Birth and family
On August 31, 1989, Kirill was born in Leningrad, which a couple of years later was renamed St. Petersburg. At the time of his birth, his parents were not yet such famous personalities.
Father, Dmitry Vladimirovich Nagiev, born in 1967, a native Leningrader. Now a famous showman, actor, television and radio host. Mother, Alla Shchelishcheva, known under the pseudonym Alisa Sher, born in 1966, was also born and raised in Leningrad. She is a writer, radio presenter, ran a radio station, and opened radio training courses.
His paternal grandfather, Nagiyev Vladimir Nikolaevich, did not succeed as an actor, although in his youth he appeared on the stage of the Red Army Theater. He was unable to enter a theater university and worked all his life at an optical mechanics factory. Grandmother, Lyudmila Zakharovna Nagiyeva, had a philological education and taught foreign languages at the Military Academy of Communications.
My grandfather on my mother’s side worked as an oil refinery designer and often went on business trips abroad. My grandmother worked as a sanitary doctor.
Who is the son of Dmitry Nagiyev
Kirill was born on August 31, 1989 in St. Petersburg. Since his parents were creative people, the boy felt the appropriate atmosphere from childhood. The house was always fun and cozy. Father - Dmitry Nagiyev was just starting his creative career and was a student at LGITMiK. Mother - Alla Selishcheva (Alice Sher) performed in the theater, then became a radio presenter. Basically, his grandparents were responsible for raising Kirill, since his parents were often absent due to work. Oddly enough, the growing popularity of Dmitry Nagiyev had a very negative impact on his son.

Comedy roles, in particular female ones, caused a storm of emotions among Kirill’s classmates, which poured out on him in the form of aggression. They often mocked and ridiculed him. In addition, the guy saw not only the positive aspects of the acting profession, but also the negative ones: lack of time, crowds of fans - so he clearly decided for himself that he would never become an actor.
His only dream was hockey. From an early age, the boy watched all the broadcasts of matches and saw in this sport the personification of masculinity and strength. But Dmitry Nagiyev wanted his son to take up martial arts, so he signed the guy up for wrestling. This sport was not suitable for Kirill at all; the boy was overweight and clumsy. Daily attendance at training led to the fact that the guy had to step over himself every time. He could not learn the simplest techniques, and this affected his relationships in the team. But, despite everything, he adequately resisted universal ridicule and eventually achieved great success in the fight.
When Kirill was 15 years old, his parents decided to separate, although they officially filed for divorce only in 2010. The young man was very worried about this and always tried to reconcile them, but his attempts were unsuccessful.
Childhood
Kirill's school years were not easy. Not only did he grow up as a chubby boy, but his classmates often laughed at him because of the extraordinary on-screen images of his father, who was just gaining popularity. At the beginning of his career, Dmitry Nagiyev’s characters were often far from masculine, with bright makeup and women’s clothing.
That is why for a long time Kirill was not interested in the acting profession. But watching his father’s work in the theater and on film sets, the teenager changed his worldview. He joined a theater group and a school choir, and even his father’s popularity stopped irritating him. By the end of school, the world of cinema and theater became very attractive for Kirill, and he decided to further study as an actor.
The younger Nagiyev has been involved in sports since childhood, although the boy did not like the wrestling section, where his father brought him, at all. He dreamed of hockey, but his dad said: “You should always be able to stand up for yourself.” Nevertheless, wrestling still benefited him, Kirill was able to get rid of extra pounds and even won competitions thirteen times.
Despite the fact that his parents divorced, Kirill never felt a lack of paternal attention. Dmitry Nagiyev lived in a neighboring house, and his son visited him every evening. They liked to walk around St. Petersburg at night together and then watch a movie.
The beginning of a creative journey
From early childhood, the boy knew almost everything about his father’s profession. Dmitry Nagiyev very often took his son with him to the set. At first, Kirill simply observed what was happening, then he tried to be useful and helped the actors in every possible way. But at the age of fifteen he made his debut in the TV series “Beware, Zadov!”
Kirill made his debut in the series “Beware, Zadov!”
Despite the fact that the guy played a cameo role, he really liked what he did. Therefore, immediately after filming, Kirill enrolled in one of the theater clubs and began attending performances of the school choir. Gradually the guy changed his attitude towards show business, and his father’s popularity was no longer such a significant problem. He began to be attracted to the stage, filming, and touring. Kirill was imbued with these new sensations and plunged headlong into the new, unknown world of theater and cinema. And, naturally, Dmitry Nagiyev supported his son’s new hobby.
