The fate of Vladislav Vetrov. Parting with Vera Sotnikova was terrible

Childhood

The future actor Vetrov Vladislav was born on the ninth day of February 1964 in one of the Georgian cities - Tskhakaya. His parents had nothing to do with cinema: his mother was an aviation technologist, and his father was a military pilot. The family tried to spend as much time together as possible.

When little Vladik was five years old, they moved to Taganrog. My love for theater began in childhood, thanks to my parents. It was they who planted the seed of reverence for art in their son, helping him organize a home puppet theater. But Vladislav, an actor in the future, began going to the real Wind Theater when he was in fourth grade. He didn’t really like school, and he didn’t like studying, but Vladik went to classes at the People’s Drama Theater with great pleasure.

But at the insistence of his parents, after graduating from school, he did not enter a creative university, but went for a “reliable specialty” that could feed both him and his family in the future. In addition, the years of his studies were at the height of the war in Afghanistan, and the university had a military department.

Vetrov and Vera Sotnikova

Later, Vetrov experienced love again. Currently, the artist is happy with his young wife, actress of the Moscow Youth Theater Ekaterina Kirchak. The couple is raising a son, Vsevolod, who was born in 2008. As you know, the artist tries to hide the details of his personal life from the public. Based on this, he does not seek to publish photos of his children and wives in the public domain.

Vladislav Vetrov and Ekaterina Kirchak

“Do you know that happiness loves silence? And if I’m really happy now, then I don’t want to shout about it to the whole world. I'm already comfortable. I also try not to publish photos on the Internet. For what? Yes, maybe some pictures end up on the Internet, but I don’t capture my every step, the step of my wife and child, in order to show it to the public. The photos are taken for the family archive, not for the public!” — said Vladislav Vetrov.

Studies…

When Vladislav Vetrov, whose biography interests fans of his talent, studied at the Taganrog Radio Engineering Institute, he had to get up at four in the morning every day. He went to work - sweeping the streets near the local history museum. Vetrov married early and had a son. There was a catastrophic shortage of scholarships. He cleaned up before the first tram, because they were just walking towards the institute, and Vladislav was very embarrassed that one of the students or teachers would see him. By eight he was running to class for two and a half hours. And so I took the same tram to the theater rehearsal at eleven in the morning.

...and work

In his free moments behind the scenes, he wrote his thesis and rehearsed his scenes. Then, grabbing a bag with empty bottles, he ran to the dairy kitchen for milk. I brought it home, ran again to the rehearsal, and then to the institute for the last class. And almost every evening he went on stage in the play. This is how his life went. And the teachers who came to performances at the theater in the evenings, seeing him at the institute in the morning, could not understand where they had seen this student. After receiving his diploma, Vladislav Vetrov, an actor with enormous talent, continued to work at the Taganrog Drama Theater, where he had the opportunity to appear on stage in the guise of the Master and Captain Blood.

Theater

The creative biography of Vladislav Vetrov started during his student years. The lack of specialized education did not prevent the young actor from appearing on the stage of the Taganrog Drama Theater. At dawn, when the trams were not yet running, the young artist worked as a janitor. He had a family early to feed. Then the student rushed off to class at the university, and towards evening his real life began - the theater one.

Sometimes teachers who attended drama theater performances looked closely at their own student, trying to remember where they saw the young man. This was also facilitated by the actor’s memorable appearance: although not as chic as in adulthood, he had a characteristic mustache, a lively face, and tall height (187 cm).

After successfully writing his thesis on the design of vacuum electrical devices, the actor got a job in a theater, where he had been appearing on stage for several years. The actor masterfully portrayed Captain Blood and the Master. At the age of 24, Vladislav Vetrov already had 14 performances in his collection, in 13 of which the actor played the main roles. It is noteworthy: the actor’s skill turned out to be so high that Vetrov began to be “raised” in categories, despite the fact that he did not have a work record or specialized education.

For some time, Vladislav Vetrov worked at the Riga Russian Drama Theater, but soon returned to his native Taganrog Drama Theater. As it turned out - not for long. In 1991, he was invited to play in the film “Smoke”, the lengthy filming of which took place in Germany.

In 1993, the artist returned to the theater again, but not to his native Taganrog, but to Rostov. On the stage of the Rostov-on-Don Drama Theater, the actor first tried his hand as a stage director. Vetrov staged the plays “The Ideal Couple” and “Runaway Women”.

The lack of theatrical education did not prevent him from achieving such heights in the profession that in 1998 Vladislav Vetrov was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation.

