Dmitry Belotserkovsky - biography, personal life, photos, news 2020

Childhood of Dmitry Belotserkovsky. Family

Dmitry Sergeevich Belotserkovsky was born in one of the maternity hospitals in the city of Nevinnomyssk in 1988. As Belotserkovsky’s mother said, while still a baby, little Dima, having heard the song “Moscow Evenings,” reproduced the melody with precision. It was then that my mother thought that a future stage star was growing up in the family. Mom wanted her son to become an actor, so she recommended that he read more to develop his vocabulary, but the young man was an inveterate bully and hooligan, and instead of books he spent time on the football field. He studied poorly, but performed successfully in KVN.

Thanks to his innate charisma, Belotserkovsky performed brilliantly in KVN

At the request of his mother, Dmitry attended a music school, where he studied piano. The actor himself recalled the following: “I didn’t want to study at all. Imagine, the guys are playing football, and you have to learn sketches.”

In 1995, the guy first appeared in public at the cultural center of his hometown as part of the “Good Well Done” competition, where he won, receiving a Dendy game console as a prize.

Dmitry Belotserkovsky: “24 years of life behind me! We take on roles “through experience”

One of the main characters, Seryoga, a cunning and calculating womanizer, was played by Dmitry Belotserkovsky. In life, he is the complete opposite of his hero, an exemplary family man and loving father. Even on the set he manages to communicate with his daughter on Skype during breaks between scenes.

- Dmitry, your hero Seryoga has a flawed reputation: cheeky, calculating, makes not entirely honest decisions - a hero of our time. Aren't you ashamed of him?

- He's a normal guy! True, he has Napoleonic plans, not without this, but in principle he is a good person. He struggles with himself, seems to strive upward, but breaks down. Just like in life. He betrays, but does not want to do it - this is how the circumstances develop. There are always such subtle moments in life. And this is what I like about our picture...

— In the story, Seryoga often helped another hero, Vanya, meet girls and get over breakups. Did you draw on personal experience while working on such scenes?

- Of course, what are you talking about?! Just like that, 24 years behind us! We do it “by experience” (laughs).

— What are your personal memories of the eighties?

— I’m from the provinces myself, so for us the eighties stretched into the nineties (laughs). I remember my mother’s dark blue raincoat, my father’s curly hairstyle, the fashion of that time. When I was approved for the role in “The Eighties,” I turned to my parents and grandmothers for advice. Together they leafed through family albums and looked at wedding photos. The eighties were the time of my carefree childhood: football, the yard, the neighbors’ doors were never closed, you could come in and ask for sugar or something else. I remember how, as a child, I told someone in the yard, so as not to look worse than others, that my dad had bought a foreign video and TV set. I come home, and they are really standing there. That's when my jaw dropped...

— Films set in Soviet times are often filmed in Minsk. The same thing happened with the series “The Eighties” (STS). During the filming in Minsk, did you have the feeling that you were back in childhood?

— Indeed, Minsk has amazingly preserved the atmosphere of that time. And the people here are kind and sympathetic. Apparently, because they are not spoiled by vanity and running around. Behind the scenes of the cultural center, where we filmed the underground video room, everything remained as before. Just like here in Nevinnomyssk, where I performed at the Chemists’ Palace of Culture: backstage, a brick wall, a mechanism covered with bars.

The actor prefers sports to fun parties.

— Speaking about performances in Nevinnomyssk, do you mean the times when you played in KVN?

— No, much earlier: my mother enrolled me in a local recreation center when I was a child. I sang there, took part in the “Good Well Done” competition - I won my first game console right then - “Dandy”! (Proudly raises his finger.) On it, my dad and I played Mario.

— So, your mother revealed your artistic talent?

- Yes, yes and yes again!!! According to family legend, while still in the stroller, I heard the song “Moscow Nights” and reproduced the melody absolutely accurately. Then there was a music school for piano. Can you imagine what it was like for a boy to learn sketches while they were playing football under the windows?

- Is mom still your guide?

“She is a very specific adviser to me.” I ask her about the role, I see how her face changes, and I brake: “That’s it, mom, I understand!” (Smiles.) It’s difficult for her to evaluate me, she knows me too well. He says: “My friends say it’s good! But it seemed to me that I overplayed it a little.”

— How does your daughter react when she sees you on the screen?

“Before, she didn’t understand how this was possible: dad was on TV and at the same time sitting next to her. But now he is growing, he understands more.

Dmitry and his wife are raising a daughter. But the couple is also thinking about a boy.

— Are there any plans for a boy?

- We want to, of course. But - as God willing.