Education
Kirill prepared for admission to the capital's theater universities for a year and a half and very carefully: he learned two dances and five songs, six fables, about forty sheets of prose and thirty poems. I even lost twenty kilograms. He had something to show the selection committee, but in one of the educational institutions they immediately said: “Nagiyev’s son? We won’t even listen.” The fact that they did not want to listen to him did not upset Kirill. In terms of opinions about his father’s work, he was already seasoned. At the same time, the elder Nagiyev did not take any part in the selection of the repertoire or in preparing his son for admission.
And yet, Kirill became a student at the Moscow Art Theater School on the course of Roman Kozak. I studied well, without C grades. But soon Roman Efimovich fell ill, and the course director who came to replace him did not consider the potential of the student Nagiyev. When the guy passed the last exam in his second year, he was called to the dean's office and asked to leave the educational institution. It was as if he had been hit over the head with a bag, he couldn’t even ask: “Why?”, he went out into the corridor and lost consciousness. Then I spent the whole evening thinking about the fact that life was over.
But the next day at the institute he was offered to transfer to the State Academy of Theater Arts in St. Petersburg without losing a year. Kirill agreed and went home, wondering why he even bothered to come to this Moscow?
Movie
The creative biography of Kirill Nagiyev began early. His father took him with him to the shooting, the boy not only observed the process, but also worked part-time as a “bring-and-give.” He was still at school when he played the episodic role of an orderly in the humorous series “Beware, Zadov!”, where the main character was Dmitry Nagiyev. While studying at the Moscow Art Theater School, he starred in episodes in the TV series “Staff Police, etc.”, “Silent Witness-3”, “Veselchaki”.
A more prominent character was Slavik, Masha Vasnetsova’s boyfriend, in the comedy “Daddy’s Daughters.” In his third year of study at SPbGATI, Kirill played a cameo role as the driver Captain Yakovlev in the TV series “Russian Cross”.
In 2010, Kirill starred in an episode in the drama series Robinson. Such a number of supporting roles did not frighten the young actor at all; he acquired the necessary skills and “trained his hand.” In the same year, the younger Nagiyev was invited to a significant role in the series “Capital of Sin”. He played Dan, a friend of the main character Svetka. Then there were small works in the series “Interns”, “Run”, “Kamenskaya-6”.
In 2011, the Domashny TV channel released the romantic comedy “The Queen’s New Dress,” where Kirill played the main role of the fashionable party-goer tennis player Stas Zaborsky. In the same year, he starred in the TV series “Comrades Policemen” in the role of apartment swindler Sergei Chekalin, nicknamed “Cheka”.
The actor gained real popularity after the premiere of the film “Brigade: The Heir.” He got the role of Phil, a friend of the main character Ivan Belov (son of Sasha Bely from the famous Russian crime saga “Brigada”). The filming process partially took place in the USA, so Kirill was able to not only work well, but also have fun and get a lot of interesting impressions from the new country.
The following roles in the biography of the younger Nagiyev were no longer passable or secondary. His track record includes more than a dozen films and TV series:
- “The Case of Investigator Nikitin”;
- "Anechka";
- "Department";
- "The Cure for Fear"
- "Wild-4";
- "Hispanic";
- "Team";
- "Prince of Siberia";
- “Forgive me, mom”;
- "Hammer".
According to Kirill, he has nothing in common with most of his heroes, dishonest and preoccupied with money. But negative roles are interesting to him, and the audience remembers them better.
In 2020, the younger Nagiyev starred in a video for the song of the group “Marseille”, where, according to the plot, his hero saves a girl who has fallen through the ice. In 2020, he took part in the dubbing of the animated film “Sinbad. Pirates of the Seven Storms." He was co-host of Elena Letuchaya in the television show “Revizorro”.
Student years
Despite poor grades in his certificate, the guy managed to enter the Moscow Art Theater School. His mentor was the Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Roman Kozak, with whom he immediately developed a very trusting relationship. The guy studied diligently and gained invaluable experience.
Kirill entered SPbGATI in St. Petersburg
However, after some time the teacher had to leave his position, as a result of which another person took his place. Kirill immediately began to have a conflict with his new mentor, because of which the guy was almost expelled. After some time, he decided to change universities, so he took the documents and left for his native St. Petersburg. There Kirill entered SPbGATI, from which he graduated in 2011.
