The star of the series “Voronin” hid the truth about her family for many years.
Playing the role of a prosperous and loving wife in the movies, in real life Yulia Kuvarzina lost this status a long time ago...
Her plump Nastya from the TV series “Voronin” is very loved by TV viewers. The heroine is very gentle - she turns all conflicts with her husband into a joke with a smile, she doesn’t know how to sulk for a long time, she solves family problems playfully, without causing scandals. The ideal wife and keeper of relationships...
In life, the actress also seemed to have a strong and happy family: her husband is an actor, with whom she has been together for almost 20 years, a sweet blonde daughter... But it turns out that Julia hid the bitter truth for many years not only from her fans, but also from her close acquaintances - My husband has not been around for a long time.
“I just didn’t want to be pitied,” explains Kuvarzina.
Childhood and youth
On a fine July day in Moscow, in 1975, a girl was born into the family of a geologist and a teacher.
They named her Yulia. Thus, it is not difficult to calculate how old Yulia Kuvarzina is - forty-two years old. Her parents wanted her to become a teacher, but all the girl’s thoughts and aspirations from early childhood were not about this - she dreamed of another profession. Yulia wanted to be an actress, and was very happy when she had the opportunity to play at least a small, but still a role in the film “Pippi Longstocking” - there was such an offer from the authors of the film. But, to her great regret, her parents were categorically against this.
Moreover, they wanted to distract their daughter from her cherished dream by visiting various clubs:
- Artistic gymnastics.
- Drawing.
- Handicraft studios.
In short, almost everything was possible, with the exception of the drama club, and at first this practice was even effective. Yulia, reluctantly, obeyed and after graduating from school she entered the pedagogical school coveted by her parents, and after that she devoted two years to teaching in a high school.
teacher
Yulia's mother taught her a lot, instilling in her a love of literature. It is known that already at a young age the future actress was interested in Dostoevsky and Turgenev. To prevent the girl from turning down the “slippery” path of acting, her mother suggested that after the ninth grade she go to a pedagogical school. It seemed to her that this would be an excellent insurance against rash decisions.
Yulia dutifully entered, and during her internship she even worked as a primary school teacher. But I didn’t feel my calling in this. One day she disobeys her mother and goes to preparatory courses at the Moscow Art Theater, where after them she successfully entered, ending up on a course with Oleg Tabakov. The girl never returned to teaching.
Lucky case
Who knows, maybe the biography of Yulia Kuvarzina could have quietly and peacefully developed further in this direction - successes in pedagogy testify to this. But, nevertheless, as it soon became clear, she had no intention of burying the cherished dream of her childhood. And it is absolutely no coincidence that Kuvarzina submits documents not just anywhere, but precisely to the legendary Moscow Art Theater School, and not to anyone, but to master Oleg Tabakov for a course.
When she finished her studies, she was easily accepted into the Taganka Theater, into the troupe, where she played a huge number of roles in performances based on the imperishable works of the great classics:
- Alexandra Pushkina.
- Mikhail Bulgakov.
- William Shakespeare.
- Bertolt Brecht.
Her best performances were “Marat and the Marquis de Sade”, “The Master and Margarita”, “The Good Man from Szechwan”, “Eugene Onegin”, “The Uninvited Guest”, “Twelfth Night”. In addition, others were installed:
- "House on the embankment."
- "Sharashka".
- "Business Class Chamber".
- "Gorgeous wedding."
Six times a little bit
In three months she said goodbye to 22 kilograms. The actress says that together with a nutritionist, they eliminated sugar, salt and flour from her diet. But the most difficult thing was not giving up such tasty and familiar ingredients, but eating six meals a day in small, specially balanced portions.
“As soon as you sit down to eat, there’s nothing left to eat!” the actress joked. Well, my husband, actor Alexey Aptovtsev, who tried himself in the restaurant business in his youth, almost sabotaged Yulina’s entire well-thought-out diet!
The actress says that her husband is a wonderful cook, and if he’s already behind the stove, then you should expect delicious food. But she holds on, diligently absorbing six, but such small portions over and over again.
The eternal struggle with weight
During pregnancy, Julia carefully monitored her own weight, afraid of gaining even more weight. Measures to suppress weight were as follows:
- Refusal of coffee, carbonated water and cigarettes.
- Taboo on sausages and fast food.
- I made an appointment with Maria Koroleva, a nutritionist, very famous and one of a kind.
- I took up fitness.
The result did not take long to arrive: after just two weeks, Julia “said goodbye” to twenty-two kilograms. Briefly, the diet looked like this:
- Fractional meals in small portions (250 g).
