TV show on Russian television[ | ]
In the fall of 2013, he took part in the second season of the popular TV show “The Voice,” which is broadcast on Channel One in the evening. As part of Leonid Agutin's team, he reached the quarterfinals of the project. In the fall of 2020, he was selected for the television competition of pop song performers “Main Stage”, aired on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, in which he reached the finals and won based on the results of audience Internet voting on the Vkontakte network.
Star Trek by Peter Elfimov: It all started with KVN
For the first time, our today's hero gained wide fame while performing... in KVN.
In 1999, within the framework of the student league, Petr Elfimov began performing as part of the PTU-124 team. This project did not have much success with the audience, but it still helped Elfimov catch the eye of the guys from the BGU team, which at that time was collecting awards one after another in the KVN Major League. At first, Peter was invited to several joint performances, and then offered to become a permanent member of the team. As part of the KVN games, our today's hero performed most of his team's vocal numbers. Subsequently, his feasible contribution allowed the Belarusian team to become champions of the Major League twice, as well as to win the love and recognition of spectators in all corners of the CIS.
In the early 2000s, the BGU team decided to leave KVN, but Elfimov still remained on the big stage. After the collapse of the previous team, he began performing as part of another team - the RUDN National Team, with which he later again became the league champion. In addition, as part of an international team from the Friendship of Peoples University, our today’s hero won the “Voting KiViN”, the KVN Summer Cup, as well as some other prestigious awards.
Voice 2 - Pyotr Elfimov - “Romance” On the KVN stage, Elfimov quite rarely joked, but again performed most of the musical parts. In 2003, our today's hero graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Music and began to look for new options for continuing his singing career.
One day, the legendary musical group “Pesnyary” became one of them. Elfimov’s bright vocal abilities allowed him to easily break into the cult ensemble, but our today’s hero worked as a member of “Pesnyary” for less than a year.
The reason for leaving the group was a new challenge. In 2004, Petr Elfimov became one of the participants in the prestigious international competition “Slavic Bazaar”, within which he successfully represented Belarus and eventually received the Grand Prix of the festival.
After this victory, Petr Elfimov immediately received a new tempting offer. As a backing vocalist, the singer went to the Eurovision 2004 contest, where he helped the ethno-duo Alexandra and Konstantin. Representatives of Belarus did not make it to the finals of the competition that time, but this performance experience, of course, cannot be called meaningless.
Master class by Peter Elfimov in Molodechno Returning to his homeland, the artist began working on recording his first solo album. As a result, so much material was collected that in 2006 and 2007, two records of the singer were released one after another. Subsequently, the artist recorded two more albums (in 2009 and 2012). However, it was not they who ensured the greatest success for the performer, but all kinds of song competitions.
In 2009, Elfimov represented Belarus as a solo performer at the Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow. As part of the competition, the artist again did not make it to the finals, which served as the starting point for a series of scandals that erupted in his homeland. Elfimov argued with journalists, closed himself off from the public, and eventually completely disappeared from television screens for some time.

Petr Elfimov today
However, later our today's hero still managed to pull himself together again.
In 2010, he won five gold medals at the World Championship of Performing Arts vocal competition in Los Angeles. This success again returned the artist to the public's favor. That’s why Pyotr Elfimov appeared on the Russian vocal show “The Voice”, already feeling the support of the audience. Currently, our today's hero is one of the most prominent representatives of Leonid Agutin's team on the project. He is systematically moving towards victory. However, it is still difficult to talk about how Elfimov’s creative path will develop on this project.
Personal life of Peter Elfimov
There were two marriages in the life of the famous artist. The singer married his first wife, actress Natalya Dementieva, at the age of twenty, and therefore this union was short-lived. The lovers separated, and soon our today's hero began a new romance. This time his chosen one was his manager Tatyana Kosmacheva.
Petr Elfimov is 27 years younger than his girlfriend Tatyana Kosmacheva.
It is very noteworthy that the woman is 27 (!) years older than her chosen one. However, this fact did not prevent the couple from not only legitimizing their relationship, but also giving birth to a daughter.

According to a long-established tradition, every year on January 12, the Belarusian Philharmonic holds a concert dedicated to the work of Vladimir Mulyavin - since the birthday of the great Pesnyar falls on this date.
Every time the hall is full, although the programs are quite different. However, since Vladimir Mulyavin left behind a huge legacy, the musical material, which does not age at all, but only, like good wine, acquires a new, unique taste, will last for a very long time. In 2020, tickets for this concert, which is already becoming a cult favorite, were sold out within a week. There was another reason why there were many more people wanting to attend the concert than there were seats in the Philharmonic concert hall - this time it was the solo program of Pyotr Elfimov.
