Actress Anna Nevskaya: biography, career, personal life and interesting facts

Biography of Anna Nevskaya

Charming theater and film actress Anna Nevskaya was born on February 4, 1977 in the city of Veliky Novgorod. She chose this surname at the very beginning of her acting career. Anna explains this by saying that her real surname is very difficult to pronounce and is difficult to remember, so she took the beautiful and simple surname of her great-grandmother.

Anna Nevskaya before and after plastic surgery. Figure parameters, height, weight, how the actress lost weight, biography, personal life

Since childhood, Nevskaya was interested in art and did not plan to become an actress. Her father was a doctor and pharmacist, and her mother was an engineer. Anna herself was fond of foreign languages and spoke not only English, but also French. She also enjoyed studying the cultures of various European countries and planned to become a translator.

In her teens, the actress began to study music. Following the instructions of her mother, Nevskaya nevertheless chose the Faculty of Foreign Languages and completed an internship in France. But after the first year of study, the actress took the documents and entered GITIS. Moving to the capital was difficult for Anna, because it was the unstable 90s.

But the future actress coped with all the difficulties, studying at a faculty that specialized in musicals. It is worth noting that this was an experimental course. This is how the creative path of the famous actress began.

Childhood and adolescence

Anna was born on February 4, 1977 in Veliky Novgorod (not to be confused with Nizhny), in a family that had nothing to do with cinema and theater. Her father was a pharmacist, her mother worked as a process engineer.

However, from an early age, Anya was distinguished by her dreaminess and increased emotionality, often reincarnating in her childhood fantasies as her favorite fairy-tale characters. At the same time, she made friends with the yard boys and could always stand up for herself.

Anna Nevskaya in her youth

The girl studied vocals and played the piano, and by the age of 15 she had developed a voice - a beautiful coloratura soprano, which secured Anya first place first at the regional competition “Volkovsky Dawns”, and then at the international festival in St. Petersburg. In her native Novgorod, the girl was called nothing less than “Silver Nightingale.”

In parallel with her vocal successes, Anna demonstrated no less ability in foreign languages. She studied at a gymnasium with a linguistic profile, so she began to study English and French early, which came surprisingly easily to her. The parents welcomed their daughter’s hobby and dreamed of seeing her as a translator in the future.

Anna Nevskaya's height is 172 cm

After graduating from school, the girl did not dare to enter the theater school and became a foreign language student at the local pedagogical university. After studying for a year and even visiting France for an internship, the girl realized that she had made the wrong choice and went to Moscow to enroll in GITIS. The parents were shocked by Anna's action, but did not contradict their daughter and supported her decision.

On her first try, Nevskaya became a student at the music department of a prestigious metropolitan university, taking the course of Oleg Lvovich Kudryashov, and immediately came face to face with the harsh realities of metropolitan life. There was nowhere to live, there was not enough money, but the girl steadfastly endured all adversity, persistently moving towards her goal.

While still studying, Anna began going to acting auditions, and her first film job was a cameo role in the crowd of the film “The Barber of Siberia.” In her final year, she was invited to television as the host of the children's program “100%.”

Career

In her fifth year of university study, Anna Nevskaya decided to go on television. She began hosting a children's program. The TV show was called “One Hundred Percent” and was quite popular at the time. Then the actress began to play in the theater. Some of the first musicals were “Dracula” and “Notre – Dame de Paris”.

After this, Anna played a leading role in the musical The Witches of Eastwick, where she acted as a witch named Sookie.

It was this role that revealed Nevskaya’s comedic talent. The work “OblomOFF” brought great success to the actress.

The Seagull award was awarded to Anna for the musical Captive Spirits.

In addition to the theater, the actress also acted in films. The first small role was in the film “The Barber of Siberia”.

Next, Nevskaya starred in more small films, but fame came to her in 2006. It was at this time that she played business lady Daria Pirogova in the comedy “Who’s the Boss?”

It is worth noting that many famous actresses competed with her for this role, but Anna still attracted the directors with her cute appearance without any traces of plastic surgery. But because of such roles, there is always a risk of becoming an actress of one role, so Nevskaya accepted the invitation to film in the domestic comedy “The Color of the Sky.”

Anna acted in different film genres:

  1. Melodrama "Wormwood - the cursed grass."
  2. Comedy "Christmas tree, rabbit, parrot."
  3. Thriller "The Sorcerer's Dolls".

