Then, in 2003, Evgenia became the European champion in synchronized swimming.

At that time, the young synchronized swimmer decided to firmly connect her future life with sports. WE ARE FROM THE SAME SQUAD

In memory of Evgeniy Aleksandrovich Grigoriev

Without a doubt, many secular educational institutions from year to year, without meaning to, “forge personnel” for the Orthodox Church. Among them, of course, are the Faculty of Philology of Moscow State University, the Literary Institute and, perhaps, VGIK. Graduates of the Institute of Cinematography, who became priests or work at churches or in religious schools, have different assessments of the years of their contact with the illusion of cinema.

In 1982, the next workshop of the screenwriting department of VGIK graduated - only eight people. Soon one of the guys went to the Pskov-Pechersky Monastery, becoming a novice - a very serious act for that time. Having devoted himself to God, he always remembered his institute teacher and did not lose contact with him, even as a monk. They were close friends like men. The paths of the teacher, Evgeniy Aleksandrovich GRIGORIEV, and the student, now Archimandrite Tikhon (SHEVKUNOV), often crossed in Moscow, in the quiet walls of the Sretensky Monastery...

“I have the most grateful memory of Evgeny Alexandrovich,” recalls Fr. Tikhon. — Both while studying at VGIK and after. We had a small but very friendly class - Andrei Dmitriev, Vladimir Shcherbinin (he now works in our monastery), Vladimir Karev, Ivan Loschilin, Karina Veridyan... Evgeniy Alexandrovich gave all his strength and energy to us. We are eternally grateful to him for everything he did for us.

After college, I almost immediately entered a monastery, but I had to complete two years of studio practice. I had to return to Moscow often. At that time I often met with Evgeniy Alexandrovich. When I finally came to the monastery, our meetings became less frequent, but I always remembered and prayed for him. Then I found myself at obedience in Moscow, and we saw each other several times... He treated the path I had chosen with respect and understanding, was interested in many things, and we often called each other. In recent years we have seen each other less often... Evgeniy Alexandrovich came to visit us at the Sretensky Monastery. Several years ago he was baptized and took this act very seriously in his life. One day we got on the phone again, talked for a long time, were planning to go to the skete of our monastery in the Ryazan region, live there for several weeks, but it didn’t work out... Three days later, Evgeniy Alexandrovich passed away. They held his funeral service in our Sretensky Monastery, and from here they saw him off on his last journey. Almost our entire VGIK course, who was in Moscow, gathered... Evgeniy Alexandrovich’s son, Sasha Grigoriev, works in our monastery, a nice boy, very similar to his father.

Grigoriev Evgeniy Aleksandrovich, playwright, laureate of the State Prize named after the Vasiliev brothers, laureate of state prizes of the USSR, Honored Artist of the RSFSR.

Born in 1934. After graduating from school, he worked at a construction site, at a factory, and studied at the Moscow State Economic Institute. In 1963 he graduated from the screenwriting department of VGIK (workshop of K. Vinogradov and A. Solovyov), in 1968 - the Higher Directing Courses. The author of many film scripts, which were used to produce films that received wide recognition from viewers and the press, including such as “Our House”, “Three Days of Viktor Chernyshev”, “Romance of Lovers”, “Squad”, and others.

Leonid Nikolaevich Nekhoroshev, professor, teacher at VGIK, recalls:

— ...Zhenya Grigoriev is a native Muscovite, from a simple working-class family. His graduation script “Our House” is autobiographical, in it he talks about his surroundings, about his Moscow family. Evgeny Grigoriev wrote primarily about ordinary people. And he considered their patriarchal way of life in the best sense to be that affirming, indestructible foundation that could withstand the destructive influence of vain days. Another script by Evgeny Grigoriev, “Three Days of Viktor Chernyshev,” was a continuation of the theme of establishing basic moral norms in relations between people. In this scenario, he very keenly touched upon the problem of a young man, also from a working-class family, who, on the one hand, is attracted by the street, and on the other, by the spiritual principles that make up his family. Not an easy story. Based on this script, director Mark Osepyan made a film, which at one time caused a very great resonance.

I worked very closely with Evgeniy on the script for “The Romance of Lovers.” This scenario turned out to be unexpected both for us, who worked at Mosfilm, and for the author himself. If his other scripts were very descriptive, with details of everyday life, then here there was a completely different principle - conventionally poetic. At the same time, in the second part of the film, the poetic narration is replaced by an emphatically vital, everyday style - however, it is not by chance... And in this script, Evgeny Grigoriev’s favorite theme continues - the family and the young man in it. When he moved away from the family, from the strong family foundations, failures and falls began; returned - and this gave him the strength to withstand any life tests.

One of the most controversial scripts by E. Grigoriev is “Fathers”. Many directors immediately rushed to film it. On the other hand, the fate of this script was difficult due to censorship reasons. The script is about how a father, having learned that a young man, very impressive and self-confident, essentially seduced and ruined his daughter’s life, calls him to a meeting, having prepared a weapon in advance - a sawn-off shotgun, and wants him to repent so that somehow make up for the loss in life he caused. The young man does not agree to this. The father shoots, kills him and surrenders. The problem posed so sharply and directly in the script, of course, did not arouse the approval of the authorities. In the end, the film was produced, but it was not as strong as the script. The role of the father in it was played by a wonderful actor, the late Oleg Borisov.

Evgeny Grigoriev always took the topic of war very close to his heart. When he was invited to work on the script based on the story “Hot Snow” by Yu. Bondarev, he approached this matter with full responsibility. He wrote a wonderful script, into which he put his personal attitude towards wartime. The result was one of the best films about the Great Patriotic War, which received the State Prize.

Another script by Grigoriev about the war is “Detachment”. It tells how a soldier's detachment finds itself in Lithuania occupied by German troops. The first days of the war are coming. The detachment is separated from its units, the soldiers do not have weapons - they need to be obtained in battle with an armed, self-confident enemy...

“I think: where do they get such hatred from?” They win, they have a head start. Well, if they lose, what should we do with them? What kind of ropes should I use? What are they hoping for? What price will they pay? “We won’t speak to them in their language, we are the Red Army, we have our own morals.” We fight for everyone. “You’re for everyone,” said Urin, “and I’m for myself and Yurka!.. For Seryoga also, for grandma... He even said “brothers and sisters” and remembered Donskoy and Nevsky... Where are your Karl Liebknecht and Klara Zetkin?.. “They are in place,” said Petrov. “Apparently, for tactical reasons... But when we win, the Germans will remember...” “When we win,” Urin repeated angrily, “why will they remember this?” To become brothers? They should now remember for themselves, themselves! - There is a story, Vanya, and we are not the first. Our task is to endure and not get angry, not to forget about our main idea, what we are fighting for.

(Fragment of the scenario “Squad”)

Evgeniy Grigoriev died on August 6, 2000. The Sretensky Monastery covered the funeral costs (his relatives initially wanted to cremate him). He was interred at the Khovanskoye cemetery next to the grave of his parents.

May his memory be blessed.

Andrey Konstantinovich Shirokov, VGIK, screenwriting department, graduate of 1998.

Creation

In 2004, further changes occurred in the composition of the legendary group “Mirage”. The founder of the group, Andrei Lityagin, made fundamental changes among the soloists. Now in the group there were 4 slender girls of model appearance: Nicole Ambrazaitis, Elena Stepanyuk, Maria Kharcheva and Evgenia Morozova (the singer’s height is 167 cm). The performers did not sing in their own voices, but performed to the soundtrack of ex-soloists Natalia Gulkina and Margarita Sukhankina.
