4. Place a large pot of water on the fire. It is advisable to salt the water and add laurel and peppercorns to it. Wet your hand with cold water, scoop up a handful of potato mixture and form into a flat cake. Place the minced meat inside and pinch the edges tightly. Roll the filled flatbreads in starch, this will prevent them from boiling.

5. Gently lower the finished products into boiling water, stirring the water until the zeppelins float to the surface. Then cook the potato cakes until tender (30 minutes).

  • 200 gr. Carrot
  • 600 gr. Potato
  • 500 gr. Minced lamb (or minced meat)

  • 25 gr. Butter
  • 150 ml. Low-fat cream
  • 0.5 tsp Dried ground herbs
  • 250 ml. Tomato juice
  • Taste. Ground black pepper, salt.

1. Peel the potatoes and boil in salted water. Mash into a puree, adding cream and butter. Peel the onion and chop finely. Peel the carrots and cut into small cubes. Place in a frying pan with heated vegetable oil and sauté until the onion is soft.

2. Add chopped lamb (minced meat) to the pan with vegetables. Stir and fry over medium heat until the meat is browned. Stirring constantly with a wooden spatula, add flour. Cook for 5 minutes.

3. Pour in tomato juice, herbs, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Transfer the meat and vegetables to a large baking dish.