Thus, the actress managed to prove herself in all genres and prove her versatility, which is a very important quality for an actor.

In 2020, she starred in the films presented in the table:

Personal life

In all interviews, Anna Nevskaya confidently expresses the opinion that a career should not interfere with personal life, and family is the most important thing for a person. Unfortunately, the actress had several unsuccessful romances. But then Anna met her future husband. According to Nevskaya, at first Dmitry Klepatsky seemed to her a very arrogant person.

The husband's main job is business, although he also starred in some films. The most famous of them is “Joker”. Dmitry proposed in France. In 2013, the couple got married surrounded by close relatives and friends, choosing an off-site registration instead of a standard wedding ceremony.

Anna Nevskaya before and after plastic surgery (if she had one) looks young. Rumors that the actress decided to undergo surgery appeared immediately after the publication of wedding photographs, because in them the actress looks noticeably younger.

After the wedding, the couple never had children, but Anna is not against devoting herself to the family. The actress does not like to dedicate fans and journalists to her personal life. There is also little information about the actress on social networks; she is not the most active user. Although Anna still has an account on Instagram.

Climbing Olympus

Anna received an offer to play in the comedy series “Who’s the Boss?” The actress agreed. She had to play the role of businesswoman Daria Pirogova, raising her son and trying to improve her personal life. Together with Anna, Andrei Noskov was involved in this series. He had to play a former football player and single father, who gets a job as a housekeeper for Pirogova.

The series made Anna and Andrey popular actors. Anna showed her ability to play touching and funny roles. Therefore, even before filming of the series was completed, Nevskaya received the main role in the film “The Color of the Sky.” In this film, which satirized the race for fashion, Anna again had to play a comedic role. But her heroine in “The Color of the Sky” did not evoke as many positive emotions and love in the audience as Pirogova did. However, Anna Nevskaya did not take this to heart. The actress's filmography was soon replenished with new works.

Anna Nevskaya's appearance at the beginning of her career: figure parameters, weight, height

Anna Nevskaya's appearance has remained virtually unchanged since the beginning of her career. The actress always looks young and is also very slim.

From her youth, Anna had model parameters, namely, her height was 172 cm, her weight was about 50 kg. Perhaps her ideal figure pushed Nevskaya to accept the offer from Playboy magazine.

In 2009, photographs of the actress in translucent lingerie were published, which once again demonstrated Anna’s beautiful figure.

During filming, the actress was 32 years old, and her figure could be the envy of twenty-year-old girls. Already at this time, Anna began to be suspected of using the services of plastic surgeons.

Did Anna Nevskaya have plastic surgery?

Anna Nevskaya, before and after her friend’s plastic surgery, said that she did not see the need to resort to the services of plastic surgeons herself. Of course, many actresses and even actors quite often seek help from clinics for the purpose of rejuvenation. But Anna boldly replies that there has been no plastic surgery in her life.

At the same time, the actress emphasizes that in the future she also does not plan to rejuvenate herself in this way. Plastic surgery is dangerous, and because of it, all individuality and charm are lost, she believes.

When asked about plastic surgery, Anna replies that alpine skiing, yoga and cycling help her maintain her beauty.

The actress often visits the bathhouse and does various spa treatments. Anna Nevskaya also says that she is lucky with genetics, so she only helps her body look young. It is worth noting that light brown hair color makes the actress look very young.

According to Anna Nevskaya herself, she did not undergo plastic surgery, so there are no before and after photos of her.

For example, in the film “The Barber of Siberia,” directed by Nikita Mikhalkov, Anna Nevskaya has dark brown hair. According to many fans, in this film the actress looked much older than her years, although she was 21 years old during filming.

Anna Nevskaya: “We must find reasons to live”

“We all see what is happening in the world now due to the pandemic. Recently, the life-affirming series “257 Reasons to Live” was released on the START video service. Don't you think that the screening of this series, in which you appeared as a doctor, is somewhat symbolic?

— I think yes, symbolically. The topic, as they say, is on the topic of the day. I think everyone should watch the series, because it concerns not only one disease or situation. It's generally about finding reasons to live. This can apply to everything. And to our situation as well.

— Why did you accept the role of a doctor? What attracted you to this character?

