A little about Mashkova

Maria Mashkova is a Russian theater and film actress. Daughter of the popular Russian actor Vladimir Mashkov and actress Elena Shevchenko. The actress made her debut in the film industry when she was 11 years old. Maria was involved in V. Grammatikov’s film “The Little Princess”, where she played the role of the mischievous girl Lavinia. After school, the young girl expressed a desire to study at the Plekhanov Academy at the Faculty of Economics. But after some time, she changed her choice and decided to connect her life with the acting profession, enrolling in the Theater School, on the course of V. Poglazov.

The actress’s personal life did not go very smoothly. Now Alexander Slobodyanik is Mashkova’s husband. Before becoming the pianist’s wife, Maria divorced her first husband, a colleague in the series “Don’t Be Born Beautiful” - Artem Semakin. Maria married Artem quite early. It’s a pity, but the actress’s first marriage turned out to be short-lived, although for the sake of Mashkova Semakin left his first wife and little daughter. However, the media received information that Artem was cheating on Maria and had not previously been an ideal family man and an exemplary husband.

Maria was married to Semakin for 4 years (2005-2009). And in the summer of 2010 she married Alexander, giving birth to his daughter Stefania almost immediately.

Maria's first husband - Artem Semakin

Maria met actor Artem Semakin in 2005 during joint filming in the TV series “Don’t Be Born Beautiful.” At that time, he was married to actress Anastasia Milyaeva and was raising a daughter, but for the sake of Masha he left his family. Mashkova, according to her, was captivated by Artyom’s sense of humor; this is the quality she values most in men.

Maria Mashkova and Artem Semakin

For some time they lived in a civil marriage, but one day they spontaneously went to the registry office and got married. Later they had a wedding at OM Cafe, the owner of which was their friend. The closest ones were invited, the celebration took place without pathos, at home. After the wedding, the newlyweds went to Paris for a few days.

Maria with her first husband

Despite their busy lives, the couple spent a lot of time together and loved going to the movies. But when they rented a large three-room apartment, they bought a huge TV and started watching movies at home. Two Yorkshire terriers, Zinaida and Gandhi, lived with them, although Masha and Artem always dreamed of a Labrador.

Maria with Artem

In 2008, they starred together in two films: “Legacy” and “Breaking News.” Later, Semakin went to Yalta to shoot the film “Moon-Moon”, where he began an affair with actress Sofia Kashtanova. Artem openly admitted this to Maria, and in April 2009 they divorced. The couple had no children.

Birth of girls: Stephanie and Alexandra

Having given birth to Alexander’s first girl, Maria plunged headlong into family life, and many had the impression that nothing could overshadow the happiness of the young people. Mashkova stopped “going out” and attending fashionable parties and even disappeared from view of viewers and fans for some time.

Journalists began to have questions and assumptions: has Vladimir Mashkov’s daughter really lost interest in her acting career, or maybe her husband Alexander is forbidding her to continue working? Is it true that the actress left the stage forever and decided to become an exemplary housewife and wife?

However, a little later it became known why Maria led a secluded lifestyle for some time. Having given birth to Stefania, the actress almost immediately became pregnant with her second child, giving birth in March 2012 to another girl, who was named Alexandra. The age difference between the sisters is only a year and a half. However, after giving birth, literally a couple of months later, the young people broke up. Neither Maria nor Alexander have yet given official comments about the breakup. In financial terms, according to journalists, there should not have been any problems, since Alexander’s income was enough to fully provide for his family.

Life of an actress after marriage

Currently, Alexander’s ex-wife, Maria, continues to actively play in television series and films. Ironically, almost immediately after breaking up with her husband, she was offered to play in the TV series “An Ideal Marriage.”

Her mother, Elena Shevchenko, helps her in raising her children. Whether the talented pianist helps his ex-wife financially or communicates with his daughters is unknown.

If we compare the fate of Alexander’s mother-in-law and former wife, Maria Mashkova, it turns out that they are quite similar. Both mother and daughter - each, at one time, were left with children in their arms and divorced. The only difference is that Elena Shevchenko managed to arrange her personal life and become happy in marriage, but whether Maria will succeed is not yet clear.
