Ekaterina Porubel, whose biography and personal life is filled with bright events, has acquired a large audience of fans.

"Seraphim the Beautiful"

When did our heroine gain all-Russian fame? This happened in 2011. Then the series “Seraphim the Beautiful” was released on Channel One. The director of the film, Karine Foliyants, spent a long time deciding who would give the main role. She “reconsidered” hundreds of girls who came to the casting. But it was Katya who suited her according to all the criteria. The actress had to play an ugly and rude girl living in the countryside. The main character has had to endure many trials: a child’s illness, her husband’s betrayal, neighbors’ gossip, and so on.

Ekaterina coped 100% with the tasks set by the director. The only thing that embarrassed Karine Foliyants was Porubel’s attractive appearance. After all, according to the plot, the village woman should be ugly. But the make-up artists tried their best. Just a few hours of work - and the pretty girl turned into a dirty little girl.

Later, in an interview with printed publications, Katya admitted that she was comfortable playing the role of a village woman. And there is nothing to be surprised about. The actress considers herself a simple person. The image of a Russian woman is very close to her. Ekaterina does not like high-heeled shoes, jeans or clothes from well-known trends. She believes that it is the person who decorates the outfits, and not vice versa.

Porubel’s magnificent acting was recognized and highly appreciated not only by the audience, but also by critics. After the release of the series “Seraphim the Beautiful,” proposals for cooperation rained down on Katya, as if “from a cornucopia.”

Between 2010 and 2013. she starred in several striking films. These include films such as “Samovar Detective”, “Blind Cinema”, “The Groom”.

In sex, the star of “Seraphim the Beautiful” and her husband-lighter moved to a new level

She woke up famous after the premiere of the series “Seraphim the Beautiful” on the First TV series. During filming, Ekaterina PORUBEL met her current husband Anatoly, with whom she is about to give birth to a boy. Katya’s relationship with the father of her eldest son did not work out - they broke up even before Savva was born. The audience favorite, who will celebrate her 29th birthday the other day, spoke about all this and much more in a frank interview.

— After the series “Seraphim the Beautiful,” did you have a lot of long-awaited work?

“I can’t say that people invite me to act every day, but there are promising offers that, I hope, will result in another big job in the future.” Of course, the series “Seraphim...” gave me a lot, it opened a new stage in my life.

— In a month you will give your husband Anatoly a child. Even after pregnancy, do you continue to go to castings?

- No. But I’m planning to return to work in the fall. For now I am happily awaiting my second son. Of course, I wanted a daughter, but I would also be very happy with a guy. At the end of the year, the eldest Savva will turn four. I always liked this name, even before he was born I decided that I would name my first child that way. But the second one is more difficult - they haven’t come up with a name yet.

A shooting day for an actress costs at least 20 thousand rubles.

Lost my footing

— You broke up with Savva’s father while you were still pregnant. Did you decide to leave the child and raise him alone?

— I am a believer and against abortion. Since the Lord gave such a miracle, we should rejoice. She made the decision to leave the baby herself. My mother died six years ago after a serious illness, so there was no one to lean on. I do not communicate with Savva’s biological father. My son calls my current husband Anatoly dad.

— Are you afraid to give birth?

-No. Although I know from past experience that a moment of psychological panic will come. However, I am sure that I can quickly pull myself together.

— Will your husband be with you when the baby is born?

- What do you! I do not want it. Even cats and dogs go into a corner when they give birth. Why show this to someone? But if Anatoly really wants, of course, let him come, this is his first child.

— Your relationship with Tolya looks like a misalliance. Actress of the Maly Theater and lighting designer from Odessa.

— My husband is a talented person with a higher education. He graduated from the Agricultural Institute in Odessa and received the profession of livestock specialist. Then he accidentally got into cinema: his brother’s wife was an executive producer on the “Mask Show”. Yes, I was the heroine of the series, and he was a technical worker, so what? Tolya is devoted to both work and family, very proactive. There have never been wealthy businessmen or oligarchs in my life. In order to love a man, it is not at all necessary that he be super rich and influential. Tolya has organically integrated into my life and communicates wonderfully with my friends. And we live in my Moscow apartment.

