Childhood and youth
Georgy was born in Moscow into a family of engineers. While studying at school, Gregory most liked subjects such as physics, chemistry, and biology. From an early age the boy dreamed of long journeys.
I loved reading various encyclopedias. Grisha also attended the “Candle” theater group, but at that time he didn’t even think about becoming an actor.
After finishing nine classes, the young man went to study to become a pharmacist at a medical school. Having received a pharmacist diploma, Gregory began working in his specialty.
But the young man quickly became bored with the monotonous work of a pharmacist, and he decided to change his field of activity. At first, he couldn’t decide on a profession: he worked either as a manager, or in an advertising agency, or as a social worker and as a fax copy maker at Mosfilm.
Gregory's desire to become an actor appeared after he began working as a stage assembler at the Satyricon Theater. The young man worked in this position for two years. Then I decided to try myself in a creative profession.
Since 1999, Grigory has been studying acting skills at the Shchukin School in the workshop of the Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (2006) Rodion Yuryevich Ovchinnikov (born in 1960). Already in his fourth year, the young man began acting in films. Also, during his studies, he appeared on various theater stages (the Mayakovsky Theater and the Cool Theater).
Since 2003, the artist continued his studies at the Higher Courses for Scriptwriters and Directors.

Biography
Born on October 10, 1974 into a family of engineers in Moscow. As a child, he lived on Mosfilmovskaya Street, opposite the film studio of the same name, where his mother worked as a process engineer. From an early age he was interested in biology, from the age of 8 he studied encyclopedias, memorizing the names of animals in Latin, and dreamed of travel. Reptiles, and especially snakes, are the most beloved representatives of the fauna.
After graduating from school, he enters a pharmaceutical school with a specialty as a pharmacist. However, he does not work for long in his profession, getting tired of the monotony. Grigory looked for himself in various directions: he completed accounting courses and preparatory courses for a law school, for a short time he managed to work in an advertising agency, as a social worker, as a manager, and also as a manufacturer of facsimile copies (copies of museum exhibits) at Mosfilm: “It was an incredibly interesting period, I earned pennies, literally saved on food,” Gregory says about this period of his life. But he quickly realized that all this was not his: “I believe that every person should look for himself, as they say, to the last. It’s better to look for yourself and not find it than to settle on something mediocre and, as a result, not get any pleasure from life and work.”
Even in his youth, he studied at the Svecha theater studio at the Savyolovsky District Palace of Culture, but did not seriously think about the acting profession until, at the age of 22, fate brought Grigory to Satyricon, where he worked for 2 years as a stage assembler. After watching many performances and seeing the inside of the theater kitchen, Grigory gradually came to the idea that he needed to look for himself in a creative environment. In parallel with this work, he began studying in the preparatory group at the Moscow Art Theater School, trying his hand as an actor. And in 1999 he entered the Shchukin School, the workshop of Rodion Ovchinnikov. Already in his fourth year, Antipenko made his film debut, starring in an episode of the series “Code of Honor”, and for some time played in the “Cool Theater”, the Mayakovsky Theater. After graduating from college in 2003, he was accepted into the troupe of the “Et cetera” theater, where he was involved in the plays: “Parisian Romance”, “The Secrets of Auntie Melkin”. For his roles in the play “Parisian Romance” at the Et Cetera theater in 2004, Antipenko was nominated for the annual Moscow Debuts theater award. Participated in the plays: “Beautiful People”, “Fasicky Horses”, “The Old Son with Enormous Wings”, “Don Quixote of La Mancha”.
At the same time, Gregory began to successfully act in films. Despite the fact that his hero Platon Amelin in the series “Talisman of Love” is a negative character, the actor has the first fans of his work. But general fame comes during the filming of the series “Don’t Be Born Beautiful,” where he plays the president of the Zimaletto fashion house, Andrei Zhdanov. Grigory and his hero have nothing in common, however, he played his role simply brilliantly, having studied and worked through all aspects of his character. As the actor says, this role became a real school of skill for him: “I had to understand my character, understand a person who has no problems. Therefore, it was interesting for me to “make” this hero.” In 2006, for the role of Andrei Zhdanov, Grigory was awarded the Ukrainian People's Award "TV Star" as the best television actor of the year.
After completing the filming of “Don’t Be Born Beautiful,” Antipenko begins to actively act in films: in the ironic detective story “The Man Without a Gun,” in the comedy “Luna-Odessa,” in the historical film “Conspiracy,” in the melodrama “Razluchnitsa,” in the drama “This Evening the Angels Cried.” ", for which at the Sergei Gerasimov festival "Loving a Person" in Chelyabinsk, Grigory was awarded the prize for "Best Actor".
My main hobby is mountaineering, but not as a sport, but as a way of perceiving life, which helps me realize myself and think about eternal values. He visited the Caucasus, Tien Shan, Altai and other remarkable places. For the first time, in 1998, he made his first ascent alone in the Caucasus to test himself and overcome his own fears: “From there I want to return, but not for the sake of leaving, but to share. Because emotions are overwhelming. You get out of there and want to kiss people because they are all wonderful. You forgive them in advance all their sins, anger or any shortcomings. The problems of vanity that exist in the human world are immeasurably small compared to the feeling that appears there,” Grigory shares in an interview with Vadim Vernik’s “Who’s There” program. In 2010, he conquered the Khan Tengri Peak (northern Tien Shan Tengritag Range) (7070m), in 2011 he conquered Lenin Peak (Pamir) (7134m), in 2012 - Korzhenevskaya Peak (Pamir) (7105 m).
In addition to filming films, Gregory plays Professor Higgins in the enterprise play “Pygmalion” directed by. P. Safonov based on the work of the same name by B. Shaw. For its bold creative experiment, the performance was awarded a special prize by the jury of the Amur Autumn festival in Blagoveshchensk in 2007. He also took part in the performances “The Result is Obvious”, dir. Zhitinkin and the play “Orpheus and Eurydice”, dir. P. Safonov.
In 2012, Antipenko became a student at the Higher Courses for Scriptwriters and Directors.