— Nowadays, it’s rare to meet a young man who is focused more on his family than on the party. When did this understanding come to you?

— In general, I love sports. Therefore, drinking and hanging out has always been less interesting for me than running, for example. As for the family, everything is simple: I met the person with whom I can do this. Such happiness happened to me. So I didn’t plan anything in advance.

- How did you meet?

- We are classmates. We made excerpts together in Sliver, and then at some point I realized that the excerpts were turning into the play of my life. “The Eighties”, STS, weekdays, 14.00 and 19.00

Dmitry Belotserkovsky: on the path to success

As often happens, his first serious role was preceded by minor roles in popular television projects: at the dawn of his acting career, Belotserkovsky played a paratrooper in one of the episodes of Daddy's Daughters, a student from a hostel in the TV series Univer, as well as a representative of the golden youth and an avid enemy of Ivanovich in "Real Boys". In 2009, Dmitry Belotserkovsky had his first major role - Kirill Zharov from the series “Sleeping Area”, which also made actor Ivan Oganesyan famous.

A year has passed, and the young actor again delighted his fans with the new role of the hot-tempered old-timer Uvalov in the serial film “Stroibatya” (2010). “Grandfather” Uvalov is the leader of the company, who has an excellent sense of humor and tries to demonstrate his “jokes” at every step. The character traits of Belotserkovsky himself and his hero in the series are very similar. By the way, Dmitry himself came up with Uvalov’s catchphrase – “this is the same,” which was successfully adopted by the screenwriters.

In 2011, Dmitry played a character named Sergei Yakovlev in the series “The Eighties.” His hero is one of the main characters, a joker and a merry fellow, a born fashionista and ladies' man, who is very popular among girls. Dmitry’s filming partners included such famous young actresses as Natalya Zemtsova and Maria Aronova. The stars of the series “The Eighties” are visiting Love Radio. In 2011, several more series with Belotserkovsky’s participation were released - “Dads”, “Alien Wings”, “Shooting Mountains”.

In 2020, the actor again appeared before the audience in his usual comedy role, this time in the TV series “CHOP”. The television epic about the hapless security guards from the Kedr agency became another milestone in Belotserkovsky’s filmography. He played a homosexual working in a spa along with Yana Koshkina's character, Snezhana.

Dmitry Belotserkovsky: biography

In the film about the perestroika era, Dmitry Belotserkovsky did not play the main role, but was remembered by every viewer thanks to his bright acting and inexhaustible charm.

Photographer Mikhail Belotserkovsky: I wasn’t drawn to the stage, but I always dreamed of being there

prosto-foto.ru In the last few years, it has become fashionable to get involved in art: museums, theaters, exhibitions. The history of theater in Russia began with the so-called “pagan productions”. Later, these actions acquired a more “civilized” appearance. Today, the many-sided art is “brought to the people” by both directors and actors, and theater photographers.

One of these unique people spoke in an interview with Arguments of the Week about the intricacies of his profession.

Mikhail Belotserkovsky began his career at the Maly Theater as an administrator. He managed not only to work in many “temples of Melpomene”, but also to become part of them. At some point in his life, the photojournalist realized that he wanted to photograph everything that was happening on stage. And since then he has been widely known as a theater photographer and a professional with a capital P.

In his less than 75 years, he was lucky enough to come into contact with the real theatrical elite. They included everyone’s favorite Igor Ilyinsky, Elina Bystritskaya, Igor Kostolevsky, Mikhail Ulyanov, Oleg Tabakov, Leonid Kanevsky and many others.

Mikhail, do you remember that moment in your life when you realized that you wanted to become a photographer?

- Well, I can’t say that I remember this moment clearly. I was constantly filming for myself and my friends as an amateur.

The biography says that actor Vitaly Konyaev brought you to the theater. Tell us how your destinies crossed.

— In 1963, the film “Silence” was released with Vitaly Konyaev in the title role. After watching this picture I wanted to meet him. And such an opportunity presented itself to me in GUM. While in the music goods section, I noticed Vitaly Konyaev standing there with a guitar in his hands. He turned to me: “Do you know how to play the guitar?” I answered: “Yes!” Although I couldn't. In the conversation, I admitted that I did not have such a skill, but by that time we had already established a different relationship. Later he invited me to go on tour with the Maly Theater in Chisinau. There I met Anatoly Kolevatov (at that time the director of the Maly Theater), who offered me the position of a set assembler, and subsequently I began to help the chief administrator Boris Televich.

Mikhail, you have repeatedly been on tour with the Maly Theater troupe. Tell us the most memorable moment from this period of your life.