— Officially married?
- Yes, although there was no grand wedding. We sat at home in a small circle and that was it. The stamp in the passport does not change anything. On the contrary, after it the couple begins to have difficulties. Thank God we got past that. Even before the wedding, they lived together, got to know each other, and got used to each other. I can’t say that I waited with bated breath for a marriage proposal, it just became a logical development of our relationship. We got married when I was not yet expecting a child, Tolya gave me a beautiful diamond ring. I think we will definitely get married.

— Did you take your husband’s last name?

- Yes. Now I am Levenets . But for the audience I remain Porubel . In a word, I now have two surnames: when necessary, I introduce myself as Porubel, when necessary, I introduce myself as Levenets. Sometimes I confuse who I said and what. Savva still has my last name, but soon he will also become Levenets, there’s a lot of paperwork.

— Do you dream about a daughter?

- Certainly. Everyone around is sure that my third child will definitely be a girl.

-Are you in love?

“I’ve had affairs before, I kissed for the first time when I was studying at the Shchepkinsky School, but it’s not serious. Rather, I am monogamous. I believe that relationships like mine now will last a lifetime.

— Are love and sex equal?

- Only at the beginning of a relationship. Then a deeper understanding of the person is added, and sex moves to another level.

Savva considers Anatoly his dad

Letter of resignation

“They say: “Don’t be born beautiful, but be born happy.” You have an interesting texture. And yet, you play almost nothing at the Maly Theater.

— Immediately after school I entered Viktor Ivanovich Korshunov ’s Shchepkinsky School, and I was immediately accepted into Maly. Korshunov said that I have the type of the Maly Theater. I repeated that my roles are all sorts of women, characteristic images, sad and funny. After my first birth, I lost a lot of weight. Viktor Ivanovich was worried that the invoice was gone. But I knew that in the end my kilograms would not go away from me. I don’t have many roles on stage and in films, although more and more films are being made about the Soviet Union and I fit into this context. Now I’m on maternity leave and I’m very grateful to the management that they didn’t treat me like one friend from Lenkom. As soon as she became pregnant, she was forced to write a letter of resignation of her own free will. I feel supported.

Son PORUBEL also starred in “Seraphim...” (pictured with actor Kirill GREBENSHIKOV)

— Which of the young actresses is the prima of the Maly Theater today?
Until recently, she was considered the first wife of Igor Petrenko, Irina Leonova? Olga Abramova and Olga Zhevakina are playing the most now . And Irina Leonova, who is now married to Evgeny Tsyganov , went on maternity leave for the fifth time. She's great! Irina had many roles in the theater, but she decided that she would first of all take care of her family and children, and only then her career.

— Did your late mother manage to see her daughter on stage?

“She was glad when I entered the theater school, but then she became very ill and never saw my works. She was a physics teacher and a technician. But despite this, I didn’t understand anything in mathematics, chemistry, and even physics.

- Life's suffering: the departure of your mother, the betrayal of Savva's father - did everything go to the actor's piggy bank?

- No, I just grew up very quickly. It felt like my age immediately increased by ten years. I have repeatedly asked myself the question: why mom?! I didn’t understand why, I went to church.

— Do you communicate with dad?

- Of course he is proud of me. Now a woman has appeared in his life.

Greedy colleagues

— How do you take care of your figure?

— I try not to eat a lot, the heavy weight gets in the way. You need to think about your health, it’s much more pleasant if you look good. It’s clear, my husband likes me anyway.

—Who earns more in your family—you or your husband?

“Now that I’m expecting a child, only my husband earns.” Maternity money from the theater is not very large. Of course, when I get a job, I will probably have more money. When I first came to the theater, they paid me only 3,000 rubles. Now Maly has grants, and artists earn on average from 30 to 100 thousand a month, depending on their employment and titles.