— I’ll say right away, when they sent me the script for the first episode, I realized that the script was very non-standard. This is not about the disease as such, not about how bad everything is. This is a story about how a person copes with it, about the state of remission of the main character and how her life changes during this period. Close people and friends turn away from her, but she does not lose hope, but finds her yellow notebook, where she once wrote down 257 reasons to live and fight the disease. We will see how she embodies these reasons. The series is more about life in general. I really liked the creators' approach to this. I have a small role. I play the attending physician. And I am always interested in such experiments. Since the series is still somewhat experimental for our viewer. I liked the team and the director.

— Was there anything difficult during filming or, on the contrary, did something come too easily?

— The difficult thing was that when we started, I didn’t fully know the ending. For me the ending was a little unexpected. The authors greatly expanded the role of my heroine. But it’s quite natural.

— How do you usually agree to a role, what do you prioritize?

— It’s difficult to answer. Probably interest. This cannot be answered unequivocally. The script should be of interest. And it doesn't matter what it's about. You should be interested. Fascinatingly. I already want all projects to be for love: both performances and filming. It is important when everything is harmonious with you. Then, this is a collective, a team, again, it is very important for me who films, who is filmed. There are many component factors... After all, when you are interested, you have something to play as an actor, try something new, something that you have never played before. Or what I always wanted to do.

— In life, do you like to come up with reasons for yourself why you can do or not do something?

— I thought that you would now ask me about the meaning of life, about the reasons to live (laughs). After all, life itself is a great reason to live. It's my opinion. I am convinced of this. Well, of course, I am a living person, and when I don’t want to do something, I try to justify my reluctance to do something, to do something, to go somewhere. Within myself I immediately find a reason why I won’t do it. If this does not concern laziness, then I have become friends with this condition. And now I know when I need it, it means I need it. And when you don’t really need it and don’t want it, then... it’s not laziness, it’s something else.

- Conscious choice.

— Of course, but I’m still looking for reasons (laughs).

—Are you a hardworking person?

- You know, something in between. I can’t call myself lazy, but I can’t call myself too hardworking either, although I work quite a lot. I like my profession, what I do. It all depends on the circumstances. If I'm interested, then I'm ready to stay awake at night. It lights me up. And if something is mediocre, I don't join. I have a philosophical attitude towards some things. I can’t call myself a workaholic, whether it’s good or bad, well, that’s how it happens for me. Sometimes I even noticed that when I actively start to do something through force, my life settings go astray - either I get sick, or some doors begin to close on me. Therefore, I am somehow careful about this. Now, it would seem, there is a quarantine, but I get up at seven in the morning, the sun is shining, and I get up. And it begins: yoga classes, walks and jogs, English training that needs to be repeated. Signed up for courses. Apparently it's spring. Everything is waking up. And I can’t fall asleep for a long time, I want the day not to end, because I haven’t done enough. As I grew older, my thirst for life awoke. I think that the days are somehow short: I didn’t have time to read something, I didn’t learn new words, that’s my internal work. It turns out, on the contrary, sitting at home, this comfort zone is starting to really relax me. And in this chaos I try to find reasons for myself to move and develop. The brain must work, the body and everything else. Otherwise, endless vacation is difficult (laughs). Apparently, I no longer know how to relax like that. Even on vacation I like to read and go for a run. I don't know how to lie on the sand and just sunbathe. It's such a habit.

— Why at some point did you decide to take a pseudonym, the surname of your great-grandmother??

- So, I decided and took it (laughs). It seemed to me that it was more beautiful, somehow more mysterious. It happened that way. Nobody was against it. And I liked it. Now I am Nevskaya.

— You participated in popular musicals: “Notre Dame de Paris”, “The Witches of Eastwick”, “Dracula”. What is your relationship with this genre today?

