Beautiful legend
Our hero claims that he was born in one of the most beautiful cities in Italy - Palermo. There he spent his childhood. Alexander inherited his dark skin and dark hair from his father, who is half Gypsy and half Turkish. And his mother is a purebred Italian. She inherited her assertive character.
Let's assume that all this is true. But how does the guy know Russian so well? There is another story about how a family from prosperous Italy moved to a small village in the Volgograd region, where there are practically no jobs and prospects.
Media coverage
The case of Svetlana Davydova is covered in detail by the Vedomosti and Kommersant newspapers, as well as many other Russian media. Many foreign media outlets also reported about the arrest of Svetlana Davydova. In particular, the Euronews channel[46] broadcast a statement from lawyers and human rights activists that Davydova’s act cannot be considered treason, since her assumptions contradict the official position of the Ministry of Defense, which stated that Russian military personnel are not fighting in Ukraine.
In addition to purely news information, many media outlets published analytical materials prepared by various publicists in connection with Davydova’s case. Using the Davydova case as an example, the authors of these materials draw various conclusions about the state of the modern Russian state and its relationship with an individual person. In particular:
- Maxim Ivanov noted that the case of S. Davydova is not the first time when State Duma deputies, “accustomed to working on orders,” delegate the solution of high-profile problems to President Putin[47].
- Konstantin Eggert assessed the release of Svetlana Davydova as “a small step from the abyss into which Russian society, it seems to me, is sliding”[48].
- Maria Eismont concluded that quickly giving maximum publicity is the only way for civil society in modern Russia to defend their rights[49].
- Evgeny Bai found Davydova’s case to be one of the proofs that when a crisis occurs in a “vertical state,” all its links begin to fail, causing chaos[50].
- Expert of the Russian human rights public political movement “For Human Rights” E. Ikhlov expressed the belief that by her act Davydova realized “the right of the nation to stop the crime of the government” and drew an analogy between the political trial of Davydova and the case of the radical German pacifist, 1935 Nobel Peace Prize laureate Karl von Ossietzky[51].
- Professor of the Institute of Philosophy of St. Petersburg State University I. B. Mikirtumov drew parallels between Davydova’s act and the activities of other Russians who were also once oppositionists - from V. I. Lenin to Leo Tolstoy. In his article about [52].
Life before the project
In his youth, our hero had a complex about his appearance. He didn't like thin lips, thin shoulders and the shape of his chin. The boy swore that he would grow up and fix all this. And he kept his word.
In high school, Sasha became interested in sports. He spent his days in the gym, pumping up the muscles of his chest, abdomen and arms. As a result, the guy got the sculpted body he dreamed of.
After graduating from school, Alexander Materazzo (see photo above) went to Moscow. There the guy got a job at a strip club. A young and muscular handsome man undressed to the music. And he did it in such a way that all the girls present in the hall squealed with pleasure. Thanks to striptease, Sasha was able to earn a decent amount of money in a short time. And then he was able to fulfill his old dream - to change his appearance. The young man went to a plastic surgeon. He underwent surgery to change the shape of his chin and enlarge his lips.
To keep her face in perfect condition, Materazzo regularly visits a cosmetologist. He gets facials and other beauty treatments.
Participant of "House-2"
In the winter of 2007, a bright and tall guy wearing a chic fur coat and earrings appeared on a famous television project. It was Alexander Materazzo. He called himself an “Italian stallion” and a successful businessman. Our hero expressed sympathy for Olga, nicknamed the Sun. But the girl immediately cut off all the guy’s attempts to court her.
The new object of Materazzo's affection was the blonde Olga Buzova. The young man tried to show her his pumped up and tanned body as often as possible. He hoped that the beauty would fall in love with him. But that did not happen. Outwardly, Olga liked Alex. However, the girl considered his intentions insincere. Materazzo was soon sent home in a men's vote.
The second arrival of the “Italian stallion” at Dom-2 took place in May 2009. He became the producer of the Istra Witches project group. But he didn’t last long in this position.
Later, Alexander brought his beloved Svetlana Davydova to the project. They met in one of the capital's clubs. The long-legged brunette with silicone lips did not want to go to Dom-2. But the guy managed to persuade her.
The couple spent only a month on the reality show. Other guys (Gena Dzhikia and Gleb Klubnichka) drew attention to Sveta. Alexander was simply going crazy with jealousy. One day he simply took his beloved and left the set with her.
Svetlana Davydova
Svetlana Davydova is another participant in “House-2” whose desire to become the star of the project and “get out among the people” did not lead to good results. Before the reality show, Svetlana was a very pretty girl, but her desire to become even more beautiful ended with her lips being enlarged to incredible sizes. Donatella Versace and Mickey Rourke nervously smoke on the sidelines.
Wedding
For their celebration, Alexander Materazzo and Svetlana Davydova chose a beautiful date - 09.09.09. They believe that these numbers will bring good luck to their union.
On the specified day, the lovers in a snow-white Hummer drove up to the Civil Registry Office No. 4, located on Butyrskaya Street. There they signed, exchanging gold and platinum pendants (instead of rings). The outfits of the bride and groom deserve special attention. Sasha put on white trousers and a checkered jacket. And Sveta was wearing an unusual dress, created by her designer friend.