— Your shooting day probably costs at least ten thousand rubles?

“I wouldn’t agree to act for this money!” Twice as much is another matter. Although, if the work is worthwhile, there is no shame in lowering the bar, you can take off for free. I remember I was at a festival in Abkhazia and talked with the late Sergei Govorukhin . He was very worried that he could not invite one actress to his film. It came up against a certain amount, which this group did not have. It's a shame when you meet such greedy colleagues.

Theater

Ekaterina Porubel graduated from the Theater School named after. M.S. Shchepkina, V.I. Korshunova. Her graduation works were: Mademoiselle Kuku in the play “The Nameless Star”, Smeraldina in “The Servant of Two Masters”, Feklusha in “The Thunderstorm” by Ostrovsky.

After graduating from drama school, Catherine came to the Maly Theater. On its stage, the actress played Jacquette in Shakespeare's "Labour's End" (directed by V. Ivanov), Lusha in the play "There is no day after day" by Ostrovsky (directed by A. Korshunov), Atamansha in "The Snow Queen" by E. Shvarts (directed by V. .Ivanov), Dunyasha in “Killer Whale” by Alexei Tolstoy (director V. Ivanov), Masha in the play “Poverty is not a vice” based on Ostrovsky (director A. Korshunov) and other roles.

Movie. First roles

Ekaterina Porubel began acting in films in 2005. On screen, the actress usually appeared in episodic roles, often playing simple rural girls. Perhaps her most notable work in 2005-2009 was the role of the foreman of fisherwomen Antonida in Vitaly Melnikov’s film “Propaganda Brigade “Beat the Enemy!” Ekaterina Porubel created the image of a real Russian woman, who supported our rear during the war.

Among the actress's other roles: the mayor's wife Katya in the detective story "Krom" (2006), juvenile affairs inspector Marya Vasilievna in the drama "Someone Else's Sister" (2006), Glasha in the biographical drama "Farewell, Doctor Chekhov!" (2007), Olga Savushkina in the series “The Crime Will Be Solved” (2008).

"Seraphim the Beautiful"

When starting filming the series “Seraphim the Beautiful,” director Karine Foliyants decided to entrust the main role to Ekaterina Porubel. Her choice hit the nail on the head. The actress had to transform into an outwardly ugly, rude rural woman who survived a child’s illness, her husband’s betrayal and many other difficult trials. Ekaterina did it perfectly. And it’s not even a matter of external transformation, which, by the way, not every actress can decide to do. This quality was once possessed by the great Nona Mordyukova and Alisa Freindlich, who were not at all afraid of appearing ugly on screen. Along with the makeup (and the makeup artists worked for several hours to “intimidate” the actress), Catherine was also transformed internally, turning into an ordinary Russian woman who would stop a galloping horse and enter a burning hut.

Ekaterina Porubel herself admits that she felt very comfortable in the image of a village girl and in the appropriate outfits: “I myself am a very simple person, high heels interfere with my life. And I just got used to these clothes.” As for external unattractiveness, her opinion is as follows: “It’s just a role! To be honest, I’m not afraid of being ugly in life, because this is a relative concept. Ugliness comes in different forms. Sometimes a person is so charming that you don’t see the flaws in his appearance. And the criteria for beauty are too vague. As an actress, it was interesting for me to play Sima - she has a special character.”

The series premiered in Ukraine in October 2010 on the Inter channel, and in Russia in June 2011 on Channel One. After the release of the series, critics spoke with delight about the new star, comparing her with the already mentioned Nona Mordyukova. Such a comparison does honor to a young, talented and very promising actress.

Personal life

On the set of the series “Seraphim the Beautiful,” Ekaterina met her love. Her chosen one was Odessa resident, lighting engineer Anatoly. The actress admits that she was most captivated by Anatoly’s attitude towards her son. A year and a half later, Ekaterina and Anatoly got married. God willing, everything will work out well for them.