- Protein food.
- Limiting food intake after 19−00.
- The correct drinking regime is 2.5 liters of water.
The actress practices this regimen from time to time in order to keep herself in shape and please her loved ones.
Such a diet, of course, cannot be followed constantly, and it requires some effort. But Kuvarzina has willpower and does not give up. She has been actively engaged in losing extra pounds since 2013, when her weight began to creep up on her. She decided it was time to take drastic measures.
By the way, there is one more parameter that is of great interest to her fans - the artist’s height. It is 164 cm.
There is, however, one “minus”: many directors are very disappointed that Julia changed her appearance, to which they were accustomed and offered her the appropriate roles based on it. As often happens, the actress found herself hostage to the image of plump young ladies - this is quite logical.
Film roles
Her acting life began in 2002. There were roles in TV series, but small ones:
- “Dasha Vasilyeva. Lover of private investigation."
- "Line of Defense"
- "Silver lily of the valley"
She was invited to these roles due to the actress’s curvaceous figure, which is generally considered to personify kindness and positivity.
Yulia Kuvarzina once admitted that she would really like to get the role of a villain, an arrogant woman with a steely disposition, but until now she had never received such offers.
This film was shown on the STS channel for two years. After that, her life in cinema became more dynamic and eventful:
- The film “The Personal Life of Doctor Selivanova” (2007), where she played the role of a nurse.
- Comedy “Journey to Falling in Love” (2007). The role of Vera.
- Comedy "Winner" (2008).
- Detective “The Best Evening” (2008).
- “Ice in the Coffee Grounds” (2008).
- Mystical drama “The Pharmacist” (2009).
future happiness
Yulia Kuvarzina probably didn’t even suspect that her husband would be an actor, although marriages between colleagues are not uncommon. Her chosen one, actor Alexey Aptovtsev, was born in the Moscow region. He, like Yulia, from childhood dreamed of shining on the stage of the theater and being applauded while standing by the entire audience.
After receiving a certificate of secondary education, the guy was drafted into the army. He had to put his dream of the stage on hold for some time. But during his service, by chance, he was offered a small role in the series. Alexey appeared on the screen for only a few minutes and did not say a word, but this was not so important. The guy was imbued with the spirit of art and became even more strengthened in his goal of graduating from a theater university.
After serving in the army, Alexey returned home. He did not waste time and went to Moscow to enter the Shchukin School. Perseverance and desire helped the guy become a student at Shchuka. However, after its completion, Aptovtsev did not receive any offers. He was accepted into the theater troupe and regularly participated in its productions. But the actor wanted more, and he was offered only small cameo roles in films.
Alexey did not give up. And again, perseverance helped him. The actor’s first popularity came after the release of the film “The Kremlin Cadets” in 2009. Of course, even 10 years later, Aptovtsev cannot boast of many leading roles in films and TV series, but he is always on the directors’ radar.
Before meeting Yulia Kuvarzina, he was married, but Alexey does not like to talk about his previous relationships in order to protect his loved ones from the annoying attention of journalists. According to one version, the actor’s first wife’s name was Faina and she bore him three children. But it so happened that Alexey and Faina divorced, but at the same time were able to maintain good relations.
The dress is not white
By the way, regarding their wedding, Kuvarzina is often asked questions about why she was so modest and even without a white dress. The actress believes that the bride’s white outfit symbolizes her purity and innocence, and she got married at 28 years old and, of course, already had some romantic experience behind her before her husband.
This “masquerade” seemed funny to her, so the outfit was chosen less traditional and more democratic. She wore a real wedding dress - white and ruffled - only during the “wedding” at Voronin’s.
Events of recent years
Julia continues to actively act in films. Every year at least 1-2 films are released with her participation. Films in which she has been involved in recent years:
- Tragic comedy “Scoundrel” (2016). Her partners in the film were Vladimir Vdovichenkov, Valentin Gaft, Olga Ostroumova, Lev Durov.
- Crime film “The Forester” (2017). Here is her partner Oleg Stefanko.
- Melodrama "Fragments".
- On the personal front.
The Taganka Theater not only allowed her to realize her abilities, but also improved the personal life of actress Yulia Kuvarzina. Here she met her future husband Alexei Aptovtsev.
The actor gained fame after playing the role of captain in “The Kremlin Chimes.”
This meeting and subsequent marriage were the result of a difficult path and an equally difficult decision for both, since the actor was then married, and Julia believed that such a relationship did not suit her.