It is no secret that at the beginning of his creative career, Dmitry Nagiyev helped his son in every possible way. That is why the creative biography of Kirill Nagiyev began to develop during his student years. Such famous films as:
- “Traffic police, etc.”;
- "Silent Witness -3";
- "Merry Men";
- "Father's daughters";
- "Robinson".
And immediately after graduating from university, his father offered him a role in the play “Kysya” based on the story by V. Kunin. Before the performance, Kirill was very nervous, because his stage experience was completely unsuitable for such an outstanding work. But then he remembered that every year he watched this production from behind the scenes.
His father offered him a role in the play “Kysya”
He knew almost all the lines and intonations that had been performed more than once by famous actors. Therefore, Kirill pulled himself together and performed in such a way that the entire hall exploded with thunderous applause after the curtain closed. From that moment on, his army of fans began to gradually increase.
Theater
Kirill often visited theater scenes from early childhood. His father took him with him when there was no one to leave him with.
Of course, Dmitry Nagiyev helped his son take some first steps, provided patronage for TV series, giving him the opportunity to appear on the screen. But Kirill considers the most significant story to be the invitation to play with his father in the play as equals. The elder Nagiyev then appeared on the stage of the State Cultural Institution “Music Hall” in St. Petersburg in the sensational comedy production “Kysya”.
Kirill had just received his diploma and didn’t have much stage experience when his father called him and said: “Tomorrow you will play in Kys.” Commissioning in one day.” And this is a production that occupies a special place in St. Petersburg and is considered one of the theatrical symbols of the city. But the elder Nagiyev guessed everything correctly here. After all, Kirill first watched “Kysya” at the age of eleven and since then he has seen it so many times that he knew all the dialogues and monologues of the characters by heart. When he first came to the performance with his mother, it was his future character that made the most difficult impression on the child. He killed everyone at the end, and the boy then even burst into tears behind the scenes, the emotional shock of what he saw was so strong.
Kirill was very worried, but in vain. The audience received his performance well and gave him many flowers, congratulating him on his debut. This was that rare case when Nagiyev Sr. said that he was proud of his son.
Personal life of Kirill Nagiyev
Fans of the young actor have long been interested in his personal life, but Kirill does not like to advertise this side. It is only known that he has been living separately from his parents for a long time, with his beloved girl, whose name is Yulia Melnikova. She is a graphic designer by profession. The couple has not yet officially registered their relationship.
Kirill and Yulia have a lot in common; they love dogs and snowboarding. Both mother and father approved of his son's choice.
Personal life
Kirill always speaks quite openly about his work and personal life. It is known that for a long time the guy lives with his beloved girlfriend Yulia Melnikova. The couple met at a party through mutual friends. Gradually they began to meet, and their sympathy grew every day. But, at the beginning of the relationship, the guy did not dare to talk about his star parents. Kirill wanted the girl to see him as an independent creative unit. And so it happened.
Kirill Nagiev and Yulia
Yulia always understands his profession and tries to ensure that busy work schedules do not become an obstacle in their family life. Despite the fact that young people have not yet legalized their relationship, they very often talk about a future together and raise questions about children. According to many fans, his chosen one looks very similar to Kirill’s mother.
Interests, hobbies, character
Now Kirill lives in St. Petersburg, or rather, in the town of Sestroretsk, where his mother was born. He dreams of buying a house in Karelia so that he can return there from filming and early in the morning, when there is fog over the lake, sail on a boat alone with his beloved dog - and no one else, and the nearest city is five hundred kilometers away.
But for now, Kirill lives at the same frantic pace as his father. He films a lot, started running in the mornings, goes to the mountains, took up football and hockey, plays and sings in a music group. It happens that for three months in a row he does not have a single day off.
According to the younger Nagiyev, the first line in his life hit parade is occupied by dogs. Stafford Django now lives with him. These animals surrounded Kirill since childhood; dogs always lived in the house; both his mother and father adored them. In this regard, studying in Moscow turned out to be a difficult period for him, when in two years he had to change a dozen rented apartments, and it was impossible to have a four-legged friend.
As for character, Kirill Nagiyev is a very calm person. He doesn’t like going to parties, making the right acquaintances, ingratiating himself, starting intrigues, and even more so, going over his head.
