Olga Dibtseva: biography, creativity, career, personal life

Biography. early years

The future star of the film “Slave” was born into the family of a university chemistry teacher and an architect.

Her childhood years, according to the actress, were carefree, but her parents forbade her to sit in front of the TV for a long time.

As a child, Olya read a lot and was fond of drawing. Mom hoped that her daughter would become a famous artist, and dad hoped that she would follow in his footsteps and turn out to be an architect. Having received a certificate of secondary education, the girl entered the university in St. Petersburg and spent a whole year understanding the features of graphic design, until she was completely bored with it.

Secretly taking the documents, she went to Moscow, where she entered GITIS. Her parents accepted her choice. As a student, Dibtseva played in productions of the Institute’s Educational Theater, such as “A Hero of Our Time,” “A Scandalous Incident,” and “Much Ado About Nothing.”

Childhood

On June 25, 1986, Olga Nikolaevna Dibtseva was born in the city of Leningrad. In the girl’s childhood, everything was entirely intellectual: the city, parents, education, hobbies. His father, an architect, and his mother, a university teacher, raised their only child in strictness. One of the main prohibitions in the Dibtsevs’ house was television.

But Olya herself also shares another side of her childhood memories: due to the total employment of her parents at work, the girl was mostly raised by her grandmother, whom the little girl lovingly called only “grandmother.” Unlike the apartment of strict mom and dad, in grandma’s house the TV worked non-stop. Brazilian soap operas, so popular in those days, were especially loved by Olya. The girl could not even dream that in the future she herself would become the heroine of many similar series.

Studying at school in the northern capital of Russia was easy for Dibtseva; she always found time for her main hobbies - reading books and drawing. The latter became significant in the choice of Olga’s future intended profession after graduation. At the insistence of her parents, Olga Dibtseva entered the graphic design department at the main university in the city on the Neva - St. Petersburg State University. But the supposed artist never left the walls of the educational building on Vasilyevsky Island.

A year later, Alexei Sidorov invited the young actress to take part in the filming of the third part of “Shadowboxing,” where Andrei Panin and the current head of Kalmykia, Batu Khasikov, were her filming partners.
