breeze was running down his neck.
Tell us about your heroine Lyuba.
This is a peasant actress. This character is a hired actress who, like all the heroes of this village, plays the role of the main character. The task is for him to believe that he is in the 19th century. I remember we had such a funny scene when I give Milos porridge to eat, but he doesn’t want to eat it in any way, until the very end he doesn’t believe that this is happening to him and he has become a slave.
What did you like from the everyday life of the 19th century, what would you take with you into modern times?
Animals! This is my weakness! On the set we had pigs, cows, goats, sheep, horses... They simply pulled me out of the barns, as I sat with the cows and communicated with them. Don’t just feed me bread – let me go to the animals! (Laughs.)
Did the scenery help you feel like you were in Rus'?
Yes, I even had the feeling that my character himself was starting to play around and believe that this was the 19th century, and not a performance for one character.
The comedy “Slave” will be released on December 26
For the sake of "Fitness"
you have lost a lot of weight. Did you have to change anything for the role in “Slave”?
No, before “Slave” I had just finished filming “Fitness”
, and just then my texture was ideal for this role, it was what I needed. I was even approved without any tests. I recorded a video, and based on it I was accepted into the project. Three days passed after “Fitness,” after which I rushed to Pskov to film “Slave.” But I had to lose weight after. Therefore, it is very good that I managed to star in this wonderful project before losing weight.
Why did you need to lose weight again?
For another project, for new filming.
Are you already able to lose and gain weight so easily?
What you won’t do for your favorite profession!
Who did you become friends with on the set?
When I went on the expedition, I didn’t have a single acquaintance from the film’s cast. But we all became very good friends there. I love expeditions because they bring us together a lot. I met Milos - he is amazing, not only is he a talented actor, he is also cheerful and a very good person. With Olya Dibtseva
became very friendly.
With Kirill Nagiyev
. In principle, we formed a great company with all the actors!
How effective do you think the method of re-education of the hero Milos is? Who would be pranked like this in real life?
This is a very tough method. But very effective! True, I don’t have any friends with whom I could conduct such an experiment. But according to the plot of our movie, for the hero Milos, a guy from the elite, this is a very effective way. It worked for him.
What can audiences expect on December 26 in cinemas when watching “Slave”?
Great impressions. For a long time!

Relationships with men
There are noticeable gaps in the biography of Sophia Zaika. The largest of them is the girl’s personal life. The beauty is very secretive in this matter.
According to rumors, after the artist moved from St. Petersburg to the capital, she had a whole series of affairs with fairly famous representatives of the stronger sex. Among them:
- Who is the DJ, aka Fedor Boomer (musician);
- Timofey Kolesnikov (fashionable Moscow photographer).
From this moment the most interesting stage of Sophia Zaika’s personal life begins. In 2013, a fateful meeting took place between the girl and her future husband and father of her children, who is the head of Channel One, Konstantin Ernst.
A year after they met, they began to regularly go out together. After a little more time, Sophia’s rounded forms made it possible to unmistakably determine that she was pregnant. In 2016, Zaika gave birth to Ernst’s first daughter. In mid-2017, the couple welcomed another girl.