- Yes, in general, none. In the sense that I no longer work in musicals. Somehow we parted like that, fate separated us. There were no offers. If they were now, I would consider them with pleasure. Because I love this genre. I remember when I started, especially in The Witches of Eastwick, I just had a blast. I really liked everything. It seemed to me that this is what I always want to do. But everything was somehow not easy. I can’t say that I was in great demand. Then I started actively acting. And I was so drawn in that everything else fell away. But I have an entrepreneurial performance, although it’s not that much. I hope there will be more. And so I watch musicals, we just don’t have the same market for it as in the West. In general, this is a very interesting genre, very complex. In it you can reveal yourself: sing, dance, talk - it’s very cool. Especially if you can do it. The genre is bright, beautiful, festive. And I like bright projects. Even if the story is not exactly funny, like Notre Dame de Paris, it is still bright and meaningful. I would love to work, but there are more roles for young actors - 20-30 years old. This is already the ceiling. And then there are character roles, and I’m not exactly that kind of actress. Although I can, probably, but directors don’t see me like that. Therefore, working in musicals is becoming more and more difficult - there are fewer roles.

— You said that you are employed in an enterprise. And what about the repertory theater, returning to the question of a hardworking person, isn’t this where the actor’s hard work manifests itself?

“I can’t say whether this is how it manifests itself or not. I know many actors who are members of repertory theater troupes; now many things are changing there, for example, they are switching to a contract basis. So, they sit and wait for their role for months, years. This is a difficult moment for me, I can’t do this. What if you don’t really like something in the theater? But we need to work. This moment of obligation always stopped me, it was not close to me. It's hard enough working in a repertory theater. This does not mean that you will be given leading roles. Far from it. There is some kind of obligation. Some were lucky, some were out of love, he had role after role. But such cases are extremely rare; more often it is a long vegetation in the troupe after college, being introduced to all the small roles. That’s why things didn’t work out for me with the repertory theater.

— Do you make a distinction between the series and the feature film?

- Not anymore, to be honest. And I myself don’t have many full-length films in my creative piggy bank (laughs). Now, if you ask me as a viewer, I can say that I also don’t make a distinction, because almost all new series are more interesting than many films that are currently being released. Today there is such a strong serial market, such stories, such a mixture of genres that now this is not some kind of “soap”, but a serious production. This is now a strong and well-developed genre. And most importantly, very interesting.

— How were there serial films before, the same ones by Krasnopolsky and Uskov?

- Absolutely. Mixing genres, as I already said, the characters develop, changing the laws of drama, and it’s so interesting, there’s so much new. So now I don’t share anything at all.

In the series that made Anna famous, “Who’s the Boss?” the actress plays with Andrei Noskov

Gennady Avramenko

- What is more important to you - money or role?

- Oh, why did you ask me about this (laughs)? Do you want to ask me if I love money? Yes, I love them very much. But I love roles even more (laughs). And when there are roles and money, it’s just happiness! But money comes and goes, such energy, but the roles are with you forever. This is a process, this is an interest. Of course, I love roles, but I can’t live without money (laughs). It's difficult without them. Let there be money and roles.

— Do you regret today, after the passage of years, that you ended up on the set of the acclaimed TV series “Who’s the Boss?”, which in one way or another influenced your recognition?

- Well, why do I regret it? I am very happy about it. I was already 29 years old, quite late to start acting. And immediately the big main role is happiness. At that time they still said with slight disdain: “Ugh, a sitcom!” They had a strange attitude towards this genre, to put it mildly. Now everything has changed, we were just talking about TV series, now a lot of actors are coming out of them. This is if we talk about their popularity. So I think I had carte blanche. The chance came. And I'm very happy about it. It was also a big school, because existence in a sitcom is completely different than in a feature film, you always have to be very collected. Temperament, energy - everything should work like a spring. The series greatly influenced my acting skills.

— In the series you had wonderful partners: Lyudmila Artemyeva, Andrey Noskov, Gennady Khazanov, Valery Garkalin, Evelina Bledans and others. Was it easy to be on the same set with them?

— The relationship was good, partnership. It is important. We somehow quickly became an ensemble. And many simply came: some for an episode, some as a guest star. We had a very friendly company. Of course, sometimes there was fatigue and slight irritation when we went on air at first. We didn’t shoot that much, just a year and a half. Now they have been working on the project for years.

— What do partnerships mean to you? Can you determine this for yourself?

— In work it’s like ping-pong. If someone dropped the ball, the ball rolled away. That's all. Without a partner, working in cinema or theater is impossible. No partner - everything is lost. Therefore, someone must definitely pick up your ball. And when this doesn’t happen, you immediately get stuck. You want to give something, but there is no answer. It's very difficult to work like that. And your partner returns the ball to you in that ping-pong game. The game is present. It’s the same in life. When people coexist, we can talk about marriage too, then there is a person nearby who will always pick up your ball. And if you throw the ball all the time and run after it yourself, then this is not a partnership. These people are not sailing in the same boat. It's bad, it's hard. This only makes communication more difficult. Partnerships are very important in everything.

