The secret sins of Natalia Fateeva

Childhood and family of Natalia Egorova

Natalya Egorova was born in the city of Stavropol. Her father was a military man, so the family constantly moved from city to city. For a long time, the family of a serviceman lived in the cities of Central Asia. After Natalya was suspected of tuberculosis, her parents decided to move to the North, where in a cold climate it would be easier to get rid of the disease. And indeed, the disease soon subsided.

During her school years, the girl lived an active life, she was fond of sports, sang, took part in concerts and theatrical productions, for which she was called an artist. After receiving her diploma, she was preparing to enter college, but unexpectedly, even for herself, she decided to apply to the theater school in Irkutsk. She was accepted the first time, but she only studied there for a year. After the first year, Egorova went to Moscow, where she attempted to enroll in almost all theater educational institutions in the capital. Unfortunately, she was not accepted into any of them. TV crews drew attention to Natalya, standing in the crowd of applicants in the park near GITIS. They invited her to star in the film “City of First Love.” So Natasha remained in the capital and for a year studied in a studio formed at the Central Children's Theater. As a result, she was accepted into the Moscow Art Theater School.

Egorova Natalya Sergeevna

Born on August 22, 1950 in Usolye-Sibirskoye, Irkutsk region.
In 1968-1969 she studied at the Irkutsk Theater School. In 1975 she graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School. In 1975-1984 - actress of the New Drama Theater. Since 1984 - actress of the Moscow Art Theater (since 1989 - Moscow Art Theater named after A.P. Chekhov). People's Artist of the Russian Federation (2002).

“At school she was fond of sports, sang, took part in a dance club, and performed in concerts. Teachers and classmates called her “our artist.” But when Natasha Egorova heard these same words at the graduation party when presenting her matriculation certificate, she was offended: she had not seriously thought about the acting profession. And yet, already preparing for college exams, I suddenly thought: “Why not?” And - she entered the Irkutsk Theater School. This happened largely unexpectedly for Natasha herself. But even more sudden was the decision she made a year later - to go to study in Moscow. The summer “marathon” to all the capital’s theater universities was unsuccessful for her. However, in the crowd of applicants in the park near GITIS, Egorova was noticed by Mosfilm members... and invited to star in the film “City of First Love.” This is how her film debut took place. Natasha studied at the studio at the Central Children's Theater for a year, then was accepted into the Moscow Art Theater School. The biography of the course in which Egorova studied turned out to be happy: on its basis, the New Drama Theater was created. The artist’s stage track record includes the play “My Fair Lady,” where she mischievously and wittily plays Eliza Doolittle, “Last Summer in Chulimsk,” “Years of Wandering,” and participation in the Moscow Art Theater production of “Live and Remember.” In the cinema, in a relatively short period of time, Egorova played in twelve films. Her first big role was Lida in “Re-Wedding” - a young girl selflessly in love. Almost simultaneously, the actress starred in the films “Channel” and “Eldest Son”. “At first I liked everything about cinema,” says Natalya Egorova. “Then disappointments came, but I enjoyed filming the television film “The Eldest Son.” It turned out that here I should be completely different than before. In the theater, open emotions were common, but here you had to constantly restrain yourself. Director Vitaly Melnikov told me everything back then: “An ensemble is a small orchestra, where everyone has their own part, and you want to play what is appropriate for the role of Evgeny Pavlovich Leonov...”