“One day I was sent by car to the Oktyabrskaya hotel to pick up Elina Bystritskaya. I went up to the third floor and knocked on the door. A woman in a white suit appeared in front of me, holding a pack of cigarettes in her hands and said that she would come down in 3 minutes. I must say that this appearance was a surprise to me. However, the meeting and conversation with this actress became significant for me.

You wrote that you wanted to film theater. Tell us how you felt when Evgeny Tsukerman gave you a Canon camera.

-By the time I received a semi-professional Canon camera, my experience in this field was already significant - I was accepted into almost any theater. And when my friend and good photographer Evgeniy Tsukerman came up with the idea: “Isn’t it time for you to film what’s happening on stage, since everyone knows you?” I thought: “Why not, because theater is my element.”

Mikhail, what were your first steps in this profession?

— I started attending press screenings. Photographers are invited to these events before the premiere of the play. My first works were far from ideal, because I was just starting out and still understood little about theatrical photography. Thanks to the tips that professionals such as Yuri Feklistov and Anatoly Khrupov gave me, I gradually began to delve into the secrets of this profession.

occupies a certain place in your biography . How did you end up there?

— I managed to get there in the first year after its opening. I went to the show and was eventually offered the position of first staff photographer. For me, this was my first creative experience, which I remember with warmth and gratitude.

Mikhail, in which theater were you most comfortable working as a photographer?

— I can’t say that it was better or worse in any particular theater. But, as I already said, the Provincial Theater was the first, and at that time I had not yet gained experience. The second was the Moscow Regional Theater for Young Spectators; it was an interesting professional school. And the third was the Moscow Regional Drama and Comedy Theater, where I have been working for more than 2 years. This place has its own special atmosphere, a devoted viewer, which is very conducive to creativity. There I had my first exhibition, where photographs that I had accumulated during my work in many Moscow theaters were presented.

Tell me, are you planning any more exhibitions in the near future?

— In connection with my 75th birthday, I was offered to make another exhibition of my works. It will take place in my theater, where footage will be shown exclusively from the repertoire of the Noginsk Theater. I have already begun a selection of photographs, and Anatoly Khrupov (at one time one of the best correspondents of the Soviet Union magazine) helps me with this. It weeds out bad shots.

Have you ever wanted to become an actor?

- No! I clearly understood that this was not mine. I liked photography, capturing moments, and most importantly, being in a creative environment. I wanted to feel their surroundings and rather become an accomplice to this story.

Theater of Soviet times and the present: do they excite your soul as much as when you first saw the performance on the TV screen “KVN 49”?

— Yes, one of the first performances I saw was staged at the Kabuki Theater. I hid behind the screen of the lens that magnified the TV screen and could not tear myself away from it.

Soviet theater and Russian theater are two big differences, in my opinion. It is difficult to compare them, because famous productions of the past cannot be compared with today's ones. Now directors work differently than before.

Mikhail, can you watch the performance as a spectator, or are you more accustomed to being a photographer?

— It’s hard for me to watch performances without a camera - out of habit, my hands are constantly looking for it. Because as soon as you see a good moment during the action, you need to manage to “catch” it, and for this you need a camera.

Every artist should have his own muse, who is the most pleasant to photograph; have you ever had such people?

— It’s difficult to say for sure. My muse is my son. I constantly photograph Kostya, who is already 12 years old. When he allows it, of course, which in principle happens quite often.

The theater audience consists mainly of women. Men, if they come to performances, most often do so at the stage of the candy-bouquet period. Why don't men like to go to the theater?

— Men are probably more interested in sports. Indeed, it is quite rare to see two friends come to the theater, more often a woman with a man, or a woman with a friend. In my times, going to the theater was a holiday, and when I was little and saw a children’s play with my class for the first time, I liked it so much that I completely fell in love with this form of art.

Due to your profession, you have watched more than one hundred performances. Are there any “favorites” among the productions that can be watched repeatedly?

— I really love the production “The Good Man from Szechwan” at the Pushkin Theater. At the Vakhtangov Theater - “Oedipus the King”. At my Moscow Regional Drama and Comedy Theater, my favorite plays are “The Seagull” and “The Wedding”. In general, I prefer classical theater.

Your favorite quote: “Treat others the way you want them to treat you.” Do you put this saying into practice?

“In my opinion, without this nothing will work.” We need to treat each other well and with respect. After all, only kindness will save this world.

What advice would you give to aspiring photographers?

— Take photographs as much as possible and do not limit yourself to one topic, try to cover all areas of life. Shoot: reports, landscapes, portraits, humor and be sure to capture children, because their gaze will never deceive, it is always sincere.