— Have you ever fallen in love with your partner?

— I had to (laughs). It is my husband! We met on the set.

- Admit it, how to refuse a man his advances, explain to him that he is not a match for you, and at the same time not offend him?

- That's a very difficult question. Moreover, if the man is good, it is tragic (laughs). To say “let’s remain friends” also means to offend a person. He's probably counting on something. But it happens, roads diverge. I don't know, I can't give advice. It's always very difficult (laughs). We must try to remain, if not on friendly terms, then probably on good terms with the person, this is important. No need to burn bridges. But it’s difficult to give advice. This is all very individual. People are all different. Some people can consciously accept this, but others cannot. Everyone behaves differently when they hear a refusal. I'm still learning to say no to everything: bad projects, bad meetings, uninteresting events. Because there is always doubt: what if this is some new opportunity. But we must learn to say “no”. Because it’s more honest and easier. And if you don’t love a person, you need to say it, you need to find it, find the words. The person will suffer, but he will understand. He will suffer anyway, it’s worse to deceive him. This is a road to nowhere. That's why I'm for honesty. It may be painful, but it's better. After all, everything will pass, there will be another day, new relationships, new people. But a lie is like timelessness, it is not constructive. It's better to say it like it is, but find words of wisdom. So a little bit Chinese. The Chinese don’t say yes or no (laughs). We need to learn this from our nature.

Nevskaya met her husband Dmitry Klepatsky on the set

Gennady Avramenko

— What kind of men do you like in appearance and character?

- Oh, well, different (laughs). But I really like my husband. I like handsome men who dress well, men with humor. And I really love talented people. I always fell in love with talented people. A person is always distinguished by attractive charisma.

— Does your spouse fully meet your requirements for male beauty, charisma and character?

— Yes, I didn’t have any demands (laughs). I just saw a person and fell in love. He's just fine. There is mutual understanding, and there are many other things in it that I like. The very concept of “a requirement for someone” can be a requirement when hiring. If we talk about love, then, of course, there are no criteria. What's good about Dima (Dmitry Klepatsky - author's note) is that he is also a person who strives for mutual understanding. He produces, it is clear that his ability to negotiate is highly developed. This is important, including in marriage. There are stumbling blocks, for example, different interests, but we must be able to come to an agreement, mutually understand what is best for us. Not specifically for you or me, but for us as a couple. He knows how and can do it. This is an important, sometimes rare, trait in a man. And I really like her in it. This is an extremely important moment for me.

- How did he win your heart?

- Hard to tell. I watched him, he was kind. Not in the sense of a kind person, but a person with positive energy. Somehow they brought him the wrong suit on the set, usually many people start to get nervous and fuss, but he somehow kindly began to say that because of this person he would not have time to enter the frame on time. Because of the way he talked to the costume designer, I noticed him. He behaved politely and intelligently, explaining to the person that this should not be done. He generally does not like harsh expressions, although he himself is an athlete who has been ski jumping all his life. Probably, his sports discipline, because what incredible composure and concentration is needed when he flies on skis high above the ground, left an imprint on his character. He knows how to quickly gather himself, concentrate, and restrain his sometimes negative emotions. But I understood this after a while, but not at first. At first there was just a kind, intelligent attitude towards the people around me. And he jokes well (laughs).

— They say that you yourself are not averse to jokes, do you like to joke with a couple?

- Yes, in fact, we make fun of each other, tease each other. And that's great. Even now, at some moments it helps. That's how we live.

— You once said that our desires come true when we stop thinking about them, stop wishing. Are you still sure of this today?

- Definitely. But when you stop thinking about your desire, you still think about it (laughs). But not all the time. Such a non-violent desire is obtained. Then yes. Sometimes I say with humor that something happens when you no longer need it. This is more difficult (laughs). You forgot, let go, and it came true. And you think, what to do about it now? But this is so, a joke of humor. In general, yes, indeed, this is a subtle feeling. It’s difficult to describe it, how to want it without wanting it.