The program, which almost entirely consisted of Pesnyary’s super hits and was thematically divided into two parts - two parts of the concert (the author of the project was the musician’s wife, Svetlana Mulyavina-Penkina). The first part was composed of elegiac ballads. It so happened that these are almost entirely female names: “Alexandrina”, “Marysya”, “Veronica”, “Alesya”, as well as “Moy dear kut” and “The cranes are flying to Polesie”. All compositions are by Vladimir Mulyavin and Igor Luchenok, who, by the way, was present in the hall. An aria from Igor Luchenok’s rock oratorio “Guslyar” was also performed, which was recently brought back to life by Mikhail Kazinets, having arranged it for an orchestra of folk instruments. In many ways, this project turned out to be successful due to the fact that the main role was performed by Pyotr Elfimov. At the end of the first part, the composition “And the Guitar fell silent” was performed - a dedication to Mulyavin, written at one time by another Belarusian pop legend - Ismail Kaplanov. The first composition to be performed in the concert was one that was once written by Mulyavin, but never had the chance to be performed on stage. This is a song based on the words of Yanka Kupala “I am not a poet.” Thus, the premiere of the song took place 36 years after it was written. She gave the name to the entire program. In the second part, Petr Elfimov changed his long white concert “frock coat” to the floor - close to the traditional concert costumes of the Pesnyars - for clothes that are more familiar to him: leather trousers and a black shirt (the heavy metal essence of Petr Elfimov always somehow manifests itself) . And if in the first part the compositions were selected and performed with a clear desire to convey them as close as possible to the original, authentic Pesenyarov sound, then in the second part the songs sounded more modern, more dynamic and with a greater number of author’s additions. This only once again showed the power of Mulyavin’s talent, since it became clear that all these songs sound completely modern: “golden classics”: “Kasiў Yas Kanyushynu”, “Our beloved”, “Watchman”, “Half an hour before spring”, “Zavushnitsy”, “Enchanted”. The composition “A ў poly varba” was presented in an original way - Pyotr Elfimov took the guitar and was joined by Vladimir Danilovich and Andrey Kolosov - the original male trio began to sound, recreating to some extent the unique ensemble sound of “Pesnyarov”. The orchestra supported the vocalists with an extremely light and delicate arrangement. Special mention should be made about the orchestra and the arrangements in the concert. The host of the program, Olga Brilon, separately introduced Alexander Kramko, whose arrangements included everything from the first to the last compositions of the concert. The transcriptions were made with great love and professionalism. In some cases, the arranger simply made the cymbals sound like a guitar and transferred the well-known instrumental parts of Pesnyarov’s hits to folk instruments. Fortunately, Vladimir Mulyavin was a genius of arrangement and his scores always contain very interesting second voices, back-up vocals and “rich” harmonic turns, which so naturally “grew into” even the arrangements of folk songs that we can no longer imagine their sound otherwise. In other cases, Alexander Kramko made more original arrangements, modernizing the compositions - but each time doing it extremely delicately. I have a question, perhaps, only about the interpretation of “Zavushnitsy”, which, in my opinion, acquired too fast a pace. Well, and, of course, one cannot help but say that without the enthusiasm of Professor Mikhail Kazinets and the Zhinovich Folk Instruments Orchestra, which he has led for many years, this unique annual series of concerts would hardly have taken place at all - too much pure enthusiasm is required its preparation. Just look at the phrase Peter Elfimov said to his fans, who surrounded him behind the stage after the concert in a tight ring, hoping for an autograph and a joint photo for Instagram (no one was refused): “Sorry friends, but I still have to assemble the equipment …” It turned out that Peter Elfimov provided his equipment for the concert. It is clear that these are moments that are not paid and which, in fact, are not valued with money, because this is not just enthusiasm, it is a love of music, respect for national geniuses and national culture, as well as professionalism. When musicians of this level are on stage, everything must sound perfect, which means the equipment must be appropriate. And it doesn’t matter how, when and how much it costs. The program also featured the voice of the young Belarusian singer Andrei Kolosov, who became a completely appropriate “counterweight” to Elfimov. A different timbre, a different manner of performance. He was entrusted with up-tempo and cheerful songs: “Yak ya ya da yay”, “Carols”, which, moreover, were eagerly picked up by the audience. Andrey coped with this perfectly, especially since at “Kaladochki” Pyotr Elfimov did a unique act - in order to support his young colleague, who, of course, was worried about participating in such a concert, he easily went on stage at “Kaladochki” and joined group of backing vocalists. I don’t know which other famous musician is capable of this. The grand finale of the concert was the composition “Chyrvonaya Ruzha”, which Vladimir Mulyavin usually dedicated to his wife, and Peter Elfimov - bowing towards the box where Vladimir Mulyavin’s wife and three of his children sat - also dedicated it to his (his permanent producer, Tatyana Kosmacheva) . Elfimov’s “Chyrvonaya Ruzha” turned into a powerful and passionate soul, which with its incredible vocals “blew up” the audience so much that it was no longer possible to perform anything as an encore in this fantastic concert...
