Milyavskaya Eva is the daughter of a once popular couple of pop performers called the Cabaret Duo Academy. The fate of a teenage girl cannot be called typical, since Eva was born with certain developmental disabilities. In 1974, Lolita’s mother introduced her to the singer Irina Ponarovskaya, who in those years worked at the VIA “Singing Guitars”. Ponarovskaya took Lolita to sing along with her.
In 1984 she graduated from the Moscow State Institute of Culture with a degree in directing cultural performances and celebrations.
In 1984 she moved to Odessa. She worked at the Odessa Philharmonic, where she met Alexander Tsekalo, in 1987 she went with him to Moscow, first sang in the “Hat” quartet, replacing Alena Shlyafman, Tsekalo’s ex-wife. In order to register in Moscow, she entered into a fictitious marriage with Vitaly Milyavsky.
In 1985, Tsekalo and Lolita founded the pop group Cabaret Duo “Academy”.