And yet Aptovtsev divorced his marriage two years later, and they began dating. These meetings soon developed into a whirlwind romance. This was followed by an extravagant declaration of love (the words of passion of a man in love were inscribed on the asphalt, under the windows of his beloved).
Soon they had a daughter, Elizabeth.
But she really wants to introduce her daughter Elizabeth to theatrical art, dreaming that she will follow in her footsteps, contrary to the aspirations of her, Yulia, parents.
Photos of the daughter of Alexei and Yulia are constantly published on Instagram, on the wall of the actress’s account.
Once upon a time, Yulia Kuvarzina did not want to have children, and only now for her this circumstance in itself seems strange. But common sense prevailed, and at 31 she realized that selfishness had no place here, and the years were already pushing her on.
Yulia Kuvarzina now
The actress regularly appears on television. Every year, 1-2 films are released with the participation of Yulia Kuvarzina. In 2020, the actress played in the tragicomedy “Scoundrel.” The film is about a girl, Yulia (Olga Levitina), the daughter of a military man, who one day brings an officer in full dress uniform (Vladimir Vdovichenkov) to the house. Julia played a cameo role in the series. Stars of Soviet and Russian cinema Lev Durov, Olga Ostroumova, Valentin Gaft also played in the film.
Yulia Kuvarzina
In March 2020, the premiere of the crime film “Forester” took place on the NTV channel. “Own Land” about the hero Leonid Zubov (Oleg Stefanko), who has to conquer forestry lands from corrupt officials and representatives of the underworld.
Now the melodrama “Fragments” is being prepared for release, in which Julia also stars. The film will show the story of two families whose daughters were mixed up in the maternity hospital.
Actress Yulia Kuvarzina gained popularity among viewers thanks to her roles as simple and kind girls. You want to empathize with her heroines and follow their life stories. The girl walked long and hard towards her dream of becoming an actress. She had this dream as a child.
When Yulia was still very young, she got a small role in the children's film Pippi Longstocking. This was enough for her to become interested in this type of art.
The parents were not happy with their daughter's plans. They decided that by the end of school, Yulia would change her mind about becoming an actress and choose a more serious profession. They decided to occupy all their free time with various sections and circles. She was involved in drawing, needlework and gymnastics. She was allowed to attend any clubs except drama.
The effort was worth the result. This is exactly what the parents thought when their daughter entered the pedagogical faculty. After graduating from university, Yulia worked as a primary school teacher for two years. This was enough to understand that teaching was not her calling. She collected all the documents and decided to try to enter the Moscow Art Theater School. The talented girl succeeded the first time.
Julia woke up famous after the release of the series “Don’t Be Born Beautiful.” Her role was not the main one, but was remembered and loved by the audience. In this series, Kuvarzina played the role of a charming laugher who worked in a fashion agency. After this, the actress began to be offered the roles of cute fatties. At first this irritated Yulia, but then she realized that her characters were positive and positive and came to terms with it.
Two families
They met their future husband at the Taganka Theater, where an actor from Mytishchi was invited to play Sir Toby in Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. Julia played his niece. The actor admits that he was immediately fascinated by the girl, but then he considered himself an exemplary family man and could not afford anything beyond the scope of a friendly relationship with Yulia.
Only a year and a half later, when the actor was already divorced and free, they met again. Almost immediately, the lovers moved in together and lived together for nine years. Julia gave her consent to the marriage already when she was pregnant with Lisa.
It is known that the actress managed to find a common language with Alexei’s older children and even with his ex-wife Faina. They even celebrated the New Year with their families several times.
In September 2020, Yulia made an unexpected confession on Alla Dovlatova’s show: she broke up with Alexei a long time ago. “We haven’t lived together for six years. But we remained friends and communicate. We still have a daughter together, who is now 11 years old,” said the actress. According to Yulia, it is easier for her to be alone and not consult with anyone on the issues of raising Elizabeth.

Personal life of Yulia Kuvarzina
Alexey was immediately captivated by his charming partner. But at that time he was an exemplary family man and raised three daughters, so they began dating only a year and a half later, when he had already separated from his wife. Then they lived in a civil marriage for 9 years, and officially got married 2 months before the birth of their daughter Lisa, in 2008.
Subsequently, the actress managed to make friends with her Lesha’s ex-wife, Faina. She communicates well with both her and her husband’s children from a previous marriage. Twice they celebrated the New Year together. The woman teaches at a theater studio in Zheleznodorozhny, Alexei’s hometown.
