The maximum they can arrange for a former participant is a return to DOM-2... There were times when I turned to Alexey with a request to help me with my work. We sat in a cafe for a couple of hours, discussed all the available options, discarded the unnecessary, and there was only one left - to return as a participant to DOM-2, I answered NO. In reality, the “powerful” producer turned out to be not so powerful after all. There are individual cases where a former participant in “DOM-2” becomes successful. These are rare exceptions. Victoria Bonya, for example, or Natalya Krivozub, Nelly Ermolaeva. But did the organizers of the television project give them a “start in life”? Nonsense! They achieved their heights themselves. After all, appearing on TV is not a guarantee of success in the future.
WARNING: My main mistake is that while on the project, I didn’t think about my own reputation at all. Evgeny proposed five times a day, wooed her, gave her a ring for 80 thousand and even flowers, but the breakup was forgotten within a week. In exactly the same amount of time, any participant from the current cast of “DOM-2” will be forgotten, even if he leaves the gate. A week and the star will go out. Only Cherkasov and Romanets, Elina and Sasha, Gobozovs, Ilya Grigorenko, Liberzh, Terekhin, Samsonov, Rustam, Kirilyuk, Irina Aleksandrovna, and of course the main prankster of the project Andrey Chuev will be remembered... What is the point of the show? The concept states the construction of love. Where is the beautiful love? For organizers and producers, participants in a television project are non-humans, material.

After leaving the television project, Mai tried to act in various TV series and tried himself as a presenter. After several unsuccessful attempts to return to the big screen, Mai returned to his native village, where he moved away from everyone and went into religion.