Anna Nevskaya's figure parameters today

Anna Nevskaya remained virtually unchanged before and after plastic surgery - this is the opinion of some skeptics who closely follow the life of the actress.

But at the same time, most fans are still convinced that Anna has natural attractiveness.

Nevskaya also does not hide her love for sports and proper nutrition.

The actress always closely monitors her diet. Of course, this has the best effect on her figure.

Anna's figure parameters are close to the model parameters:

  • height 172 cm;
  • weight 53 kg.

It is worth noting that the actress is slightly above average in height.

This year she turned 41, but she is as slim as she was at the beginning of her career. It is worth noting that Anna takes her wardrobe choices seriously, which further emphasizes the actress’s figure.

From time to time, information about Anna Nevskaya's plastic surgeries appears in magazines or various websites. Sometimes these articles are even accompanied by photographs of a younger actress.

Cinema

The actress first appeared in films as a student, in a tiny episode, but then immediately with Nikita Mikhalkov himself in the famous film “The Barber of Siberia” with Oleg Menshikov and Julia Ormond.

"Who is the head in this house?"

The actress gained popularity due to her role as Daria Pirogova in the family comedy “Who’s the Boss?” Her heroine, a charming, intelligent blonde, businesswoman, burdened with an eccentric and selfish mother and a stupid, good-natured housekeeper, immediately found her admirers. The series with the participation of Lyudmila Artemyeva, Daria Bondarenko, Andrei Noskov was on the screens for two whole years.

It turned out that they could not find an actress for the role of Daria. Among the contenders were such eminent artists as Ingeborga Dapkunaite, Maria Shukshina, Maria Mironova. But they still approved Anna Nevskaya.

She tells how this happened: “They called me from the company that was filming the series and invited me to the casting - they said that they had been looking for an actress for the main role for a long time. No one really knew who I was, what I could do, and I didn’t really brag. I immediately decided that I would not say anything about musicals, otherwise they would immediately think that I am a singer and have nothing to do with dramatic art. But, apparently, they liked me, they invited me again - my candidacy had to be approved not only by ours, but also by American producers.

Then I went on tour, and when I returned, they called me again and said: “Anya, are you standing? And you sit down, sit down - you have been approved! That's how it all happened. I don’t know how I won them over. Probably a sense of humor, the ability to laugh at oneself, openness, ease.”

"Color of the Sky"

In parallel with the role of Daria Pirogova, the actress worked in the melodrama “The Color of the Sky” on a completely different character - Lyusya. And combining these roles was sometimes difficult. Anna shares: “I play the main character’s wife - an eccentric person who loves everything that is fashionable now: Japanese cuisine, keeping track of her karma and regularly cleansing her intestines. And I had my hair done up especially for this role and had huge, long, burgundy false nails done, which I hate!

And all night I walked around with these nails, and also the specific smell of oriental cuisine - the cook in front of us was constantly throwing shrimp or eggshells. When I arrived home, I discovered that it was impossible to tear off my nails - they were glued tightly, and in the morning I had to go to the “Who’s the Boss?” site. I was ready to cry from powerlessness - these are the sacrifices one has to make. Although these are, of course, all little things.”

Then came the main roles: in the comedy “Christmas Tree, Rabbit, Parrot” by Andrei Benkendorf, in the serial thriller “Sorcerer’s Dolls” by Grigory Zhikharevich, in the action movie “Joker” by Dmitry Lavrov.

“Wormwood is a cursed herb”

In 2010, the premiere of Roman Fokin’s melodrama “Wormwood - the Cursed Grass” took place on the Rossiya TV channel, where the actress played the main role - the telegraph operator Lyuba. In the story, Lyuba Kruzhkina lives in a village and raises her son. Failure in her personal life forced her to decide to live alone: after all, she is no longer young - she is forty years old. The thrill of love is over.

She has a son who needs to be put on his feet, a job. There is also a suitor, the village teacher Gennady Ivanovich. He invites Lyuba to marry him, but her soul does not lie with this man, too intelligent for these places. However, fate, as usual, brings a surprise at the most unexpected moment: under strange circumstances, a handsome stranger suddenly appears in Lyuba’s life...

The ensemble of Anna in the film consisted of: Konstantin Solovyov, Anna Banshchikova, Sergey Genkin, Lyudmila Morozova.