Then the newlyweds, together with friends and relatives, went to celebrate their wedding in one of the elite restaurants in Moscow. There were many “star” guests at the wedding, including musician Alexey Potekhin (from the group “Hands Up”), former member of “House-2” Stepan Menshchikov and stylist Sergei Zverev.
Facts of the case
According to investigators, in April 2014, Svetlana Davydova noticed that military unit No. 48886 of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, located next to her house, the 82nd separate radio engineering brigade of the GRU, was empty. Later, while traveling on a shuttle bus, Davydova overheard a conversation from a serviceman of this unit that he and his colleagues were “being transported in small groups to Moscow, always in civilian clothes, and from there on to a business trip”[6].
Davydova, who closely followed the conflict in Ukraine, realized that military personnel were leaving for Donetsk and reported this to the Ukrainian Embassy by telephone[7]. According to Davydova’s husband, “she even wrote a note to herself about all this, and now they have filed it in the case. Sveta called the Ukrainians and said that she had such data and wanted to prevent possible victims”[6].
The FSB learned about her actions from Davydova’s neighbors[8].
On the merits of the accusation, the press received the following information from lawyer Andrei Stebenev[9]:
According to the conclusion of a commission of specialists of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the information provided by Davydova is reliable and represents a state secret with the secrecy level of “secret”, the specified information provided to the Ukrainian authorities could be used against the security of the Russian Federation, in particular, jeopardize the effectiveness of the activities to strengthen the state border with Ukraine. |
Present tense
Many fans of “House-2” would like to know about the fate of Alexander. Everything is fine with him - both with business and with his personal life. For 7 years now he has been happily married to his beloved girl, Svetlana Davydova. They can afford to shop in the best supermarkets in Moscow, travel and dress expensively.
Materazzo Alexander organizes show programs. He also continues to work as a stripper and model. His wife supports him in everything. If you think that Sveta is sitting idly by, you are very mistaken. She recently became a collaborator with the capital's clothing designer Natalia Richi. Their joint collections are popular among Moscow fashionistas. Svetlana and her colleagues have immediate plans to enter the foreign market.
After the Gusev family left the Doma-2 project, the organizers contacted Alexander and his wife. They were invited to again become participants in the reality show. But the guys refused. They no longer want to live under the guns of cameras and create scandals for the sake of high ratings.
A resident of Vyazma accused of treason gave her first interview in a pre-trial detention center
A resident of the Smolensk region, Svetlana Davydova, accused of high treason, who is under arrest in the Lefortovo pre-trial detention center, gave her first interview published on the Open Russia website. Svetlana Davydova said that lawyer Andrei Stebenev, provided to her by the state, promised to file a complaint against the arrest. However, earlier in the media he claimed that his client refused to appeal. According to Ms. Davydova, if she writes a complaint herself, it will be sent only on February 2. The accused considers this step “senseless”, since she has already “confessed to everything.”
Human rights activist Zoya Svetova met in Lefortovo with Vyazma resident Svetlana Davydova, against whom a criminal case has been opened for treason in favor of Ukraine. In April last year, Ms. Davydova reported to the Ukrainian Embassy that the military unit next to her house was empty and the soldiers could be sent to Donetsk.
Even a cook can betray the state
On January 21, a search was conducted in Ms. Davydova’s apartment, and a day later the Lefortovo District Court chose a preventive measure for her in the form of detention. According to Ms. Davydova, the court considered that the accused could hide from the investigation and influence witnesses. “But I don’t even have a foreign passport,” the woman said. The fact that Svetlana Davydova is a mother of many children did not influence the judge. “When she was arrested, there were no documents indicating that she had minor children, but now they have already been added to the case,” explained her lawyer Andrei Stebenev.
According to Svetlana Davydova, she agreed to appeal the arrest and even “signed the paper,” but earlier Mr. Stebenev announced his client’s refusal to appeal, “since all these hearings and the hype in the press are unnecessary psychological trauma for her children.”
Deputies and human rights activists will look into the case of the person accused of treason
"What to do now? After all, even if I write a complaint to the court, it will only be sent on Monday, and all this will be pointless. And I confessed to everything,” said Svetlana Davydova.
The lawyer himself believes that the case against his client was brought not without reason. “There is information, there are facts, there are reasons. But in the future the investigation will look into it, because there are significant points that need to be investigated and on them to obtain opinions from experts in the field of state secrets,” said Andrei Stebenev.
State Duma deputy Dmitry Gudkov spoke in defense of Svetlana Davydova, asking the Prosecutor General’s Office to explain the essence of the claims against the resident of Vyazma, the chairman of the Yabloko party, Sergei Mitrokhin, as well as members of the Presidential Council for Human Rights, who took special control of the situation. “Based on the disposition of Art. 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Treason”), questions arise about the validity of such qualification of Svetlana Davydova’s actions. The choice of arrest as a preventive measure for a mother of many children raising seven children, the youngest of whom is only two months old, is also cause for concern,” the HRC reported.
