Elena’s heroine, a young teacher Nastya, only knows about her father that he is the hero of her mother’s short holiday novel... After this, Elena Shevchenko starred in such projects as “Two Moons, Three Suns”, “Dying is Easy”, “Mom, do not be sad". Then “The Bourgeois’s Birthday”, “NEXT-2”, “Heavy Sand” and many others appeared in the artist’s filmography. The actress played with Quartet I in the comedy Election Day, portrayed herself as a university teacher in Harp for the Beloved, seduced her friend’s husband in Lessons in Seduction, and became the unhappy mother of her daughter Marina in the melodrama Arithmetic of Meanness. Actor career
Elena’s film debut took place a year after graduating from GITIS - the girl starred in Vadim Abdrashitov’s art-house drama “Armavir”, in which young Sergei Garmash also appeared. The actress also played the main role in Alexander Isaev’s social drama “Putana” and appeared in the film “Black and White,” which was filmed in the USA in English (this film was never released in Russia).

In 1997, the actress was involved in the production of “Tender is the Night,” which was staged at the “Theater of the Moon” by Sergei Prokhanov.
The next few years were extremely fruitful for the aspiring actress - she received exclusively leading roles, including in Vladimir Mashkov’s debut film “The Orphan of Kazan” (1997), which united such great actors as Valentin Gaft, Lev Durov and Oleg Tabakov. Its heroine is a provincial teacher Nastya, who decided to find her father, whom she never knew.

In the early 2000s, the actress continued to actively act in film, although the main roles mostly did not go to her. Success returned to Shevchenko in 2007, when she played the role of Vicky, Emmanuil Gedeonovich’s companion, in the force majeure comedy “Election Day” from the creators of the “Quartet I” theater and the “Accident” group.

After the release of the popular comedy, Elena was again offered leading roles - the following year the actress appeared in the films directed by Alexei Lisovets “Lessons in Seduction” with Yuri Chursin and “Alien Souls”.
Shevchenko’s most famous works in the period 2010-2015 were roles in the TV series “Demons”, Lisovets’s next film “The Arithmetic of Meanness”, Nikolai Khomerika’s serial thriller “Dragon Syndrome”, the comedy series “Exchange Brothers” and the spy saga of Rauf Kubaev “Why?” The Motherland begins."

Shevchenko also staged the play “Stirlitz Walks Down the Corridor” based on Alla Sokolova’s play “Faryatyev’s Fantasies” on the stage of the Teatr.doc theater. Personal life
The actress was married twice. At the Novosibirsk Theater School she took the same course with Vladimir Mashkov. Their romance began after they attended a holiday together with a mutual friend. Soon Mashkov and Shevchenko got married. But then Vladimir submitted his resignation from the school and left for Moscow. And Elena remained in Novosibirsk, where in 1985 she gave birth to her daughter Masha, who also became an actress. That same year, after graduating from college, she followed her husband to the capital. Although the couple ended up in the same city, their marriage was doomed - they separated. Elena's second husband was Igor Lebedev, a graduate of the directing department of GITIS. Subsequently, he worked as a producer and head of the Carmen Video studio. The couple have two children: the eldest son Nikita and the youngest son Vsevolod. When the brothers grew up, they did not connect their fate with cinema.
Biography
Elena Shevchenko was born into the family of a pilot in an air town near Novosibirsk. Before graduating from school, she entered the Novosibirsk Theater School. Elena later received a certificate of secondary education at a school for working youth. At the school, Elena Shevchenko took the same course with Vladimir Mashkov, whom she soon married.
In 1985, Elena had a daughter, Masha. After graduating from college that same year, she went to Moscow, where her husband already lived.

Vladimir Mashkov was Elena’s classmate. Their romance was extremely passionate and stormy. But the strong characters of the spouses made themselves felt: they did not know how to give in in quarrels and when solving family problems. At the theater school, Mashkov was an excellent student, but he still had to leave school. It was his wife who complained about him to the teachers when Vladimir got into a fight.
Moving to Moscow
Vladimir had to move to the capital, where he was accepted into the Moscow Art Theater School. Elena, who managed to graduate from college and give birth to a daughter, also joined her husband.