And in 2002, Vladislav Vladimirovich moved to the capital. Galina Volchek accepted the actor into the famous Sovremennik, where Vetrov appears on stage with such stars as Marina Neyolova, Valentin Gaft, Chulpan Khamatova, Olga Drozdova and many others, whose names are known throughout the country.

Today, the artist has roles played in performances by such famous theater directors as Galina Volczek, Andrzej Wajda and Kirill Serebrennikov.

A year and a half of life in “Smoke”

Vetrov never received an acting education, but he never regretted it. After working in the theater for several years, he left there for his film debut. His first role was in the three-part film “Smoke” (at the audition he even beat Efremov Jr.). Filming took place in Germany.

Today he remembers this with a smile and says that in that film he took more photographs than acted. He didn't work there as an actor. And now he feels it. After all, Lyubshin himself was nearby on the set, whom Vetrov simply adored in all the roles he played.

This work changed a lot in the actor’s worldview. My whole life has changed. Vladislav Vetrov, whose filmography began with this film, told how much fear and nerves there were. But that was before... But after three episodes... Filming lasted quite a long time - a year and a half. Now they would shoot much faster - digitally. And then there was celluloid. He learned a lot during this time.

Then Vetrov worked at the Riga Russian Drama Theater, returned home and went into the shadow of the curtains of the Rostov Gorky Academic Theater. Already within these walls he received the highest acting category and became a leading theater artist. And in 1998 he was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation.

Three important roles

Vladislav Vetrov is an actor who has never been a supporter of strict theatrical dogmas. He believes that every artist needs the director to respect him and show maximum attention to his nature. Only then does an ideal duo emerge - actor-director.

The desire for an acting career, Vetrov is sure, is only possible for free choice and maximum independence, but he does not yet have such an opportunity. Therefore, he has too few roles for which he is not only not ashamed, but for which he can be proud. Actor Vetrov Vladislav is sure that in his creative biography there are only three of them: Kin IV, played back in Rostov, Timirev in “The Admiral” and Vasily III in Eshpaiev’s “Ivan the Terrible”. It is in these roles that he is confident, and is 100% responsible for them. The actor believes this happened because the directors listened and heard him.

"Admiral" in the career of an actor

At the end of 2009, viewers of Channel One saw the television film “Admiral,” which became the main premiere of the year.

Vladislav Vetrov, an actor whose biography has been full of work on interesting characters for many years, played one of the main roles in it. His hero was naval officer Sergei Timirev, who became an unwitting victim of someone else's love. He adores his wife Anna, but she leaves him, unable to cope with her feelings for Admiral Kolchak.

Now Vetrov recalls with pleasure that it was he who was approved for the filming, having rejected a more media actor, citing the fact that time itself lives in Vetrov. The actor is sure that the series turned out to be much more interesting than the film: it is more eventful and dramatic. Yes, and they filmed according to two different scenarios.

It’s hard, cold, but so interesting and honorable

The entire crew was completely immersed in hard work. It often happened that we went to bed at two in the morning, and at four in the morning we had to get up. Some scenes were especially difficult. When filming naval battles, the actors were doused with jets of cold sea water. Vetrov even got sick twice. The artists' temperatures often rose due to the fact that they stood in icy water for a long time while filming the terrible scene of the execution of officers in Kronstadt.

The scene where the ship sailed through a minefield was also filmed for real. As a rule, such scenes are either filmed in a swimming pool, or the necessary environment is recreated on a computer. But this was not the case here. The film crew was taken to Sevastopol, and the circumstances under which they had to work were very similar to combat ones. But everyone found out about this later.

When the scene was already filmed where Vetrov’s character, Timirev, screams about the mines on the port side, it turned out that not everything is so simple here. Either a storm or filming disturbed the peace of the real mines that sank here during the war. That night the actors took a very long time to return home. And only when they landed on shore did the captain explain why so much time had been wasted. During filming, three real live mines floated to the surface, and all this time they were rocking on the waves, lost among the fake mines.

First wife

Actor Vladislav Vetrov seems to be an ambiguous person to the general public. The personal life of this not very public person is still of interest to those who watch films and performances with his participation.

They met while still students at the Taganrog Radio Engineering Institute. Only she became an engineer, and he became an actor. Vetrov was indeed very protective of his family, touchingly caring for his young wife and his son, who was soon born. Just look at his daily runs between studies and rehearsals to the dairy kitchen. Everything was more than good for several years.

And then she, Vera Sotnikova, appeared in his life. This was a very big and strong feeling in Vetrov’s life. They met at the theater. Vladislav tried to give his beloved unusual gifts and surprises. One day I gave her a New Year's Eve in the summer. He cut down a Christmas tree in the forest and brought it home. She stood there for a very long time.

But one day it was Vera who decided to break up. Vetrov had a hard time with the breakup. All night long he remembered the face of the woman whom he then madly loved. But, alas, she was no longer with him. He wanted to marry her, dreamed of their common daughter. But it didn't happen. Vetrov is still jealous of Sotnikov, but that’s how he works.

When he fell in love with Vera, he honestly told his wife and then his parents everything. He understood perfectly well that he had caused Irina, his first wife, severe pain. And now Vladislav feels guilty before her and the children (and he still “gave birth” to a daughter with his wife).

Vladislav Vetrov now

The actor continues to actively act in films. In 2020, the melodrama “Freedom of Letters” was shown on Channel One, which tells about a serf girl who was raised as a lady. Prince Golovin, played by Vladislav Vetrov, sheltered the girl in his own home and raised her as a daughter, educated her and taught her to luxury. But after the death of her benefactor, the girl has to return to serf life; the heroine is sold at auction.

In the same 2018, the actor will play the main role in the experimental dialogue film “Non-Evening”, which is produced by the M. Gorky Film Studio. The film is a dialogue between two famous Russian classical writers Anton Pavlovich Chekhov and Lev Nikolaevich Tolstoy on the main and most pressing Russian issues. In the upcoming film, Vladislav Vetrov will play Chekhov, and the role of Count Tolstoy will go to Mikhail Pakhomenko.

Also planned for 2020 is the release of the film “Lawyers”. The plot of the film is focused on the work of a provincial law office, where a brilliant Moscow lawyer finds himself, and tells about the daily life of lawyers, litigation and personal confrontations. The main role went to Artem Tkachenko. Photos from filming appear quite often on Vladislav Vladimirovich’s Instagram.

Vladislav Vetrov also starred in the melodrama “An Apple from an Apple Tree.” Presumably, the premiere will take place in 2020. The actor got the main role - he played Boris Borisovich. In the story, his son goes to work in the city, finds himself a wealthy mistress there and leaves his family. When the hero comes to his senses, the wife is no longer ready to let her husband back. To support a devoted woman, even irreconcilable everyday enemies unite: the hero’s father and mother-in-law.

In August 2020, the premiere of the series “Grand” took place. This time the plot will develop around Ksenia, the daughter of Uncle Bori, whose role is played by Vladislav Vetrov.

Also with his participation, the premiere of the series “The Big Game” will take place in 2020. This is a comedy series about football. Viewers will see the story of the “couch general,” a charming fat man who has commented on football exclusively in front of the TV all his life, but at some point the Russian Football Federation decides to make him the head coach of the national team.

The main character was played by Dmitry Kolchin, captain and leader of the KVN team “SOK”. And Vladislav Vladimirovich again met on the set with Artem Tkachenko (the film “Lawyers”) and Sergei Lavygin (the TV series “Hotel Eleon” and “Grand”).

Current family

Actor Vladislav Vetrov was not left alone in this life. His family consists of his wife Ekaterina Kirchak (actress of the Youth Theater) and little son Seva. Katya is 13 years younger than her husband. And their acquaintance took place in the theater. As a joke, he calls himself and his wife “guest workers,” because both of them are not Muscovites. And they don’t have their own apartment yet; they rent housing.

Vetrov assures that his beloved woman and their son are always waiting for him at home. And he doesn’t need anything else.

This is him, actor Vladislav Vetrov. The personal life and biography of this person resembles some kind of road with obstacles - difficult, but interesting, and leading only upward. Well, the one who walks will master the road.

Personal life

As mentioned above, the actor first got married at a fairly early student age. The wife of the future actor was a student at the Radio Engineering Institute named Irina. Son Daniil appeared in 1985, when his parents were studying at university.

Vladislav Vetrov and Vera Sotnikova

The personal life of Vladislav Vetrov changed dramatically after meeting with actress Vera Sotnikova. The romance that broke out destroyed the family. Even the suffering experienced by his wife Irina and little son could not stop the avalanche of feelings that overwhelmed the actor. The new stormy love initially brought a sea of happiness. But this feeling was replaced by no less a sea of suffering, because Sotnikova left Vetrov.

Vladislav Vetrov with his wife Ekaterina Kirchak

An attempt to revive the first marriage was futile. Even the birth of their daughter Anastasia in 1997 did not save the family from final collapse. The couple officially separated.

In Moscow, the artist experienced love again. Today the actor is happy with his young wife, actress of the capital’s Youth Theater Ekaterina Kirchak. The couple is raising a son, Vsevolod, who was born to them in 2008.
